I am a current medical student and find the app quite helpful. I enjoy their questions banks, and the fact that you can use them off line. It definitely adds to my studies.
I used Pastest on my computer, and its good, but am currently unable to incorporate the mobile app into my study schedule due to an inability to change the number of questions beyond 25, 50, and 100. It is sad. FIX THIS
I don't like that I can't review previous completed tests on the app once you exit out of the app. It let's you do it initially do it after completing an exam.
the single best resource leading up to dedicated. beats kaplan, firecracker and lectures... only losing our to uworld. i recommend all 1st and 2nd years get pastest.
Easy to use. Handy for riding the bus.
great range of questions, very user friendly app
i used this qbank to prepare for my step 1 exam before doing uworld and i feel that it helped me a lot for the prep to get my results ... 100% recommended
I can not get any questions It keep saying that no matching questions Please solve this.....
I have been using this app for the past 2 years and it has improved a lot. The UI is easy to use and looks pleasing to the eye. The explanations are thorough and reasonable. They go over each answer choice so you know why you got a question wrong. It breaks down your performance into different categories so you can tailor your studies according to your strengths and weaknesses. Lastly, the quality and difficulty of the questions is top notch. It is comparable to uworld without the high price tag. Definitely recommended for some free questions!
I love how the questions are thorough and reasonable with good explanations for each answer. They also report your strengths and weaknesses through email so that you can work on them. It's improved a lot over the years and would be worth the buy.
Great tool for reviewing on the go. I love how it references"First Aid for USMLE step 1" which is a common resource used to prepare for the exam.
Its a great app really good material to improve your skill i enjoy using it best part is free for one year 😁
Great review source. I like that it gives you good explanations and it gives you the page number in first aid (although not always appropriate) if more reading needed.
I think after doing 3 banks this one is my favourite. Highly recommended. Hope they make one for step 2
I've using this tool every day after I finished reading, and it is quite useful. It has good explanation of the questions and it's like a brief review of the topics that I've been studying. Also it contains the references for the First Aid books and it has helped me a lot! The best part: it's FREE for 1 year! 😎
This is one of my favorite apps for step 1! It's so easy to drill in facts so it becomes second nature
Great question! Explanation need some work!! But hey, it's free.
Add a highlighting feature
It's one of the best USMLE prep test. I think it's detailed and makes you think real hard. It's not flawless but it's better than a lot of the tests out there.
One of the finest qbank for usmle & the best thing is it's free so far! Contains parallel references from FA.
Helped me so much.
It's the best qbank I have gone through. The questions are standardized. Also they provide the FA page no for each question for us to brush up the knowledge. And more importantly everything is free for an year. Couldn't ask more.
This application is stable smooth has a very nice display. Excellent questions and they have thus unbelievable promotional 1 year subscription FREE...
One of best apps ever! So recommended
Very useful. The feature I like the most is the possibility to download questions and answering them afterwards, saving data. Other very useful feature is the Performance Dashboard, which lets you to follow your progress and see what areas you need to study the most. They do respond to the feedback we give in the questions.
Love the Qbank, another tool in our arsenal.
Been using it for 1month now and it makes me really wanna sit up and prepare for my step 1,However most of your answers and explanations need proper review.
The app is easy to use, but it doesn't sync with what you doing on another device such as a computer. Great for on the go study, but in the end, I think the computer version is more convenient.
