Got 3 tickets even though I had made payment for parking. There is definitely something wrong with the system right now. I never had the issue few months back. Even the traffic officer was surprised when I had showed him I had paid for parking. He said it didn't showed up in his device. May be 1 time could be error, but 3 times in 2 months. Even thought I can dismiss my tickets by disputing it and sending them details. But it doesn't make sense using app if I have to go through all diz troubles.

Brooklyn meter only accepted coins, credit cards, or this app. I had no coins on me so I chose my credit card only it did not go through. This app was the last resort. Downloaded it and found out I had to preload $25 into wallet when the parking is only $4! Ridiculous! Unfortunately, there was no other parking in the area so I had no choice. I will not be going to NYC anytime soon and requested the refund which I finally received 5 months later!

NYC, FIX YOUR APP AND YOUR MUNI-METERS!!! I was using this app 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes more. Suddenly January 2022, it stopped working. I looked to see if there was an update, but there is not. I need my app due to the very poor state of many of the MuniMeters; does not take coins, does not take credit cards. Now I'm running up & down the street trying to find a working machine while risking a meter checker giving me a ticket BECAUSE NYC DOESN'T PROPERLY MAINTAIN THEIR MUNI-METERS!

It is a good app, but if one has multiple vehicles or is using a temporary one and accidentally choose your default vehicle, you either have to pay twice or you are screwed. There needs to be an option that allows either your customer service representatives to fix a plate change or allow the customer to do so within a 1-2 minute window. No one likes paying twice or having to wait 30 minutes to pay again for a zoned meter. Please fix it.

"Reset Password" is a joke. You get the link sent to your email/phone and it asks you to fill out the parking zone. There is nothing that allows you to reset your password. (Which I can't remember. I've tried every possible password I use. None works.) Password reset should be the easiest thing on the planet for a coder to set up. What's wrong with you people?

Good concept but it is unreliable. The problem is that it doesn't always connect. Support suggested uninstall/re-install: did not work. On one occasion, I checked that the app was working before I left home. When I parked, it showed the proper location but would not complete the transaction. I left the car and went into the restaurant and continued to try to complete the transaction. I eventually gave up. I got a 65dollar ticket stamped while trying.

At first, the app was very convenient if you only stay for the allowed time but you can't ever extend your time so it kind of defeats the purpose. If you pay at the muni meter, you could reload all day. Recently, the app has been crashing constantly, takes forever to load or logs me out having to keep signing back in. There are times it never loads and then I have to pay at the meter because no one has time to be resetting their phone in hopes that works.

When the app works it's very helpful. However, I have had to uninstall and reinstall this app on two different phones several times over. It works great for about two weeks and then it stops loading. It's the same problem every time. It's a convenient way to park around the city which is why I have installed it time and time again (and it's free)... but honestly, it's a pain when it stops working.

This app is full of bugs. If NYC parking is killing the prepaid parking cards then they need to release a fully working app. After the initial install it wouldn't let me add time to a zone after the time expired. Then, after logging me out it refuses to move past the loading screen at sign in. I've had to run up to a computer to sign in through a PC before being able to add time to my vehicle. It's ridiculously inefficient at doing one thing!

Such a great and convenient tool!!! ..... But it stopped working... things started falling apart when it would not let me extend my time (even though parking rules where I parked allowed for more time) and it stopped recognizing the zones I entered. Then came the constant error messages regarding "connection", "loading", etc. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. Come on NYC! Update this app since you haven't since 2017!

Highly disappointed recently. For most part, I was initially satisfied. However, I recently had a billing issue and faced the labyrinth that is customer service. FAQs says you can resolve billing issues through the app (where?), or contact 311. Call the general number and get a voice system that directs to press 5 for more options, except it's an invalid entry. No contact box on the webpage or other alternatives to reach out. Basically, my card was charged but my account was not refilled. Beware

I HATE THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!! Using it on an up-to-date Pixel 2. It always works once, and then can not load past the login screen. Need to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work again. Super annoying, waste of time, complete piece of garbage app. The only reason it's still around is because its the only app for NYC parking.

The first $50 worth of parking was great! Very convenient, especially if you saved the meter number you constantly use. Not being able to replenish after time allotted on specific side (max 1 hour parking) absolutely annoying!!!!!! Understandable but still annoying! Now the app just shuts down on me!!!!! I even tried it in my home with my WiFi and it didn't work!!!!!!😡😡😡

What an awesome app! Had it worked. But since it doesn't, it's really really bad. Keeps on crashing, reconnecting, sluggish, outdated, payment failure, & what not. Everything a bad app has & does. & No wonder, if last update in 2017. C'mon, we're not there, the world (& OS's) are moving forward & being updated.. so much for service from a city contractor..

Another example of wasted taxpayer dollars. This app only works about 1/4 of the time. The other times I need to hard restart my phone to get it to load. Even when you do get it to somehow load, it is buggy and the user experience to change cars or other perform other simple tasks is atrocious. The only save and grace is that as far as technical implementations from the city transit organizations go, at least this one takes my credit card info.

