Great at what it does. I use it almost daily. 5 stars if we could add simple label waypoints and an easy way to share GPS coordinates to people that dont have the app, even if we have to pay for those features. Now is a good time to take over motion x customers *hint hint. I know of about 18,000 fellow employees that are looking for the next best gps app.
Easy and simple. Unfortunately missing the key feature of 'GPS update period' which would save lots of battery. Also amazing is needs to send 18MB of data over 6 hrs... For just GPS and speed info.... Why????
great app used to work flawless.... but now wont run at all since up date to android 10....on a sonim xp8.... help!!!! only 1 star till fixed thanks update sept 16 still sits at intro screen and wont move on and skip is stalled as well still nov 2 update ....still not working on this sonim xp8 used to......#+$------$$-$-&&
Not a fan of the web interface with a big logo and a massive banner with links to download the app
Deleted and re installed but still can't past, the enter your name screen.... Keeps saying, please enter name regardless of what I enter
Best app
Love it!
I would constantly have to uninstall and reinstall the app. It would not save the duration time of each session that I wanted, it kept defaulting to 30 minutes
How can I get the latest update for Android? I have Version 1.9.5. I am not getting the same features as I-phone is and they are 2.5.3.
I am a little concerned about the terms and conditions that seem to permit the developers the right to do anything they please with your data, however, a if you can get over that it is better than anything in this class. Can't be touched by Glympse or the express version. It's clean, simple, functional and add free, similar to the now unsupported Mobi but better.
Pathshare? It's rather pointshare. Almost useless if you can't define destination for your share. Take a look at Glymplse. Learn. Develop new, better Glympse. Uff. Google is finally implementing this feature in Google maps.
Crashes in tunnels and by crossing the border 🛂 and changing sim cards - the observers just say that the dot stuck at the border. Glympse has no such problems but instead it has this stupid 4h limit... Hope they will fix pathshare. Random crashes are bad especially at the border as the family following my travel is scared that I was stopped for many hours and I need to call them every time to say I am okay.
I am most impressed by the way this app has combined simplicity, intuitive interface and powerful functionality. I would have given it five stars if this version included the Low Battery consumption eco mode of the professional version. I am training for a 12 hour trail run and it is vital that support and family can follow my progress. But the one dollar per day cost of the professional version is unreasonable for private use. I sympathize with your business needs but suggest you instead have a premium ve
Nice and does what I need. I have 2 wishes: 1) Keep GPS active while a session is created/joined. I will obviously not keep my phone awake the whole time I wish to share my position! For now, I use "GPS Keep" to keep it on. 2) Add some "Update frequency" option. I only have 100mb/month and too many updates eat my data plan.
Much easier to use then Glympse
This is a fantastic app. We will be using this with 67 users in 2 weeks for 5 days straight. Looking forward to see it perform.
Used to be a 5 star rating, but for the past month or so, all I've gotten is "communication error". Good program when it works.
Stuck on intro page. Can't skip. Keeps returning to the same screen.
Using it for cycling activities. Does the work with sober app and webapp. No ads. No accounts required. Simple to use... Continue in that way !
Does not allow me to even open the actual app. It has me on a continuous introduction loop that doesn't let me get out. Help?
Pretty much what I was looking for, but would really like the ability to change update intervals to preserve battery life. I'm going on a week long bicycle trip without signal for a chunk of it and wanted to send my family a ping every hour or half hour with my progress but didn't want to constantly run a real time GPS tracker to preserve phone battery.
