I work downtown & pay for on-street metered parking on a daily basis. The existence of the app makes paying for parking much easier, but the most recent update removed the ability to pay parking tickets in-app. Finding the link in the app to pay a ticket was needlessly difficult, & the link led to an external site where I had to search my license plate & enter my credit card/billing info all over again. In previous versions, this was all quickly & easily done in-app with info on file. NOT HAPPY.
This app was perfectly fine before this latest update. It crashes constantly and it's not user friendly. The new sliding scale to choose the time is really a hassle and makes the previous process of quickly paying a chore. I park on the street daily and received a citation because the app crashed at the payment screen and I went to plug all my information in again and it said a session was already in progress, but it must have been a glitch with this clunky update because I got a ticket anyway.
terrible app. constant notifications. i literally uninstall it after each use. Update 7/10/20: this is literally the most garbage app I've ever used and you have no choice since they monopolize parking. The parking spots don't come up in the app when you try to type. I had to scroll the available spots for 3 minutes to find my spot number. Absolute trash app.
this app is easy to use, very helpful, and it seems they thought of everything I have ever needed concerning parking. there is even a way to have a business validate the spot you paid for if so needed. I am going to have to check parking apps for other cities, hopefully they are as easy to use and as functional as this one.
Convenient. Easy to use. Unable to add time after initial purchase of time expires. Major bummer. Update... I'm now super annoyed by the inability to add time (can't do it with the 'Add Time' feature or after time has expired).
I assumed this app would have a map of available parking, or even just ParkOmaha parking areas. Silly me. This app us very obviously designed for people who are downtown every day, not visitors.
This app was extremely easy to use, until a recent update made it almost unusable to the point i received a citation. It was a warning citation, but really a warning that you have to take a really good look at the app before closing your phone
with the switch to the new app I was a bit confused as I had money in my app wallet from the old app and it didn't show up in my new account. I got a hold of tech support through the website chat and they were very helpful and I got my wallet balance reconnected to my account. Great Service!
It wont allow me to login at all anymore. My car was being repaired. I hadn't used the app for a while. I try to go to the app today. App asks for my telephone number or email. It then tells me neither is valid. I had to call my son to download the app on his phone and set up a new account so I could pay the meter.
App works about 50% of the time since summer 2019 update. Half the time gets hung up on zone selection and will not select a space. Previously worked flawlessly.
ParkOmaha is really easy and convenient to use. On top of that, I haven't had any experiences where it hasn't worked correctly when paying for my parking zone- and I've been using it for over a year now!
this app has costed me more money than I can even recall - from connectivity issues to slow processing times this app is barely functional. do better Omaha.
Does this even work? I installed it today and picked my spot, signed in and entered my credit card info, and paid for a full day parking at a meter.. Even now the app says I have almost 2 hours left, however I just went to my vehicle and the meter is blinking expired.
App is not made to support the user. Only for taking payment. It succeeds in the simplest terms.
easy peasy. no worry about plugging meter thru day or having quarters on hand. pay for just the hours you need and if you need more time just extend your time from right where you are sitting. highly recommend and very user friendly.
Hot garbage. It won't even send you a validation text. Multiple meters the card reader broken. What a waste of time.
Last update makes it unusable. It crashes every time you enter the space #. Was fine, now frustrating.
Easy to use and allows me to pay for parking in Omaha, and it convenient fashion, and lets me know when my time is about to run out so I can refill it from my phone.
I live that i never have to have change on me. This app makes parking quick and easy. Best idea ever!
I was so very nervous to start paying this way but it is wonderful not having to make sure I have change everytime I go downtown!!
god awful app, I had to download just to park one time and be told parking was free on Sunday. could have just put that on the machine.
Updated the app today and now it doesn't work at all. I can't sign in. it tells me that action isn't available.
I like the countdown so you know exactly how much time you got left and easy to recharge if you need to.
Simple to use but the parking meter continues to flash expired. How is that going to stop me from getting a ticket?
YOU CANNOT RENEW YOUR METER FROM THE APP. Omaha Saturday night. Restaurants have 45-60min wait for a table. You are limited to two hours at the meter. YOU CANNOT RENEW YOUR METER FROM THE APP.
I haven't had any issues with the app. It's super convenient and I wish I had downloaded it sooner
I am able to select zone but not parking space. Not working at all atm.
simple to use app. makes paying meter easy and convenient!
App is alright but has 1 major flaw (as far as my experience goes). You can't buy time in segments. You can either buy per hour, or not at all. Beats the purpose of having a handy app if I have to pull out coins to get time increments not as large as an hour. Seriously, I want to pay for halves or something, I don't want to buy a whole nother hour when im on going to use 9 minutes of it!