In its current state, the app on unusable. This app is in dire need of an update to resolve the constant communication errors being thrown - which is occurring at a much higher rate recently. Better off using the ParkNYC website. As for usage, upon expiration, there is a 30min cooldown before you are allowed to refill or extend the meter even if you don't max out the meter.

It says to have a password of 8-20 characters, a capital letter, a lower case letter, a number and a symbol, I did ALL of those things and it is stuck saying "invalid password" Tried to add time to my parking, on the 4th try it worked, but I had to close the app and reopen it to refresh it lots of times before I could see that the time changed. It kept closing on its own, on my Samsung Galaxy s9... Every time I click the app, it never saves my login, the fields are empty, then it looks like it glitches, and I'm in. Doesn't feel very safe for something that contains my card info... This app needs to be fixed now!

I used this app when it first came out on an iPhone. As expected, there were some issues and bugs to sort out. So I never really thought too much of it. Finally it started working. I used it until I changed my phone. Now I have an android, and I keep getting the error the app is older and my phone wont support it! Yet there isn't an app for android! Annoying!

When I first started using the app it would notify me 15 minutes before the meter is up now it doesn't do that it only notify me via email which my notifications are off for or it will notify me days, weeks or months later when I happen to open up the app again. I just have to set an alarm as a reminder now. And also it only allows you to park for 1 session at a time which is annoying when you're at work or a doctor's appointment where you spending over an hour or 2

This app is terrible. Pro: you can park without having to carry change, your history is saved in one place should u need a reference. The con is that u need a minimum of 25 dollars. Why? I feel that I should be able to set me own limits on how much I wish to contribute to parking meters. Also the min amount that you can submit is 50 cents. If I used a quarter I would get my time and save some change. NY is expensive enough the last thing one needs if for a app to take advantage of you.

App is OK, issue is backend capacity. For the first year that I had it installed, I don't remember one failure. For the last 3 months or so, there are failures to connect, failures to pay, etc. Fix backend capacity please. There are not many pleasant aspects about city parking. This app made it a civilized process for a while.

The app frequently doesn't load. When a meter is good for more than one hour, the app doesn't let you pay for more than one hour. I hate that it has to re-load by $25 at a time to keep in a wallet. It should be pay per use like ParkMobile in other cities. When my wallet balance goes to zero, I will uninstall and pay at meters directly.

I am a long time user of this app and have even reccomended it. When I got a ticket the company let me down. When a parking session begins it starts counting down meter time. I made a purchase and saw the countdown begin and I still got a ticket. When I called and told them I would like reimbursement for the ticket (credit would have been fine), they said no, that there was no record of the purchase. I will be deleting this app and telling my friends to do the same.

I loved this app for it's convenience. I explored the "where's my car" feature to determine where the closest meter was in relation to where I was parked. It indicated the wrong meter numbers and, though I paid the city for a park, I got a ticket because the numbers were wrong. I took screen shots of the view from the app of the closest meter, and even showed payment for the park. When I presented all of my evidence this was the verdict: "Even if true, this is not a basis for relief and does not excuse the violation. There is no such exception to the regulation." What infuriates me is the meter maid noted that my park was paid for, but in a wrong zone. So be warned, physically walk to the meter don't rely on the app for accuracy. It's unfortunate because I was very happy until this.

This app has a lot of problems and short comings considering this is to pay for metered parking in NYC. It won't let you park beyond 1 session, even if you only parked for 10 min). Then it will allow only 5 favorite areas. There are the many communication errors that prevent people from signing in. They need to make some serious changes before I'll give it even 3 stars. Pretty disappointing if you ask me.

It stopped working. This app used to be so convenient, you didn't have to leave your car just to discover that the park meter machine isn't working. It was all rainbows and unicorns until about 2-3 weeks ago where it suddenly started shutting down as soon as you enter the parking code. I restarted it, reinstalled it and nothing. RIP convenience. Welcome back standing in the rain waiting for the machine to authorize my CC payment.

Before this weekend problem with this app, I'd have rated it 5-star. Unfortunately, the app skips the vehicle selection screen, unknowingly to user, the app selected my recent sold vehicle, enable my payment. I walked away confidently that I've paid. Upon returning, I found a ticket for non payment. Sure, I'd paid for the sold vehicle! Soooooo disappointed!

I used to love this app. Now it just won't work!! I used it all the time and for the last few months I enter the zone and it just says park NYC app has stopped. I'm so annoyed. I have money in the wallet and I can't use it. I've deleted and reloaded the app and it still happens. Please fix this!!! Its terribly annoying. It worked so well previously and now it stinks.

Technical difficulties every single time. The news reported that it had been fixed but today it is still a major challenge to extend the time . Keep getting messages such as "can't park beyond maximum time" and "zone not found " besides app taking forever to upload. Watching that I don't get a ticket while trying to pay for another hour, been attempting to pay for the last 15 minutes.... great concept but the app sucks

App is terrible. Hasn't worked in months. Crashes every time. "PARK NYC has stopped" and "PARK NYC stopped working" pop up each time. Uninstalling and reinstalling have no effect. Customer service is useless. They never heard of this before. If zero stars was an option that would be its rating.
