Paw Points® Rewards by Fresh Step® Litter

I rely on receipt upload apps every time I shop, and this is by far the worst. After you ok the photo, it zooms in so far that it misses the store name, line item, total, or date (all of the required info). It flips the photo sideways so it's difficult to read whether you've captured the pertinent info. It takes me 5-8 attempts per receipt. I know you'll just tell me to contact customer service, but I don't have the time, and that's not why I downloaded an app that's supposed to be convenient. Once uploaded, however, I have received the points I've earned with ease.

I really like this loyalty program, though there were and still have some bugs that are annoying to deal with. Specifically, I frequently get an error when trying to enter a code - the app will submit the code with each letter/number entered. I found that going back erases all of the entry and that closing the error message will allow me to enter the next character. The really odd thing about this issue is that it doesn't happen every time. I like the extra points for cat birthdays.

I like the concept. I also like that I can now print the coupons insteaded of waiting for them in the mail. But... The app can be a little buggy. Plus there are items I would love to exchange my points for, but they have shown up as out of stock since I installed the app all most a year ago. Seriously? Come on! Update your inventory! Those items were obviously popular. Order more.

Just about everything on the prize list is out. I figured if i updated the app, it would refresh, but it just crashed. I couldn't get it open at all. Uninstall and reinstall seemed to work. The prizes are still out of stock. I was able to save up points and get one prize. I have more saved up, but everything else I want is out of stock. When are the prizes getting restocked?

The app is so easy to use. They have some cute things one can obtain with their points. There are contests that can be entered and other incentives. BUT most importantly the points earned can be given to an animal shelter, of one's choice, which means more to me personally than the other things. I know that my shelter really appreciates it. After all if it weren't for them, I wouldn't need to by Freshstep at all.

I appreciate the quick response to my previous review, concerning an issue where the app wouldn't open. After clearing the data/cache for the app, it now works as intended. I also see that there is a new update out meant to fix the issue. The app works well - I just claimed a reward recently (should be delivered within a month or so) so we'll see how that goes.

There seems to be some issues within the app. For example when entering paw point codes into the app I get an error screen every time I try to type in a code. literally pops up every time I type in a # or letter. Second issue is I cant seem to actually redeem the points I have. I've tried to enter in 3 sweepstakes now and I get an error message.

I like the Paw Points Reward App. It's easy to navigate!!! There's a good selection of rewards, and you can even donate your points to help out local shelters! Keep up the awesome work Fresh Step!! Update: 01/31/21 Well, the Paw Points Rewards App seems to be affected by the pandemic like everything else these days. It's still easy to navigate, however the selection of the rewards is seriously "LACKING"! Items I had on my "wish list" are no longer available. Hopefully, things will get better!

Newcomer as of today, had a bit of difficulty submitting one of my codes at first, but then it went thru finally. I do like all the various ways you can accumulate more points so easily to donate to such a worthy cause. Even with 11 cats that I am blessed with, that were left behind or dumped off with serious issues to fend for themselves, I still can't go through cat litter fast enough to get a bigger amount of points to donate, so I really like the many options they give you

The app stopped working. What happened? Everytime I click on the app to started it up, it immediately boots me out and says App forced Closed. It is an excellent app when working though, I have submitted lots of codes for my litter purchases 80% of them work while 20% seemed to either already been redeemed though the box is sealed but after a couple of days of asking for assistance, I always get the help I need and my codes automatically redeemed for me. Just keep your receipt should you need it

@Paw Points I think you should get technical support on this issue ASAP! The reviews are exactly as they say... I LOVED this app and the convenience.... However, I can not use it after the last update! I can't open it as it continues to crash and getting online is a hassle. Thank you!

Wanted to try it after realizing that I could be saving with all the kitty litter I buy every month for 5 cats, 4 litter boxes. Well, the app doesn't even work. I'll continue to try it every couple of days for a bit and see if there are any changes but this is frustrating and it looks like I'm not the only one. Please update and fix your bugs soon. Can't edit my profile and none of my codes are working. I get 7 boxes of litter a month.

Loved to get coupons for money off of litter. However. I have NO PRINTER. So now I cannot use that . And the item. Cat Spa. I was saving my points for was " Out of Stock " forever. Then you just deleted the item. Not really happy with the printable coupons. Need to bring back a simple coupon sent the old fashioned way. In the mail box. I have 10 cats. But I cannot let a hungry . Homeless cat get eaten by coyotes or owls. I'm disabled. On a fixed income. Saving money is very important to me.

