I like the idea. HOWEVER first I only started the tracker app beginning and ending the slopes. Sadly you earn badges for getting lifts.... So then I started the app in the morning to find out that the app paused and half of my performance was not captured. I missed so many badges I should have earned. And also the badges don't really make sense. More performance based badges makes more sense for me!
It is a good app keeps some good stats, the badges make for a good incentive to run around more. The only negative is that while I'm skiing and doing runs the activity tracker stops doesn't warn you and doesn't restart itself, so I have missed many fast runs trying to beat my max speed and also many runs that I've been done that it hasn't registered
As of December 2021 the app is useless. No way of buying a ski pass through the app, whether you already have a ski pass card or you got a new one.
App gives incorrect information. At the moment, it is telling me incorrect heights for most lifts (etc that vsnoise express runs from 1 2700m to 3000m (its flat sound 1600)) and whenever I click on a lift, it takes me to the wrong lift and shows me the wrong information. When I manage to find the lift that incorrectly links to the lift I'm interested in, even that Information is wrong. For example, vsnoise express, again, says it closes at 16:30, whereas the piste map says 16:20. Deleted!
Fun as well as being useful. Being able to see what lifts and runs are open, having the weather forecast, avalanche risk and webcams all on the one app is really handy. Not sure about the piste map though as it takes ages to load, so will still carry a paper one.
Completely inaccurate today for 3 phones out of 4.
To much non relevant stuff popping up everywhere why can't we just have an outing to choose what we see. can't even view the piste map without having to choose something the options choices bar is bigger than the map. Useless!!
Looks great but much off it doesn't work. No photos were there and the ski tracker thought we did 73.3 miles in a day. If they could get it to do what they say it would be a great app.
Good app, the badges and achievements are nice but i've noticed that stats often are bugged. Also when i'm supposed to earn a badge, it sometimes doesn't work.. But Yuge has great potential and i'm happy it exists! Good work bruvvas
The app functions...but is bizarrely designed. The orientation of the map is different from the official paper version map, and is ridiculously confusing with useless 3D pins obscuring the map image.
Execution is just poor. First of all the map feature is terrible. A list of lifts and slopes is not handy, and the map version doesnt show what is open and doesnt let you zoom out to provide an overview. The weather part is unintuitive and should just provide current weather and a forecast. Other things should come after this. Lastly the app isn't accurate in what slopes are open. On multiple occasions the slope I wished to ski turned out to be closed upon arrivel, contrary to what the app says
