Our system is simple. We've built a massive database of company information. When we identify your photo, we use this information to instantly submit a request on your behalf. If we don't know about the company already, our database discovers what we need to know automatically.

Years ago I tried this and it worked OK. I bought a subscription, it has been less than 20% success. I am still receiving catalogs they say have been stopped. Will not be renewing and I'm really disappointed.

The idea of this app is awesome. You get 4 free requests. Beyond that it is $3.99 monthly. Not bad if it actually works. I've made 1 request, so I'm waiting to see if it's successful. Be careful entering the information for your 4 free requests because if you mess up, it still counts as a request. I wasted one of mine accidentally putting a wrong last name.

Litterally dosnt work anymore. It was an amazing app for junk mail and I've stopped receiving a boat load of it, however once update 3.5.3 was uploaded; the app crashes or dosnt process your pictures of the junk mail. I've reached out to customer support, they told me to just update to version 3.5.4 but its not released. Talking with customer support is awful. I spent cash on the lifetime membership too

Our family was absolutely drowning in junk mail, 10 to 20 lbs a week! After trying myself for several months of no success to make contact and get our address removed, I finally installed this app and in 3 months, we are now down to 3 or 4 pieces a week! Thank you PaperKarma! Will 100% recommend this service. It's a thousand times worth the few dollars it costs for your choice of subscription!

So far this thing WORKS! Stopped junk mail from each of the places requested. I will keep using for sure!

I love this app! I love how it handles unsubscribing me from all of the junk mail I receive. It is very easy to use!

Great way to reduce waste and all the spam in snail mail. It's like the spam filter for real life.

I can't take a picture through the app, I have to take a pic from my camera, and upload from my images (then go back & delete). If I try to take a pic in the app, it just closes itself. Not sure yet if it even works because the trial is so short. It takes a few mailing cycles to process the request but the free trial ends after only a few unsubscribes. I would rather have in-app ads and have the app be free, than pay for something that doesn't function properly or that I can't even prove works.

Crashes every time I try to click the button to take a photo. Wasted $4 b/c the service never worked.

I would give this more stars as I see less in my mailbox, but I have trouble with the subscription. You're not able to change mid month or even at the end of the period to a different option. All you can do is cancel but only on the day that it expires. I send emails and I don't hear back for a week, so I'm not sure that the support is there.

This is a great service. If you care about the environment, get this app. I hope more use this app and we can rid the world of junk mail forever. (Edited) One year on, I use the app and I get maybe one piece of junk mail every 4-6 months. If my phone suddenly asked me to keep three apps, it would be this one, gmail and Google drive.

Downloaded the app, went to sign up, keeps kicking it back saying that I need to enter my full name, email address & password. I already did that, why would I try to sign up without entering anything? Tried 3 times in case I entered something wrong. If the dev can't get something as simple as a sign up form right, I don't want this junk on my phone.

Customer service stopped responding. It worked well during the free trial but both times I tried to subscribe, 9 months ago, and also now, once I was subscribed it wouldn't let me add more mail. I try to take a picture and I get a brief loading symbol and it takes me back to the previous page.

Im giving 3 stars only because of the fact that a "cancel subscription " button is simply not available in the app. Its should be very easy for the customer to cancel,as its easy to start a subscription. Update: as I came here to leave this review...i realized that there's a manage subscription button HERE...in the play store app. I didn't know that and looked for it in the wrong place for days. Not fun.

I really liked the idea of this app, hence even paid the 6 months subscription. It would've been great if it worked too! It doesn't! I'm still getting junk mail from the same brands that I've reported multiple times in the app. So thumbs down for me, uninstalling this app!

Tom. S. Aug 27, 2019

From my experience in 2008 unsubscribing to junk mail via USPS, unsubscribing can take months to take effect. And is a significant cost in stamps and time. Also, unsubscribing electronically is not instantaneous. I have not used this app long enough to know if I have been successfully unsubscribed. So it is too early to say this app deserves 5 stars but so far this app is awesome.

Used 2013+ & close to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Only downsides: ➖⭐️Cost should be less than $10/yr & ➖⭐️Painful choosing names/addresses unnecessarily! I like it much and can't wait to give it a full 5 stars, which it can easily achieve. I've used it since 2013! If it made these 2 vital improvements it would get +⭐️ +⭐️on my review and I'll recommend it to my network again. ➕➕➕Great mostly easy unsubscribing to junk mail. ➕I appreciate the new easy bulk-unsubscribe to ALL credit card and insurance offers in one easy step! ➖Cost. I understand it can no longer be free. Previously, I referred 10-20 users. At under $10/year (even $9.99/yr) they would get many more users & I would wholeheartedly recommend it again, but not at $20/yr. They would actually make more money! ➖There is no way to sort your names/addresses so if you have multiple people, previous residents, multiple misspellings of your names, etc. you will have to click to the address list every time then search through to your main address instead of just unsubscribe. I wrote them suggesting they show the most recently used in the last 2 months in order so you usually default to a simple Unsubscribe! instead of searching.

Fairly simple to use. Doesn't always pick up the company name after taking a picture, but it's much quicker than me going to each company's website and trying to find the mailing list unsubscribe link. I've had it several months and I believe I have less junk mail.

S. S. Apr 17, 2020

Wrote a review before about many of my requests failing in the app. I gave the app a chance again & find two new annoying enhancements. 1) To add a new business name that isn't in their files, you have to buy a subscription (to enhance their database!) & 2) If a sender is part of a "mass mailer" group they identified, you can only unsubscribe from one of those organizations by unsubscribing to all the orgs. No choice. Dumb. Their Product Development team misses the monetization ball again.

Chr. H. May 18, 2019

I won't give any app access to all my files, images, etc. The fact that it appears to not work without it is a deal breaker. Camera access, sure, but not my entire phone.

PaperKarma really works! We needed a way to stop the avalanche of catalogs (5-10 a day!) that arrived at my house every month. I'm happy to say that within a month or two of signing up for PaperKarma the catalogs have virtually stopped. If you're on the fence about paying for the service, just go ahead and do it. It's totally worth the minimal monthly cost.

Geo. M. Apr 11, 2020

I had initial high expectations. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to get support with no responses, my expectations have faded. Many of my scans are stuck on "processing" and paperkarna is not supporting.

San. A. Sep 27, 2021

The app wont let me sign up. Also, instead of manually typing the addresses not in your database, can you transder image to text? Android's photo app lets us do that. Thanks. I want to use the app but it seema glitchy right now.

And. K. Sep 13, 2021

This used to be a great app in the early days, but now it doesn't work at all. (It just opens up to the "tutorial" slides, then crashes....) Bummer. 🙁

Dan. L. Apr 7, 2020

I liked it but for the last 2 months they had charged me but my account doesn't work. I contacted them, it wasn't that helpful. Rude customer service. The app seems kinda like a scam

New. B. Nov 16, 2020

Couldn't be happier with this easy solution to junk mail. I've used this for several years now (periodically unsubscribing from a big pile of mail that I've saved up), and there's way less junk mail these days.

Dav. H. Jul 21, 2021

It's so disappointing they went to a subscription-based model. This app does not need a monthly subscription, so most people will sign up and forget while they're constantly billed. I had thought this company was a bit more ethical than this.