Everything was going great until the last few days. The app crashes everytime I open it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried clearing cache. Still won't open. I don't know what happened. Worked beautifully until recently.????

Everytime I try to enter a code, on every letter I type in, it tells me that isn't a valid code. so I just change the store name (although Target is where I get ALL my Fresh Step) to OTHER and it takes it. The only other issue is that sometimes it kicks back my receipt upload saying it's too blurry or some other thing. I just keep trying until it goes. I have redeemed a few times and although my cats don't like one of the items, I think it's a pretty awesome deal anyway. Thanks Fresh Step.

Update caused my app to fail to open, until I cleared all storage and re-logged in. Problem solved with that issue. Next, I have a code, straight off the box, that fails to work. I emailed support last week and haven't heard anything in return.

I spend a lot of money on litter so I appreciate being able to use points for boxes of free litter. However, I have problems with getting points on purchases made online from Walmart. I have tried about 5 times to get points for 4 boxes but was never credited. That is the only disappointment I have with Paw Points. This is why I changed my 5 star rating to now give only 4 stars.

After 7 emails back and forth, screen shots included the points balance doesn't equal up. Repeatedly adding the history up shows more than 1500 points redeemed, yet they continue to say the balance is just over 1000. Thinking this is a waste of time. Update: it appears points expired. Despite all 7 emails, not once was this actually stated or explained. So I will change the review stars but won't change the initial review.

I keep getring error messages when I try to input a code. I know the code is correct because it is the one on the box and it is legible. I have sent two different emails to your team to try to get that taken care of and I've had no response back from them. The same thing happened a few years ago and I also got no response back from them. you really need to correct this app.

I did get a really great prize from this app. I have a lot of points saved up but most prizes have been out of stock for quite awhile. I am hoping that soon something I need/want will be in stock again. I am getting worried that they won't be adding anymore. It has been a long time since anything new has been in stock or added to the prize list. It is a great app when there are prizes available.

App was working fine but now when i claimed a coupon i was redirected to a BLANK Page..and my points were gone but i got no COUPON. This is the new App as when i go to playstore it says open, not download. Im fine with getting coupon now which i need, just not fine points are gone and no way to get the coupon back! Digital coupons should be just that..digital. Send them to email or allow QR code to be scanned at register for those who can't print. Redeemed a fountain never received either.

Easy to use, very intuitive but missing something important... There's no way to report those instances where the package code is illegible. That ability is in the web based version but totally absent in the mobile app.

Doesn't work properly. Every time there's an update, it stops working altogether (can't open). Try to put in valid codes, says they're invalid. Cashed in a coupon, no info on how to access it on computer, and app doesn't work.

It is very easy to use. I enjoy navigating to see the items I can get with the points I accumulated with purchases I already have to buy anyways. (Litter) The cats love getting items. And I enjoyed receiving free litter for a year with the sweepstakes.

awesome litter for 8 indoor cats. love the points too, saving up for quality scoops for their litter boxes. love options of free litter and mats and toys. app is easy to use. my only issue with paw points is having the ability to correctly decipher the codes that are printed on plastic and cardboard. they are so choppy and smeared that you can't get the code correct to get the points added. need a better way of issuing paw print codes.

App is well put together, and has a clean interface. However, they seem to run out of the most popular rewards quite often, and most of the available rewards are inexpensive and not worth the points. However, you can always donate your points to a local shelter.

I applied points to a printable coupon and tried to use it at Target. I was told from a Target employee that they no longer take printed coupons only coupons directly from the manufacturer. I needed litter asap so bought it anyways and the coupon was expiring soon so I was not able to use at another location the next time I needed it. I reached out to customer service and they said to go to another store and they would not issue points or another coupon. Poor customer service over a $3 coupon 👎

App use to work fine. Now I am unable to login with my credentials that I have used many times in the past. I try to perform a password reset and it says my account doesn't exist. I go to "sign up" and it won't let me and states I have. Internet connection. So I tried again on mobile data with the same results. The app is now 100% useless. Very unfortunate.

This app is worthless. It glitches trying to synchronize if you already have an account. There is no support for this app. The products are overpriced and not quality. All around rubbish and awful. I had over 3000 points expire. No notice. No nothing. Just wasted time and money.

After last update the app keeps crashing. Deleted cache, forced stopped it, uninstalled it, reinstalled. Loved it before this update. Also the email address provided does not work. After the update everything is working again!!!
