This app is great for short term use, but unlikely so if you're looking for long term one. The core feature is great in how papers are readily accessible to read with a click (and without paywalls) , however the lack of bookmark or search by journal topic has hindered my full enjoyment and thus I had to uninstalled this. If you want to get a quick read of specific paper, it's the perfect app.
This is a very simple app for browsing open access papers and not much more (HINT: find another app to do your reading). The search is very poor, and sometimes doesn't return results even for very common terms. There is no bookmarking feature or "last read" functionality; if the app closes or even decides to reload, you lose whatever you were reading, and have to pray you can find it again through the inconsistent search.
As an incoming freshman, this app will surely help me in future. Thumbs up to the developers for making this. 👍🏻 Also, please at least add a bookmark option so the users like me can easily navigate the paper we're looking for. Tip: Since it's hard to bookmark the papers /journals, just copy the link below the 'read paper', click open to browser, and it will directly download the file.
A month ago, the app worked fine but since then it only show " failed to load results". Please update ur app as soon as possible and resolve it.
I enjoy most the rapid response of search results and related topics suggestions. If I could only get a browser that displayed results this amazingly quick.

Needs a bookmarking function. Now I cant find that paper that really intrigued me unless I can remember the search string. This nearly breaks the reason for searching research papers past the main priority of a portal and reading. [May Update] Also the app doesnt remember what paper you were at if you leave the app or app refreshes.
This is a very nice app; I'd give 5 stars if there were a bookmark function, or a save PDF function, or just an 'open link in browser' option. Also, all hyperlinks I've encountered in journals are non functioning. It's pretty good right now; but it has the potential to be truly great.

I can no longer find any articles. Whatever I put in the search box, it comes as failed to load results. It's a pity as it was a good research app.

Free scientific papers are wonderful, but this application lacks many basic features. There are search functions, but they are incredibly limited in what they can do and how they can be customized. There is no way to filter by favored journals. There is no way to save papers for later, or label them as "favorite" so that you can easily look them back up. It's good for papers, but if you're looking for specific genres, or following multiple areas of research, it gets difficult to work with.
