Booked parking for concert. Got email to create account, password. Tried many times to do a password(s) with 8 characters, upper/lowercase letters, one symbol,one number. App gave messages: "Password must be 8 characters" and "Weird that didn't work...try again?". No guidelines as to what PW characters are allowed. Tried website to create PW. Pulled it up, it says I'm signed in! Don't know my PW. Tried many times, ParkWhiz App, Website never said "Account Created".
STAY AWAY! This week and last week I paid for parking in advance, arrived at a garage in New York City and was refused a space because the garage was full. How could that be? The garage said sorry, go online and ask 4 a refund. --- The service is not reliable and cannot be counted on. Do not use. You would think that a garage would be required to save your space, but clearly that is not the reality.
I booked in Manhattan for a meeting. When I arrived at the lot on time, I was told they were full and that I should get a refund from Park Whiz and leave. I found street parking, paid at the meter, and arrived late for the meeting which was not okay. I returned to a ticket on my car. Apparently, there was a "NYC Special Construction Restriction" in place although there weren't signs indicating that. What would be the reason to give Park Whiz another chance?
This app was very helpful and made my parking experience very convenient and easy. I even appreciated the verification of my parking arrival and if I needed any assistance. Great customer support. Thank you for a great app.
app very easy to use BUT ... some of the booking sites do not clearly state if you have reentry privileges. one site stated no reentry so i booked a different one that did not have a "no reentry" warning. unfortunately this one also had no reentry so i wasted around$50. and had to pay for 2 additional days of parking. too late i figured out there is a blanket warning in the faq's
I got to the Fillmore in Charlotte, NC and there was no attendant to speak to or nothing to scan the confirmation I was given. Just a sign at the head of each parking place with a number to text and a parking place number to enter along with your license plate number to PAY FOR PARKING THAT THIS APP TOLD ME IT WOULD DO AND THAT I HAD SUPPOSEDLY ALREADY PAID FOR HERE. This app does nothing for you but take your money.
It didn't work in the Boston parking garage I went. I needed an attendant's help to leave the garage because it wouldn't scan. I couldn't get the ap working underground (no signal). I didn't get the rate the ap said I would. I prepaid $17 and then paid $25 at tje garage.
I tried using this app after pre paying for parking at The Wynwwod Walls in Miami and later that day at Bayside. The app failed to open the gate at either garage , I kept getting a failed error message. I was able to use my phone number to enter but I was forced to pay for parking when trying to exit. So not only did I pay thru the app, I then had to pay again even after showing the gate attendant the receipt. The app failed to work at all at Bayside.
The parking attendant was very rude. And ha8s to tell him in a not so nice way to watch how he spoke to me. The app is a great idea, however if the garage is not 24 hr please donot advertise it as such. Things were escalating quickly because of a rude Attendant and wrong information. Overall I am NOT please.
Got a $55 parking ticket because your app has a bug. Literal message on the screen that you have a bug! Told us to update after you fix it. Want to refund???
So far so good! Bought early parking for half the price of what I would have paid if I had waited!! Will update after actually parking with ease of use.
The app is great and easy. Parking at Denver Place garage now needs work. Had to have help to get in and out and there are signs I missed for information 😕.

The one time I used parkwhiz, I received confirmation of my payment for parking. When I returned to my car, I noticed a ticket stuck under my whipper. Trying to get this resolved, it's been almost a month and now they are saying I should pay my ticket, submit the receipt and they'll pay me back. What a scam!!!
Bad app. I tried to enter for a 2 hour parking and ended up paying for until the next day. $24.24. Not coming back if that's the case.
Very disappointed. Every time I try to park at the same parking lot (thru the Book Here link) I get an error screen.
Says 'activate account' but when you enter a password it says 'Weird that didn't work'. Does not give confidence that this app and 'service' are any good
Works great, very helpful for road trip. Find a valet parking lot for security.
Doesn't work as it states it should. Gate won't open scanning the bar code using the phone. Payment method using the app Doesn't work either.
I tried booking a parking spot at the San Antonio Amtrak station and the app did not complete the transaction. I scanned the QR Code and entered all the information, but when i tried checking out the app kicked me out without a confirmation or a parking pass. I tried multiple times. At this point, we had to depart and we are still not able to pay. I hope we don't get towed or booted. VERY STRESSFUL!!
This app would be better if it would allow frequently used lots to be marked (similar to Pay by Phone) and it identified a default license plate (instead in having to confirm it each time).
Although I had a less than ideal experience with the parking facility I chose (the facility demanded cash after I had already paid online to release my vehicle, but I was under duress and handed them cash to get my car back leave promptly, foolishly without a receipt), ParkWhiz was understanding, kind and prompt to assist me in remediating the situation within their means. The convenience this service offers is superb, especially in NYC, and finding/reserving a spot was super easy.
Highly disappointed that even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I can't copy or share my referral link 😠 I just keep getting an error that says "Weird, that didn't work...try again?" I have missed out on so many referrals opportunities recently, this needs to be fixed ASAP.
Terrible experience..I spent nearly an hour trying to find my prepaid pass from groupon..opening & closing app repeatedly..uninstall & reinstalling..those were the instructions they gave me to see my pass. Finally I couldn't take it and sent an email. With all the q&a they have not once did they mention u can't see ur passes from groupon until I recd the email Totally frustrating ..app needs lots of development..just awful
The first time I used this app, it seemed to work perfectly. The second time I went back to the same parking lot, followed the exact same steps by scanning the QR code on-site, entered my start and end times, clicked Google Pay and nothing happened! No error message and no parking pass. I tried a second time and nothing. Waste of time.
