App works great! I don't understand complaints about uploading pictures to the app? The reviewer wants to be "discrete" by uploading pictures from outside of the app. I just mill around the parking space as if waiting to meet someone while idly texting on my phone and snap the three pictures. How more discrete do you need to be? There is no way anyone can guess what you are doing with the phone.
I took photos then drove away to fill out the infraction because the driver was still in the car, the passenger got out and went inside the store. Little did I know, you have to take the photos from inside the app. They can't be uploaded from my photo gallery. I see so many instances where this is the case. I don't want the occupants of the car to see me. It would be really nice if I could upload pics. The app is great with this one exception. Only giving 3 stars because it didn't work the way I expected it to.
There's no option to upload photo. App requires you to take photo within the app. This is a problem if you're trying to be dicreet. Also, taking a photo of the front and back could potentially be unsafe or impossible for someone in a wheelchair, as space isn't always available all the way around the spot.
The concept of this app is great but as someone who is in a wheelchair it is not practical. Theres many times where I don't have physical access to be able to take a picture of the windshield. Because of this I have never been able to report the MANY violations I've seen. It's also a pain that I can't quick snap pictures and upload them afterwards.
This application is invaluable to assist those with handicap problems. This app. lets those who undergo a four hour on-line class to identify cars that are in violation of the accessible parking laws (ADA) and have a ticket issued to the violator. I have had great success in the area which I frequent for my shopping with a very noticeable reduction in violations, which I believe is a result of having had the violators ticketed and fined for violating these important laws. App is easy to obtain, easy to learn and has been very successful in my life.
Exasperated last week "circling" for an open accecible parking space at a Walmart, I stopped at a flagrant violation, got out, checked for any inside placard, took a rear pic (with blue lines, sign AND license plate clearly visible.), got back in my car, drove away and posted it on Google maps like I've done WAY too many times before. 🙄 All I got was some notification a few days later that about 100 people had viewed the post. Did some googlin' figurin' "there must be an app." Givin' it a try.
I can't wait to get started. First up, there's a young able-bodied person with no placards or plates that repeatedly parks in our only handicap spot near the office on my apartment complex. I literally just came from the parking lot where there were TEN spots open, but he chose to be a jerkface McGillicuddy. Please, park in a spot and walk. Think about those of us that can't. I've even parked 4 or 5 buildings away if it was my last resort. Just be a better person
Won't bother telling you if the ticket will be enforced (or seen at all) until you submit, absolutely no point wasting my time when literally nothing happens to the violator. An active service map would encourage people to actually use the app if they know they are actually making a difference, otherwise this is just bloatware that gets users to do all their legwork instead of having their own staff figure out how to use google maps. Great concept, godawful execution. Better luck next time!
Terrible support team won't do their job. Can't upload your own nor retrieve images from their app. Can't use the images to file your own local report when the high & mighty superiority complex issued support staff won't when all the work does meet the criteria in their How to Report Instructions. If they won't do their job then individuals should be able to access the images & report they worked getting & submitting so they can submit it to their local law enforcement. Terrible people, terrible support - or lack thereof - from this app. Too bad, it was a good idea if it just was in better hands & more local.
Did exactly what the app told me to do to see if action will be taken on a constant violator at work who always parks with no placard or plate. and yes, I used the app and took photos exactly as instructed. Apparently no ticket has been issued to him since he keeps doing it. UNINSTTALLING
I've installed your app 3 different times now on my phone witch is a galaxy A20 but unable to get the app to launch or do anything, I've read and tried everything I can find to solve the problem till I'm to the point I've become sick of trying.
User app is not friendly and help is not disability friendly. Suggested change to make it more disability friendly was told was unacceptable. Group does not actually support the disabled in all ways. Waste of time.
Yes, yes, yes!!! I have used this to report so many people who have blocked me in, parked in THE ONLY handicap accessible parking space without a placard, parked in the hashed lines, or any number of infractions. One lady got a ticket from my report while I was in the store. She had literally cursed me out in front of my baby grand-littles because I asked her to move out of the hash marks so that I could get my wheelchair out! Use this App!!!
email verification never comes . so useless because you are unable to take pics and send. waste of precious time. Trash app !
turned in tons of violations only to discover not a single person got a ticket. turns out they do not work with any cities in my state (florida) uninstalled the app !
You need to be able to upload images instead of having to take them on the spot. I have a violator I need to submit but can't because the app won't let me upload the pictures I have.
I think a lot of people misunderstand how the app works. it's for reporting violators. the more reports they get allows them to work with the local law enforcement to work with the app to issue fines. so there is no guarantee that the person you report will get a fine. but by reporting them you are helping your local county/state/city become aware of heavy unchecked violations. so it leads to them working with the app to than begin issuing fines. or classes
Used this about a half hour after I installed it. Seems to work well. Haven't seen any updates for the spots I have ID'ed yet.
App needs too much information to report a violation. If a violator is standing around because they know that they will have their picture taken, taking three pictures is extremely difficult. Plus, you never find out what the outcome is of your reported violation.
I finally have a source to prove my point .... Handicap parking is essential only for those of us who can no longer keep pace with the world. So many times I wanted to shame regular people for parking in these designated spots. I will NOT go quietly when I see an injustice occur! From your phone local MS warrior.
Excellent idea, badly needed in our society. Only problem is the map refused to load so I was unable to complete a single report.
It won't let me do anything because I can't get the verification email. And no it's not in my spam folder.
Seems to be a well thought out app very helpful in capturing people that do not know how to respect the rules by leaving handicap spaces for those who have legal right to use them.
I agree with 2 last reviews. I was expecting better and people continue to get away with it just because the pictures have to be taken through the app. Sometimes for security reasons, time, or Internet issues we aren't able to take them directly form the app, so we use our phone camera. What else do you need when you have the pictures that says more than words!
