Your goal is pretty simple to get ? Conquer the largest territory.
It seems simple at first since the game is very easy to handle. But beware it might be a bit harder to master.
Whether you’re bold or careful, outwit your opponents by finding the best strategy to conquer the largest space. And stay cautious, you have a weak point : your tail. If ever it is touched by an opponent, you are dead.
Also make sure to guard your territory because in Paper.io nothing is sure as long as you do not own the whole territory. Stealing is legal and your opponents won’t hesitate to do so.

Gone downhill. I used to love this game, but they've slowly added in more and more ads. I finally decided to pay for no ads, and now can't get the free revive. As well, the app has been crashing alot recently, for the last week I haven't been able to get it to boot up. I regret spending any money on this, yeah, the ads are annoying, but you can get rid of them by turning off data and wifi, I just figured I'd play enough to get value from the purchase, and now I can't play the game at all..
This used to be my go-to game. For the past month, I have freezing issues and force closes. Reporting and Uninstalling did not fix. It used to be a great way of passing time. Not worth it if the game doesn't play.
Keeps crashing. Let's me play a game then crashes the next few times. Random crashes. I've tried clearing cache, reinstalling, restarting. Still the same thing. 🙄
Most lag I have ever experienced on my device. I just installed it and I could barely shut off my phone and go back in without my phone freezing. I'd rather not deal with this so I'm uninstalling the app.
The only part of the app that works is the little instruction/tutorial part, and then the app closes. Every time. Should be zero stars for a nonfunctional app.
I used to love this game, played it for years. But since the last update I can't even open the app. It freezes up then closes. I even uninstalled it then reinstalled it. Still nothing. It's been 2 weeks and I can no longer play this game that used to be awesome.
You get no ads when you buy the game but then you can't continue playing the game with an ad because it no longer give you the choice so I really wish I could refund myself for this stupid choice I made to buy the game
What do I smell? Bad game alert! This can't be that ba- oh nvm. Jokes aside this game is horrible! Right after I downloaded the game, it crashed, it literally crashes every 5 seconds. DONT DOWNLOAD!
I dont want to be toxic but when i was playing for my first time theres glichting at first when it was louding and when i was playing the game i was moving strate at the right then it was glitching and it was stuck on i keep pressing home and then i tride one more time and it work
Fix the bugs my consecutive day play is still 0 and I'm not getting my unlocked icons...update...4 yrs later still crashes all the time
It's a fun game but has two problems making it really difficult to play. First, it's glitchy and crashes often. Second, they place an add on the screen during the game right where you would control with your right thumb, so you're constantly accidentally clicking the ad while playing. I played this game years ago and don't remember these issues so they must be new.
The actual games are fun but when half the time your watching ads is really annoying.

Been playing for a long time, but just got new phone and it won't load now. Galaxy S22 ultra.
Plays fine on my A9 but crashes on my s22+ both running same version and both tested on the same day.
Excellent game. It is so much fun and really challenging. A lot of restraint is needed before you try to go for a big area and score a lot of space. It can be frustrating when you get eliminated as soon as you start, but the next turn usually places you in a wider zone with less competition. If not, try again. Once you get started, the strategy comes in. People complaining about adds need to wake up and realise they're getting a game for free. Ads are necessary for that purpose. Plus the option is there to pay and play ad free.
When it runs smooth, it's a great game but it has herky jerky action a lot. Sometimes it runs smooth and it's really fun but a lot of the time the frame refresh skips by a second or so, really screwing up the game. And when it does that, the controls lag too. You have to enter your move a second or two before it takes effect. If they fix this problem, it would be great.
Paper.io is an awesome game. There are adds but you don't even have to wait until they are finished! A small little box in the top corner pops up containing the add. You can still watch it but it doesn't interfere with the controls at all. The skins are awesome and you can join with your friends. Voodoo keep the great work up. Love it all! So that's 5 stars from me!
So I like the game and the concept, but there are way too many adds. Everytime I die there's an add before I can play again. With the extra life option I watched the ad, but when it gave me the extra turn I could not control the direction, so I ended up going over my trail. If this could be helped and ads reduced I'd give it 5 stars
This app has too many ads. The ads would pop up before, after, and in between the game if you died. Not only that, it was very glitchy when you would get an "extra life" and any move you made would stall or not go at all. Multiple times I died because of this. I'm very annoyed with this app. It didn't preform at all the way it should have. Definitely should gave given it one star.
Fun up to a point - nice visuals, intuitive controls and easy-to-understand concept. BUT. Adverts are intrusive and difficult to exit; privacy settings nag you every time you start a run. The biggest issue for me is that all too often a bot will randomly spawn right on top of me and kill me within a fraction of a second; deeply frustrating in what should be a skill-based game, and a significant bug that needs plugging... there needs to be a no-spawn radius around the player.
I love this game. I've spent alot of time in it. My complaint,however is (in the last week in particular) anytime I've gotten a large chunk taken it either lags and says I only have .30% or I die,watch the revive ad and it still glitches and it saves the score is lower then 1%. That just happens to me about 2 minutes ago and I had almost 50% of the map covered. It didnt even get saved as new high score. This is a great game,but it desperately needs an update.
LOVE the game itself. BUT today I decided to pay to stop ads that pop up after I finish a game. But now I also don't have to option to CHOOSE to watch ads to get an extra life. I assumed that optional ads would remain that help gameplay. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app to get them back but it didn't change it. Is there anyway to get the option back to have a second life?
