I downloaded unglue about two weeks ago. Somehow my samsung phone and my daughter's ipad was never able to be paired up so we never got a chance to try it. I emailed unglue support three times over the past two weeks and never heard back from anyone. And now the trial period is over. Very frustrated experience. Can't believe unglue has virtually no support to its customers. -Cindy
Very US-focused. I had to look up US-UK-equivalent school grades and cannot set the time zone to my local one. Also it doesn't seem possible to set times when devices cannot be used e.g. after 7pm. This would be essential for screen time control. I like the principle of this app, just not sure it's ready yet.
This app is pretty awesome! Definitely what I've been looking for! My daughter has started engaging in family time more now. The reason for only 3 stars is because 2 times now that my daughter has traveled 50 miles from home for a school event, the app has stopped working. I get a notification that she has disabled the app, even though she hasn't. Maybe I'm doing something wrong on my end?
Love the concept, however, it doesn't always work. Some of my son's apps on his Android device aren't recognized as 'entertainment' so he could play as long as he wanted after his time limit, they would only disable once his wifi shut off. And some apps, such as Netflix and YouTube, would continue playing, support said this was due to the videos being loaded minutes in advance. It also doesn't say the Android version is much more expensive at $11.00/month.
After spending 30 minutes setting the app up on my kids' two ipads, it appeared to function for about one day. I say "appeared" to function, because it accurately tracked time but did not stop internet service after their time was up. The next day one ipad could not access internet because it could not connect to UG's VPN. The in-app troubleshooting instructions blamed this on my child, saying they probably disabled VPN, which was completely false. And the next day the same thing happened to the other ipad. Even if UnGlue worked perfectly, I am not sure I would use it. The $5/month subscription fee seems steep for this service.
Installed several times waisted loads of time. Can't sign into parent app with no other options to try and resolve in the page. It's at the end after you have waisted all your time. Tried it apple to apple. Apple to android same on both
After paying for the app for a year, I go to set it up, and if gives me an error message. 4 messages sent, 0 responses received back. It's currently useless and I'm out a hundred bucks.
I am not happy because on the last step it loads for awhile and then it says it can't create my account and says try again later. So I tried the next night and same thing. Maybe it because I have an Android but I don't know. And it only has 2 stars so maybe it just the app.
Downloaded it but could never get it to load past the initial 'create password' screen. Great idea and much needed but this app is useless until bugs are fixed.
Worst bleeping app ever! I deleted the adult app and the kids profile and the kids app won't remove itself! Customer service never responded and I tried everything but had to reset my phone (I put both apps on it to see if I could limit my screeb time etc. even though I have no kids.) and spend 3+ hours resolving the issue!
Could not even create my account so after downloading the app from my desktop, I uninstalled it. Then I read the reviews here in playstore on my phone... Feeling grateful the app could not create my account. Whew!
Great concept but the company needs to fix the home monitor to work with IPv6.. Doesnt work with Xbox as advertised..
Doesn't work! Last step loaded for a long time and then says unable to make account- no explanation. Very frustrating!
I changed my phone and I was unable to sign up with my account. I had to uninstall the app.
I was so excited about this app according to what I read it should be just the app I have been looking for but I couldn't connect the app to my kids phones 😭😭😭
It's been ok but I'm constantly being automatically signed out and can't sign back in.

It doesn't work for me. It doesn't allow me to creat a password at first place.
I have a 3 year old who would totally ignore me while on the tablet or phone. Day 1 his first chores were to help me bag his clothes for laundry, shower before bedtime without a fitand then brushing his teeth. He knows when blue turns gray then time is up. LOOOOVE IT!
Like everyone up in here, can't get past the creation not password
I like the idea. But for some reason it banked each of my kids 3 hours for no reason. And I cant remove the time it banked?
Won't create account, no reason why. Not worth the time to figure out.

Waste of time and money...not worth it.
Worked initially during the trial period. We decided to start a subscription, but it got locked in the trial version even though I was charged fur a subscription. Contacted tech support several times, no response. Also, the app started monitoring sporadically. We really liked the concept and what it promised, and when it worked, it was everything we expected, but the inconsistent execution doesn't live up to paying $13 a month. Big bummer.
