Scope for improvement. Executed battery of tests, but could not submit results to passmark. Rebooted smartphone, re-executed tests, but still could not submit results to passmark. Good house WiFi connection through out, as was done so to load the app in the first place. Hopefully comments help to fix shortfalls in software. Phone is ulefone Power 5, running Android 8.1.
Excellent way of comparing phones, much better than trying to make sense of manufacturer's published specs. Would be better if the app prevented the phone from going to sleep during a benchmark, I had to periodically tap the screen to keep it awake.
Works fine on Poco F3 stock ... but fails at 2D Graphics step on Poco X3 NFC on crDroid Android 12.
Very happy always. One recent flaw though: my new phone, on Android 9, in 'disk tests' benchmarks to 'int/ext storage read' of 1220 and 1003 MBytes/Sec. That seems to break your scale because I don't get an overall value for 'Disk tests'.
As a "fan" of benchmarks, in my opinion it needs a few slight corrections/fixes and it could be used as almost "the gold standard of android benchmarks". Thanks to the developer/s for making this and putting it out there for all of us.👍
Testing on a tracfone z798bl, the app ran and ended without giving a rating. No explanation. Could it have been interrupted? Unknown. Acted like it had ended normally, but gave no final information.
Android CPU benchmarks are completely different from their online listings and this could really throw you off if you're looking to get a phone based on performance. I would use Antutu instead.
This app reads the real hardware specs, and not like some others that reads from the software. if you have problems with clone phones, this readings are the real one.
Few options but does exactly what it needs to. I'm a passmark fan for the PC and needed to verify capabilities on a used phone. This gave me the confidence in the phone I needed.
Well, it works. Kinda. It worked well the first time, but it crashed almost at the end of the 2nd benchmark test. And when you consider that it takes like 7 minutes to run the test, this ain't it chief.
Not optimized for my device, but worked great on my older tablets to compare. I like the detailed breakdown for e.g. Cpu, graphics, memory.
Can't accurately assess device performance without it. PassMark sets the standard in this arena that competitors still play catchup to. A+ Incredibly useful!
The app could be so much better but again at least it gives you a really good baseline. I just bought a brand new phone and realized it really wasn't all that much more powerful than my old one so that's nice.
Works for me on Android 10. Just wish you could run individual section tests, instead of the whole system at a time.
EXYNOS:this app stops on the picture of the girl, have to press back button then open app, the app continues to run the full cycle please fix this.
I always loved PassMark for PC benchmark, however it crashes when it gets to 2D graphics test every time.
app works great for note 10 plus although 1 star taken off because download section could include average benchmark so I don't need to go on the passmark website to see average
Buy a used tablet? Use this to see if you got yourself a lemon. This is a very good quick and dirty stress test. Tablets and phones are complicated devices. This won't test everything. But it will test enough to let you know whether you got a keeper or crapper.
Yes I just went on a random string board corn maze of looking for my CPU information and a whole bunch of other things my end result is I came to this application I installed it and I let it run and at the end it told me everything about my system
After arriving at the rotating photo benchmark, the application Force Close and the results of the benchmark that were previously obtained are gone.
Tested on a Moto E4, app appears to have been fixed. Awesome!
Best, Easy, Fast and, Simple testing app! Thank you
old and, as mentioned, crashes at disk speed test on Android 10
Good for quick performance testing between devices.
Crashes on Android 10, on my Samsung S20 plus. Please roll out a patch
Good benchmark, Although it crashes on the 3D Benchmarkbon the Galaxy S10+ Exynos 9820
After running the tests, the results are discarded. The app is unusable.
Worst app. No way to compare the result. Just waste of time.
Works great, but the points are red, and it confuses me like are they red because my phones performance is bad, or is it just red
