Paper Reader (deprecated)
Paper Reader is an unofficial Android Client for Mendeley is designed to phones and tablets. This is a beta version of Paper Reader V0.6.0This APP are using the new Mendeley API .

Therefore I cannot use it for much
Waste of time
Slow in synchronization
Sync takes a very long time (more than an hour!!) and no way to escape it. On my phone (yes, I read on my phone), all I can see is the mendeley metadata. There is no download button. I also installed on my tablet and the download button is there. Would rate more highly if sync wasn't such a painful experience.
The app only shows a single paper from my entire collection regardless of how many times I try to synchronize.
This is a really great app, although the sync process is rather slow. Documents downloaded quickly, and displayed OK. Keep up the good work!
Sing in! Are you kidding me? Try Sign in. Also the app wont open on any of my devices!
Can see my library and download papers but can not open. I have adobe and have reinstalled 3 times
Not particularly polished, and the lack of ability to make notes is a significant drawback. But still the best android Mendeley app I've used (possibly because it uses the new API).
Can't open any PDFs without the app crashing. Running it on nexus 5 with android 5.0 lollipop. Also, the button at the startup screen says "sing in" and not "sign in"...........
one of the nice features in Medeley that I can put global notes about each paper. Paper reader has a good looking design, but i need to be able to easily view and edit my notes about each paper.
Not useful for paper collection
The interface is great. The app would be absolutely perfect if it could allow me to download the papers and synchronise my web library with a local folder. I am not sure whether it is a compatibility issue (using android lollipop on nexus 9). I don't find seeing only the metadata (even when I am online) very useful.
