I came across this app when looking at transport options for my city break. It was free to use. The app was really useful in that it gave you the direction of travel. Which as you will find out in Paris it's very confusing especially at stops with multiple lines. Really useful highly recommend
This app saved our trip to Paris because it allowed me to set up travel plans to tourist sites and saved them as Favorites, so each day we had a different itinerary that I picked from my list. It shows which car to sit in for the easiest transfer. It shows station to station train connections, and at the end of the day I tapped the reverse arrow and it showed me the correct trains to catch back home. (They aren't necessarily the reverse order of the outbound trip; I didn't see that coming.)
Pretty stupid and not UX-designed. Why? Because when you selected station FROM on the map you can NOT select a station TO on the map - only type and choose from the list. Tourists don't know the station names, but they know the area they plan to go. Why not let them choose station FROM and then station TO on the map? Look for MosMetro application - it's made much more correctly and UX-friendly.
i can't get beyond the intro screen where you chose paid or free version. the text at the bottom is cut off so there is no way to make a selection and actually use the app. i tried rotating the screen and i can't find a way to get beyond the intro screens. very disappointing and frustrating
Excellent app with all what required info simply provided & works offline. Came in very handy. Only improvement I see is in planned route, the map page to be able to move to see full metro map, currently only able to see the planned stations.
This app is utterly worthless. Unless I'm totally screwing up, you can't do route planning by putting in the address of your destination. It appears you need to know the name of the stop you want. If I knew that, I wouldn't need the app.
Really helpful! You can use it even with no internet connection. Gives you detailed information about all stations and train lines.
Full of adverts. No indications of platform, or other basic details other train apps have in less developed nations around the globe.
I just wanted to look at the metro map, not have to state whether I want what sort of advertisements I want to watch.
I haven't been in Paris yet, but I feel like I know the city underground thanks to this app. I know I will travel around the city with confidence.
Great app! the route planner is really helpful especially for someone that knows nothing about Paris! Totalky recommended
Helped a lot while our travel. Language was the biggest problem but this helped us well.
Google map is better! this app is redundant and not able to search for a place
My UK number stopped functioning in France. This app was a lifesaver providing offline metro navigation that I could bank on.
non-functional. asks some questions, won't allow to go further, won't accept Android home and sleep buttons
Not helpful, too many advertising unexpectedly appear and not allow you to use app
disruptive ads keep u from seeing what u need. better info from Google maps.
Works adequately, but not nearly as useful a tool as Citymapper.
Metro map has search facility. Easy to search any places.
Uses battery constantly even when haven't opened it in two months... uninstalling
Useless map with ads. Get the Bonjour RATP app for the real deal.
Can't get beyond intro screen - try swiping it and nothing happens
Got me exactly where I needed to be.would be good to list what zones stations are in though.
keeps crashing all the time...otherwise pretty handy
not for note 8. gets stuck on the intro screen
Metro doesn't work. No info in the app
Amazing app!! Makes transiting throughout Paris a piece of cake.
Almost gets the job done. This is an excellent app if you only plan to use the Metro/RER within Paris proper. I installed the app as it is promoted as the official RATP app. however, it does not include bus lines and any trains outside of Paris are incomplete. As a result connecting bus lines to trains could not be determined and because most of our time was spent outside the coverage area any sort of route planning was incomplete as the nearest RER stations were available in the app.
