Parent Cue

This app is really cool, and we need more things that assist parents and kids almost simultaneously. 5 stars because of that, and its bite-sized, to the heart messages from the Bible. It could definitely use just a little bit more variation in tone and theme for the advanced kids who may start to notice the theme song is almost as long as each segment. The simplicity is not really a problem, it'sfoundational. Recently had issues with it continuously starting mid video.. could be my device.

I've been using the app quite a few years. After not opening the app almost 2 months, I was unable to login and password reset on my original account didn't happen. I wasn't able to reset my password & had to create a new account with the same email I've always used for the app. Once I opened the app to sign in, it crashed. Each time I opened the app, it immediately continued to fail. I cleared cache, uninstalled & reinstalled. I get the login prompt again, finally....and it crashes still

The information is great and the app is mostly easy to use. I had a problem when trying to add a picture for my child though. If a picture was upright in my gallery, the app would turn it sideways. If it was sideways in my gallery, it wouldn't change in the app. Also, once a child is added, it won't change the profile picture upon 'editing' that child's profile. Please fix this, I was prepared to give a 5 star rating if not for that.

EDIT - A rep reached out to me (! Yay good customer service!) and gave me something to try to get the app working again and it worked! My kids are so happy to have the app again. Thank you! Original review- I loved this app! But after the last update in December, it will not open. As soon as I try to open it, it crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've rebooted my phone and anything else I can think of but nothing works. My two girls and I miss this app :(.

Really love the idea and goals of the app. It has promise! However, on most screens the text is chopped off on both sides of the screen. We can only access the plan for only one child - nothing comes up when another child's name is selected.

App used to work great. Now half the words are cut off, and the preschool video hasn't changed. My kids want to watch Ollie, but it has been the same video for a month. Uninstalled and re-installed. Didn't fix anything.

Great stories and videos. Just wish that maybe there was an option for kids where they can look up verses for certain emotions like anger, selfishness, joy, kindness etc. Even short true stories to accompany the verse. Also a daily devo would've great instead of a weekly one. Christian Music option would be good too.

It's nice to have a weekly reminder in such a rushed and chaotic world, to focus time on reinforcing faith in our kids. It also gives you a great outline on what they're already learning in church. Its foolproof. I love it!

I am so frustrated with the fact that when you have to add a child after the initial set up, you can't get back to the rest of the program. It asks you to save the new child info, but after you save there is no way to keep what you just put in and get on with the program. The only other option is cancel, which cancels the child you wanted to add. So stupid. So there is no way to add additional children.

This app hasn't been working at all. I try to go on and it keeps saying the app wo t respond. I thought maybe after the recent update things would change but it's still not working. I've updated on my end, so not sure what the issue it :(

I love spending time with my daughters to watch these videos and read the bible verses. This is really helpful for our weekly devotions and my daughter's enjoy the stories! I also like the countdown, it helps to our things into perspective because we really have such a limited time with our children. I recommend this app to all parents with school aged children.

please help! ive been trying to create an account and once i get to thr verify your email step, the email never comes snd i csnt move forward. ive checked my junk folder, clicked to resend the email, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still won't work 😞

Loved it. Haven't used in a while though. I'm trying to get back into my account to add another device. I tried reset password link, and it crashes. I've uninstalled then re app. That did not help. Please advise. Is there anyway I can have a reset link sent to my email from help desk without going through the app?

I'm glad they fixed some of the video playback issues, but now the videos don't show at all for me. The description is there but nothing to click. Essential PH-1 on Android Pie.

This app is grear! My kids love the videos on here and are able to answer questions about them. They also memorize the Bible verse given for each month. I also love that it connects with what they are learning at church.

Great app when I remember to use it. Does this have a weekly reminder? Maybe add a tracker to set goals for events and family time, or when a new thing might be coming. I was hoping this would give me more cues.

The app is useful and it provides great articles to read. The encouragement and short activities have helped me a lot with having more intentional conversations with my kids. Thanks for the support.

I like the app concept and content. my problem is the videos don't work. They stop every few seconds as if it is taking time to buffer.

Very informational and I have a better understanding that every year as my child gets older, a different milestone arises and it prepares me for whatever approaches. I wish I would've known about this when he was an infant.. Like someone mentioned in the meeting, "Parenting Doesn't Come With An Instruction Manual". It's an everyday learning experience. I'm so glad I participated in this parent conference.

I loved this app. Not another app to clutter your day with busy routines and high demands. It has simple inspiring statements that helps you bond with your child in a very easy way. No high demand. Simple and sweet.

The video/message has been the same for months, for my kids. I've uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times, with no sucesssful updates. We've loved the series- but now no new content.

Cannot get past the login screen. Always closes out. Would love to be able to use the app for our family but can't. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Nothing works.

Really love how this app offers realistic expectation advice with how you can raise a family. I have only been using it for a month and I already feel at ease with raising my children and homeschooling them. Those bits of information that pop up on my phone come right on time...I look forward to Parent Cue notifications!!!

I really like the content! I don't like how after an episode though, it takes you into YouTube instead of back to the app... i have little kids watching and don't like how it brings up all sorts of videos from youtube

Love having a convenient resource (all the planning/prepping is done for you!) that helps teach, discuss, and reinforce biblical truths to little ones throughout the week. Bonus that it lines up exactly with our church's Sunday School curriculum. Thank you, Parent Cue!
