Patchwork The Game

Excellent fun game, and enjoyable to play against the AI on easy or medium level. Unfortunately at the hard level, the AI has been given an unnecessary and excruciatingly slow "thinking time". This adds nothing to the game and seriously detracts from the game play. I've given up playing at hard because it is so frustrating waiting for the AI to move, and since a computer thinks in nanoseconds, there is absolutely no need for it.

I love Patchwork the board game so it wasnt even a choice to download this. It's just the same and just as much fun. My fiancee and I must be terrible at it though (we have only ever played it with each other) because he cant manage to beat the AI on easy and I have failed to win against it several times on medium. The only issue I have other than that is that the AI takes a while to do their turn and there's no way to speed it up or skip it.

The game is great. I love it and the boardgame. However recently it's been glitchy, our buttons currency changes randomly between turns and available pieces disappear from the board. The turn piece has shown up on our quilts and then no pieces are highlighted available to select. I've had some luck going to the settings and reselecting our game to play to make the pieces all reappear but it has changed our button currency after that. I hope an update can fix these glitches-it's our kids favorite

I really like the real board game, so I was glad to find it online and practice. Good thing for its price. A bit too much animation for my taste. The only thing that I seriously dislike is when I play a tie with AI character and the system shows the winning symbol near AI icon. That's very disappointing

I like this app, but except for the tutorial booth games I've played resulted in a game freeze. I try to move my piece to my quilt and the game gets stuck. I can click on most things, e.g. my opponent's stats, options, etc., but I can't continue with the game. Please fix this--i would like to finish at least one game!

Love the game. Used to be a great app. reinstalled after a while away, now it almost always fails when signing in to my profile. Says network error. there are no network problems and all other apps (even data heavy ones) work fine. its extremely frustrating as I want to enjoy your game.

Occasionally it doesn't allow us to pick a piece we can afford and have room for. Sometimes also let's me pick a piece that I can't place. Had a game where got both on the same turn, could buy and place the third piece but it only let me pick the first one which wouldn't fit on the quilt, had to pass and lost a lot of time.

The game mechanic is great. Port from board game to mobile is also very sleek. For beginners it is a bit difficult to tell the size of few pieces, like a long straight piece. So if the pieces had light grids on them, it would make it easy to see their size.

Great game! I love visual-spatial puzzles and this game has fascinated me. It does have the occasional bug, but is generally easy to resolve. This makes me want to get a copy of the board game, except I would dread the cleanup.

Reducing my rating because there has been no reply or attempt to address the issues mentioned previously. As stated previously, a great game was made an app and then left to decline. Endless errors, no enhancements or fixes since I paid for it years back. No one listening or attempting to fix it. I feel a sadness because the concept is superb, and yet I wish I could get my money back. Last updated in 2017, says it all. And still charging for the privilege.

This is a well implemented digital adaptation of the two-player boardgame. The AI are decent. As much as I would like to love this game, I can't help but find its gameplay dull. For a very similar (polyomino game by the same author) but more enjoyable experience, I would definitely recommend Cottage Garden or Indian Summer.

It is a really fun game, but I keep experiencing glitches when I play locally against the cpu. Every second or third game it freezes half way through and refuses to let me place pieces and I have to re start the app.

Fun fit-the-Tetris-style-pieces into a board style game. Local multiplayer is great, wish there were more options to set names and pics for local play. I found the tutorial kind of confusing but after watching a YouTube video the rules were clear.

Twice now the game has got stuck after I selected a piece. Can't place it and the game has to be be exited, infuriating! Both times it happened when I was doing well. Also the AI is stupidly hard.

Great game for 2 people. Strongly considered picking up the physical copy of this, but we are more than happy with the digital version. Also makes counting up your score much easier!

Paid for the app.. can't play online/ranked games. Keeps saying Auth failed... and that I need to clear cache or restart app for Google play.. .. otherwise single player seems to be ok. Yes I have tried restarting the app and clearing cache on all apps. Uninstalling and reinstalling has seemed to fix the issue. changing my rating up a star.

Fantastic cutthroat game in a super cute environment! You can play with three different ai opponents of different difficulties, or with friends, or with randoms online.

As soon as I try to access the account / online section, the app log me in my account and automatically closes the app preventing me from playing online (which was the main reason I bought the game). Great game, big issues for the online functions, not working.

Anytime I tried to play a ranked game (the only form of PvP I could access) it would glitch within the first 2 moves causing the game to disappear. I'd get a notification later saying I lost.

Loving the game but it refuses to connect properly. I have done everything suggested and still it won't connect to Google Play so that I can play ranked games or casual games.

A perfect game for two. Patchwork is a lovely implementation of the table top game, with on-line, pass and play and solo play. I recommend this version highly.

Randomly glitches and my chosen piece just sits there and nothing can be done. Have to reset the game. Has happened about every 5th game. I'm over it, very frustrating.

Darn near perfect, would only like the ability to have different character portraits during pass and play. Wonderful game for me and my wife!

plays smooth. strategic choices. But for me, the background graphics while cute and pleasant are too busy and distracting.

Great Mobile adaptation to the point of surpassing playability of the physical board game. Asynchronous at its best.

love the game. challenging and fun. would like more backgrounds, especially right now at the holidays
