This app's sole benefit is avoiding the payboxes. In all other respects its not good. Outrageous transaction fees. Tries to force you to deposit money so they can earn interest on float. Sometimes end of parking notification works, sometimes it doesn't. Can get ticketed even after paying through app due to slow data transfer.
Poorly developed APP. Got a new phone so try to set up but does not recognize the pin, then try to reset pin and states that the phone has no internet connection, which is not true as I to uninstalled/install a couple of times. Able to log in into my account on the web... Checked FAQ for solutions and asked to contact support but has no contact info to do so neither APP or web. Phone: Motorola ONE Zoom running Android PIE
I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S9, and now I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app every time I use it. If I fail to do so, the app starts to open and then just freezes indefinitely. Since I still have funds in my Park Evanston wallet, I have to keep using it for now. This app stinks.
Feels half cooked, but works. It claims no service fees, but charges convenience fees. Bug, I hope. If you paid at the station, and add time with app, it erases time left from the first payment.
Easy way to pay for parking. App messaging about parking regulations is poor. App will tell you that you are in violation when you are just parking outside the time you need to pay for parking. This leads you to the conclusion that you will be ticketed when the reality is that parking is free at the time. The Park Chicago app has this figured out correctly, Park Evanston should do the same.
Too difficult to make app work on a different phone when you already have an account. Also requires a Parking Zone Code which is not available when this is being done somewhere else.
App update has made this app unworkable. Back to quarters. It's now 2/22/20 & the app still doesn't work. Wonder how I get the $ stored in the online "wallet" back, or does this mean the app owner gets to keep my $ for a dysfunctional app. Beware if you are thinking of loading this app.
it went straight into 2 hours, and I had no way of changing it back to the 20 minutes i actually wanted. very frustrating!!!
I can't use this app any longer because I forgot my pin and the credit card listed is an old one so I can't update it rendering it absolutely useless! Need to be able to update credit card first then update pin.
Download twice. When app opened all I got was a sound and a big 'P' on my phone. No way to get support via website on my laptop.
The app is fine. I deleted it after I signed in and on top of wanting $4 to park I was going to be charged an additional 35¢ convenience fee. Nope
update, app used to honk to notify session is about to expire, got a ticket. 2 hours later, i got notification but well after it ended?! //will charge 35cent fee, even for 15 minute stay
Everytime I need to park, I have to uninstall and reinstall this app. Even got a parking ticket in the middle of this process. Awful!
tried to register by text, voice, and email. none of the three worked! Also don't nag me to rate your app!
App not working and will not open! I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still will not open! I need to pay for parking. PLEASE FIX!

Very convenient when I have to stay more than 4 hours at the library. No need to go outside to feed the parking meter.

Parking is more expensive and more annoying with the stupid app. Totally pointless. Jist a money grab by Evanston. Absolute scum local government nickel and diming the citezins with service fees and other BS just to park.

Had a major issue with billing that was resolved in about an hour thanks to the intervention of the app developer.
Works well and is an easy and simple interface.
It is do nice to be able to manage the parking payment from the comfort of my car.
Pretty easy to use, relatively cheap parking.
I generally enjoy the convenience of parking apps like this. Unfortunately, apps like this sometimes get buggy and continue sending expiration reminders long after I have left the area. That is enough to downgrade one star. Adding insult to injury, I have tried to report the bug five times and repeatedly told that the bug report failed and that I should try again later. That just lost them another star.
