I have extensive experience working in kitchens. I am now looking for a side job but all of my past employers have been very under the table, immigrant owned restaurants. I was frustrated to find that it is required to have two CELL PHONE references??? no landlines???? My employers have always operated with the landline of the restaurant. This app strikes me as a completely unrealistic understanding of the restaurant industry
Found out about this app today. Downloaded it and I can't get passed the first screen. Just continues to load after I sign up and doesn't do anything. Possibly a temporary issue that Pared is fixing but it's disappointing because this app is a great idea. I will continue to try logging in and hopefully the glitch is temporary.
App forces users to make factory installed messaging app your default messenger. I like most people uninstall factory apps and prefer more advanced fully developed messaging capabilities. Your service seems promising. Forcing a user to change their system settings is a very reliable way to drive away potential clients
I had my first gig and my experience was very positive. They give you the option to create your available schedule and that is very important I suppose. Very good communication between the support of Pared Pros
Over a week and the application is still "under review" without any communication from the app. It doesnt seem like this app is actually active and working, so I deleted it. Dont waste your time completing the application upon downloading, save yourself the time and use another job app.
Completed one gig. Everything was good. Waited a week. I scheduled another gig for the morning after. I then received a text asking me if I was sure I wanted to cancel my gig. I replied "no" "I didn't cancel it" But it was cancelled anyway. I didnt recieve an explanation or text back. Now I'm going to have a bad rating and I'm going to lose out on my shift for tomorrow morning. Sorry Pared, You've failed me and I had such high hopes
This application is complete garbage. Its not even good for finding jobs. I applied to plenty of positions on this application and not a single reply. It just takes you to the website of the OP who posted the add. This application does 🐎💩 to actually help. Craigslist & other sites i get replies. This application? You get no replies. They stopped updating this application. There are no more gig opportunities. Other applications have a lot of gigs. Don't waste your time downloading this 🐎💩
zero stars. had a friend that used to work with me fill out the reference questionnaire but I kept getting text messages saying that my references didnt fill out the questionnaires. I dont have time for this app and its glitches. I deleted the app. I'll use some other means to find a part time job.
After dealing with the bs for registering and trying to get a verfication code for my referrals im done. With no one contacting me back from pared. Do you really want to trust people you cant even get a hold of with your money or your bank account numbers? There process is flawed and have made no effort to justify or even explain it. Anybody that asks me about this app will be steered in a completely different direction . Thanks pared for nothing! Hope you get what you deserve
I wouldve given 5 stars except they are a bit too strict with their ap requirements . Confirm a gig, reconfirm a gig, checkin/out etc. Previously when you miss something and you get marked, then banned and very little support or interest in the individuals situation. But they seem to have had some revamp and some of these concerns such as the support staff has improved. Otherwise i love the gigs i get.
Dont get Support pissed. Last payment via debit card was on the 17th. Should have recieved a payment on 24th and due to recent circumstances spent that way.. waiting to go to a wake. Finally just sent me on a loop to their payment processors who cant do anything with me bc I dont have the co. payment account. At this point itll hit when it hits and I'll get there when I get there, overdrafts be damned.
So... I've had this app for like forever yet i work a full time job, I had some free time and picked up a gig, I'm sooooo glad I did. This is AMAZING!!!!! Such a GREAT experience and and because it was my first gig I was clueless, the people at Pared were soooo helpful and contacted me immediately to help. Love this app!!!!!!! Thank you Pared Pros!!!!! Does this app ever work? Can' t imagine ever getting work through it since I had to get tech support just to add 1 place of employment and not one of my 4 references could get it to work. It's a shame because it is a great idea just horrible execution!
Just worked my first gig, really good experience. Great for picking up a few extra shifts or to work in a new place while keeping my main line job.
I'm always offered jobs when I'm on the move,As if it can tell what I'm doing, but then if you accept a gig and you must go. And if you cancel you get banned for a week. You can't do two things at once sometimes- so to offer jobs when people are on the move, and expect them to get on time to a place is alot to ask, Especially since it also might throw off what they're already doing...
Haven't been able to use the app since it won't let me remove a reference. I have 2 and it won't let me remove the 3rd that I mistakenly added. No way to contact any type of customer support
I sent in my two required references and my application has been pending since 11/21/2019. There's no way to contact a customer support team (if they even have one) to resolve my issue.
Just trying to APPLY to this company was the most frustrating, nerve-wracking, experience EVER!!! First of all, one is forced to scroll through hundreds, maybe a thousand calender dates one month at a time, before arriving at one's birthdate, which then does NOT ENTER, forcing one to RE- scroll hundreds or a thousand times! Help texts are ignored, and even a cust service phone line(supposedly 24-7) goes unanswered. I would rather STARVE than work for this company, as I am a qualified, experienced
Maybe 1 gig a week pop up if you're lucky. I seems like NY restaurants are not using this app. Not a good way to make money that's for sure.
I have found there is a sort of discrimination in what rates is about. More men got better rates than women and believe also that more options too. Hope if I use it more frequent get to increase my options and payment rates too
The only description is retarded. I've been an Italian cuisine Chef since I was in high school. I was recommended by one of Pared's own employees of which whom I worked with with on four occasions. He referred them to me because of my professionalism, skills as a Chef, demeanor, work ethic, and ability to work as a team player. Lo and behold, my application gets denied. It's all good, I'm not the one losing out.
Thus far, I have had a lot of good and fun restaurants to work for and only one I will never click on to work there ever again. I really like and enjoy this app. The staff are top notch and they make you feel like family.
I did my first gig I honestly took a long time to get my first gig because they post it and then somebody takes it right away but honestly I did my first after two weeks was pretty cool I liked it and I wish that I can do more in the future.
I was looking for job starting december to February, i never get a message saying you're hire or do you have any experience... Now after covid 19 come to NYC I been received a lot email from different job and positions. (We're hiring apply now). 😠
Love using Pared. I just wish they had instant pay. They're the only platform that I use that doesn't offer it and it's one of the main reasons that I dont use them as often.
Good app and very easy to work with. Gigs are always available and a touch away. Highly recommend this app.
It works great so far. I get offers a few times a day. Soon to be paid out for jobs. It's great. The freedom to work when you want feels empowering.
This app is delusional. Before you sign up, they make it seem like you'll immediately get offers. Never any jobs. Whoever started this app was only in it for themselves because I have yet to see any jobs and positive reviews. Waste of time. Absolutely in my opinion, SCAM
Work my own schedule. The locations are nice and they have found great businesses to work with. Look forward to more gigs!
Had to contact support (which there is plenty of) about 9 times to get a couple references to get their link even sent to them, total 4 references. I also mentioned in the question "where I didn't want to work", and that was fast food. The only thing I've seen pop up is the same fast food place really far away. Plus, requested one of my verified positions to be added and they never added it even after speaking personally with customer service.
