Just updated to the new version and I already see a bug. If you search for a recipe and then open one, the download button appears but if I go back to the search results, the download button stays and does not go away and makes for a confusing and messy experience.
Overpriced app which offers nothing new. It's not even accessible across different platforms. I bought it over $6 for phone and when I wanted to use it on my desktop it costs an additional $19.99...LOOOOOL I wish I could just have a refund or better yet please don't waste your money, download and get disappointed. Even visual aesthetics are below average on this app. I wonder on what basis they are trying to sell it at such a price.
People giving low ratings because they can't buy once and put on all of their devices dont understand the work that goes into developing for all the different platforms. Now that's out of the way I have to say this app is a must for anyone that deals with online recipes a lot. Tired of the life stories people feel the need to write before you get to the recipe? Paprika to the rescue. Shopping list, meal plans is a super bonus. Paprika is setup for family library share, setup on mine and my SOs with cloud sync without any issues. I can't recommend this app enough. One thing I would absolutely love to see in this app is the ability to put in what ingredients you have on hand, and have Paprika suggest the recipes you've saved that best match those ingredients.
This is my favorite recipe app. I tried a lot of them before finding this gem. Started with the app, then purchased the pc version. Will not ever be without my Paprika pal :) I can't think of one disappointing tidbit for anyone. From the user friendliness, to the syncing feature, to the times I've had to contact their support team, never an ounce of regret.
I have pinned recipes on Pinterest and then gone back to make them and the site is no longer available. Just save all the recipes in Paprika and you'll never loose another recipe. I LOVE this app!!! From recipes, menu planning to grocery list this is the very best app for all that!
I really want this app to work because it is a genius way for me to organize meals for my family. Unfortunately, half the time or more it won't upload the recipes. Several of the sites they have linked won't work properly. I would like to know if the windows or kindle version are any better.
Very disappointed that it misses simple features from the computer version like multiple timers and the ability to pin recipes to easily switch between them. Dear developers, pease add these features, otherwise the app is cumbersome for cooking multiple recipes at once or batch cooking recipes in sequence.
I make as many products as I can (e.g. homemade noodles, pasta, sourdough etc) and complete as much of my shopping as possible from a bulk foods shop to avoid product packaging. I need to be able to differentiate between what can be bought from the bulk foods shop and what can't.. I tried putting all the products I purchase in the bulk foods shop the miscellaneous list but it stopped adding them. Maybe there is a limit? I otherwise like this app
I use it to download recipes but I also enter other things into it like measurements or list so it can be used a lot of ways. It's super easy to download recipes, including a Photo of the dish.
Import recipe from website functionality does not work on most websites. Used to import recipes and try them. After trying recipes it was easy to edit changes. Still usable for own recipes but main functionality non existent. Switched to Pocket.
Paprika is mostly a great app, but I am rating the android app low because it is missing features that the IOS app has - the pantry and being able to pin multiple recipes to easily switch between. I moved to android from iphone and this is very disappointing.
Great app! It won't get every recipe from the web but you can enter any you realy want by hand. Shopping lists can b realy long depending on how the ingredients are worded. But they work!
Its great, sorry i uninstalled...I got a new radio that has an iPad on it so it was better onbthat. Ftive stars, its useful very. I like it. by the way to all of you. you have to update or get the recipes? it will say, just a heads up. 😁😋
I was really disappointed that this version does not have the menu feature that is in the iOS version, as that was mainly how I used it.
Very rarely is it able to automatically copy recipes on the web. Try another app.
This app sorely needs a redesign. It's aged poorly and is unintuitive.
Doesn't appear to support .webp files when scraping the image from a website, that being said, this app rocks!
Worth some money. Great UI and tools for amateurs and pros. Look at others but worth it.
been using this paprika app for yonks.. layout (older version) and cloud sync make the cooking-thing-from-recipe so easy..
Best app to store all my recipes in one place, and access them on all devices.
Loved it on my ipad, not on Chrome. Unusable and no support to help fix it.
This recipe manager does everything I need. Love it. Have it on 3 platforms!
Excellent program to "capture" recipes from all sources. Create your own "cookbook."
I work in the hospitality sector it's useful but you could use at home .....easy
I absolutely love everything about this app one question though can you share recipes with it?
Love this app and the ability to synch all devices
Great app. Works with family library
needs to update to v3 and sync with Mac version
Best recipe app on play store.
Edit: Just realized the calendar function is terrible. Renders it unusable! Downgraded to a 2 - I'm so disappointed! Original: I've been using this app for three years. Just switched from the iPhone to Pixel 3. I would have given this app 5 stars since I use it weekly but the Android version does have some really clear flaws in comparison to the iOS version. There's obvious screen sizing issues too. I also had to pay $5 again for an app that feels like a downgraded version. But I do have access to all my recipes so that's something. Hopefully the developers will show a little attention to the details on the Android side as they have with the iOS app.
