---How to get OFFICIAL records through Pawprint:
If you'd like us to help you get their official, verified medical records from your veterinarian, just follow these steps:
1. Navigate to your pet's profile page (go to your pet's timeline, then click "more about me"2. Submit a request by clicking "update" at the bottom of the page in the medical records section
- you will be prompted to pick your vet or enter a new one
That's it! The Pawprint team will then contact your vet for an official copy of your records. You'll get a notification when the records are loaded onto your app and then you'll have a digital copy of the records for any emergency or to share with a service provider.

I used this app before the major changes to the free version and it was awesome. But as I kept using it, over time it just got harder to use till I couldn't fix a date that had been automatically set for me. I'm disappointed with how the app has morphed into a money grab. I get it, the idea is to make money, nothing against that, but don't make it impossible for the free version users to continue using the app without forcing the paid content. That's not selling the value, that's being pushy.
Love it! We travel with our old dogs often and it's extremely handy to have their medical records available on my phone in case of emergency, or boarding. It's also very handy when we have someone dog sitting. Pawprint also makes it easy to work with your vet for securing and maintaining records. The app also reminds us to give our dogs their meds, which is very helpful. Some of the new features including appointment seeing i have yet to try, but will soon.
Very frustrating app. I update medical records and I still have an alert saying "No full records". If you make a mistake updating information, you cannot erase it. So you have to delete the whole pet and start over. Stupid. Even if you pay for the premium services, you still have to pay more to request medical records. No, i don't want to have to pay more every time I need to request records.
Best app for managing a furry family! I've been using PawPrint for quite some time now and have depended on it to keep my furry children's records straight. I have one cat with irritable bowel disease, so managing her records and keeping them on hand is essential. Anytime I've had app issues they've been prompt to reply and fix them. Also, actual humans work tirelessly behind the scenes on record requests. Great people! Thanks PawPrint! :)
excellent app. I've recently moved from iphone to android and ive not been disappointed in beibg able to access the app. had a few quirks with the newly launched android app but the amazing customer support were straight on to it to address issues. Great app - id not be without and even better customer support. highly recommend
Originally 5 stars. Love this app when it works. Now after the update, I cannot go to my settings or share my medical records. When I click the option, it kicks me back to the pet page. Please help to fix. I have 3 pets and this is my main method to keep organized.
I never got to actually use the app because I deleted soon after I downloaded it. I went to enter my pets information and each thing I clicked on pulled up the calendar to enter my pets birthday. Super buggy. Sounds like a good app that has potential but needs some fixing.
I kept getting as and different interruptions when trying to read the articles. Was very annoying. Guess the library is going to be my best bet. Wish I had had better luck.
Very good service and got me all my records from my first vet. My issue is the app doesn't search properly. It keeps coming up with zero results other then the first place I searched for which was my first vet. I'm looking for other vets with documents on my dog and the app won't search properly. Fix that issue and I'll give 5 stars
The app is so easy to use! While requesting for the medical documents, this app will contact/notify someone on their team to establish the communication so you don't have to contact the Vet yourself! Very buggy lately. Crashes alot. Filled with things you have to pay for now. It was awesome when it simple and free. Now there are articles and pet ads galore.
Used to be free for records, now it isn't. You could request from your vet your pet's records for free and now they charge you each time. App is only good for manually keeping your files via the cloud on your phone. Otherwise no longer great for an app. :/
Great app. Allows me to upload documents and pictures. I have not figured out how to get my updates when I send the records to myself. Other than that I am pleased.
This is great! We have lots of animals...it will take me a minute to add them all. My only comment is it would be nice in the dog section or even in the horse or cow section to be able to put microchip or brand name/number. Thank you for creating this awesome app!
I had such high hopes for this app but it's glitchy as all hell!!!! It never set my dog's birthday, breed, photo. Couldn't find my vet (who is well known) but did find a vet in Beverly Hills. It will be a great app once they get the many bugs fixed.
Had trouble at first with payment on requesting records, but with the latest update they patched it and it worked flawlessly. Thank you for making record keeping easy!
Love the app! I even had a bug issue and when I emailed them, they contacted me back right away and pushed an update within days to fix it! Great app and amazing team!
Very Easy to use!! just surprised to see 9.99 to add complete records, when general is free. Otherwise, Love it.
Seems like the latest update broke the app, and I haven't seen any fixes for it in months. Oh well, was a good app.
Doesn't work. Trying to add a vaccine and expiration date will freeze the entire app, unable to save or cancel. Useless.
Why can't I delete or edit reminders? This has become super cumbersome to use. The concept is fantastic but you need to focus on GUi and usability.
I love keeping all my pets' vaccine records together. However, there are vaccines that are "overdue" which have been updated. These should be listed under "historic", but they aren't.
Disappointed. No place to record microchip number for each pet. Also doesnt have Vetco by Petco for records. No instructions and had to find out by playing around how to change selected Vet as I have two homes and records at two different vets.
Recently we had to take 2 dogs to the Emergency Vet. Having the app on my phone was a godsend!!!! I already loved this app since it's only 10 bucks per dog to have the vet upload records. It's clutch when your panicked!
Originally this was a 5 star, but lately it just glitches. I can't do anything. I want to update vaccines but it glitches out everytime I open options. This needs to be fixed
It's OK, constant glitches. It does not save pictures, and constantly says "something went wrong" when trying to input information or save items. The ONLY thing I've found useful, is that the medical records did come back from the vet, and are Digital. Very nice. I do not think it's worth the fee, unless they can actually get all the functions to operate correctly, and on both iPad and Android. I have had issues on Both devices, so it's not just the system I'm using.
