I loved this app until I changed from a galaxy S9 to Galaxy A53. The app was moved over by smart link. It would not open when calls came in or when I called out I thought I'd solves the problem. But then it asked me to download Freebird?? That did not solve the problem. I then deleted both and reinstalled Parrot. Still no ability to record phone calls. I'm very disappointed. And, since I am a journalist, this is a big problem for me.
3 x 1 widget fails to record bluetooth. 1 x 1 works as expected with Bluetooth. Would like the ability to record with side buttons or bluetooth headset buttons. Thx
I had the lifetime subscription, and it worked well. Now, all of a sudden, it doesn't record calls anymore no matter what I do. I have cleared the cache/storage, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc. So, this doesn't work on a Pixel 6 Pro running Android 12 with the April 2022 updates. Pretty unhappy since I have the lifetime (no ads) subscription!
In the end, I am happy with the app, and how things are stored, and viewed in the cloud (Pro Version). However, it was slightly difficult to understand exactly how to access the cloud data. And, the issue of "root access," needs to be advertised, and explained to user, before purchase. Solid Pro is a fantastic Android app that gains root access, without any "Official Device Status" issues. This completes Parrot Pro.
Update: Good app, although I really didn't like the ads. The devs assured me there are NO ADS in the paid version so I paid the one-time $20 for the "lifetime subscription". It:s an easy to use voice recorder and saves me from buying a, separate device. I haven't used advanced features like their cloud storage, which requires a fee. But the recorder works fine with phone & ext SD card storage.
It says it's free, with quite a bit of emphasis. Basically, viewers want a free ap that'll have features to change their vooce, no cost. That's a gimmick here. Once you get this, it's just an extra micirphone for your device, that's it, until you pay for an upgrade. Don't say it's free if it's not! (false advertising, even though is common in istallations can still be reported.)
I bought the app as it should work with bluetooth headphones. Unfortunately it doesn't. I've tested all the possible settings and it doesn't register the other side of the conversation. The app itself is good. However there is plenty of gratuitous apps that offer the same service. There is no need to pay as the bluetooth doesn't work. Moreover, the recorded conversations are not organized by name or phone number and that makes it very difficult. I've sent an email as suggested but no answer..
