Unbelievably DREADFUL. Had the fan almost 3 years and when it works, the fan is good. BUT the app constantly needs to be reconnected by re-entering the code. I just now uninstalled and reinstalled the app, in case it might help, but now it can't detect the fan, even though the electric is on and I'm entering the code. I tried to get help with similar issues from PAX before, but they don't seem to have solutions for the problems. Wouldn't buy one again without a standby manual switch.

I could set the desired operation for my fan, but I have to admit that this might be the most unintuitive app that I have used. It only took four complete resets of the fan plus one reinstall of the app and digging in behind the cryptic descriptions and few "more options" accidental discoveries. What I wanted was simple enough - keep it always quiet unless humidity is high. It's naive to think that it would be straightforward to set up.

The app sometimes asks questions after connecting to the Calima, and shows different options in the app depending to your answers. Sometimes doesn't and just gives you random options. For the longest time I had one calima only with the option to choose fan speed from 88% to 100%. Nothing else. After resetting, got more. Not at all intuitive. Has a lot of potential, but not at all good right now. No shutting fan off with the app. Lowest percentace 41%.

After recent update asked me to reconnect to my fans, which is really annoying since i have to take them apart. Then updated to latest release and the app won't even start. This is truly unacceptable quality for an app that is the only way to control the hardware. I expect a quick fix.

As long as I can't set the light sensor speed lower than 70% it's totally useless, as I don't want it to scream like an airplane while in the bathroom. Why is the range only 70-88%? Absolutely worthless, regretting buying this. Looked so much better on paper.

Same here as with a bunch of recent reviews: The app crashes at the start. Reinstallation does not help. Fortunately the fan is in carage and does not need constant control as now I don't have any means for that. The app used to work back in autumn untill a recent update. It is called progress, I guess.

The app/phone is connected, but no mather what i do the fan (calima) keeps on running on full speed. I also find the app difficult to understand an use even though i concider myself fairly knowledgeable on ventilation (not professional). All in all my Pax experience is very disappointing. We paid a premium price for a mediocre product.

As long as you grant app permissions and set the app to not sleep, everything works fine. After you do your settings and close the app, it remembers everything, even after powering of and on again. Whe. Finished setting up the app. Allow app to sleep again.

Perhaps it has been improved? Here's my experience. * Instantly connected, smoothest I've seen. * Inital setup questions a bit too advanced. * Ton of possibilities. Lots of tuning. Even silent periods and occasional fresh air full speed periods during day. Well done! Works perfectly.

For the love of God, only thing I want is an on and off button. Or a way to change the sensitivity at least. The app is completely useless and the fan is just off unless I put it in test mode, but then my phone locks and the fan shuts down.

Completely broken app that works once in a while. Bugs in just about every feature of it. Add, on top of that, a UX that makes you wonder if this company is capable of understanding even the simplest things.

Why artificially limit how useful your product can be? Depending on what profile you choose, some control options are gone! Want to control the fan on both humidity AND temperature? Fy fan, better look elsewhere! And those bizarre fanspeed limitations... 70-88% Wow, please don't spoil me rotten with those options! Such a shame, could be really good with some effort!...

Not only the app works horrible but also the pax towel dryer Kombination with their bluetooth Fan. Don't by this horrible PAX equipment. It's expensive and works horrible. Full of bugs both hardware and software. And PAX service is ZERO!

The app crashes after latest uppdate (15 Dec) and does not even Open at all. Also, looses contact from time to time with fan and also looses complete settings so be sure to save pin code of fans to reenter in app.

I have 2 Calima fans. I was able to connect to one of them for several minutes. Now no connection to both fans. It's good quality fan, but the app simply doesn't work. Can't recommend.

Jek. K. Dec 27, 2020

So far the app works. And it's simple. For those who are having problems, add application permissions manually to file system and camera. Just Google "android app add permission". Helped me.

Vic. H. Dec 20, 2020

I got installed two Pax Calima fans recently and tried this app, but the app doesn't open, it closes immediately after trying to open it. I tried this in other android mobiles at my home and same issue with those.

Tom. S. Jan 27, 2020

Out of 20-30 tries, I've only got the app to connect to the device once. Don't know if it's the app or the fan itself that is bad.

Joh. L. May 18, 2019

Demands locationdata that is totally unnecessary for the operation of the app and won't function without it. This should be removed. Does what it is supposed to do albeit slightly glitchy.

Car. L. B. Dec 23, 2020

It won't open since update 15th December 2020 😔 Update 22nd December fixed issue and app is working. Functionality wise I would wish some more options like - stop - switch trigger should be able to do delayed start

Gor. S. Oct 1, 2019

Really poor app, can't change from weekdays on the towelrack schedule, and weekdays includes Saturday and Sunday :-( Still no updates to fix bugs. Why ask for feedback in the app if you just ignore it.

Mar. F. Dec 20, 2020

App won't start on Samsung S7 after latest update 15 December 2020. Hope you fix this soon. And that you test new releases more properly in the future before you release them as updates to the crowd.

Kat. L. Feb 1, 2020

App does not accept the pin, says "no product couod be found", even though the device is paired. Fan works 24/7, can't shut it off.

Pho. T. Dec 31, 2020

very bad app. looks like company dont have enough money for fixing crashing. very frustrating.

Joa. L. Dec 21, 2020

Unable to start/open the application after last update. Please do not release any update if you have not TESTED the app. Useless!

Geo. M. Aug 4, 2019

Nice app. Would it possible to include an option in future update where the fan will always stay on, when the light is on.. because now you can set it to max 60min at it will shut off no matter the light is on. PAX Norte 1560. Or it will require fan firmware update? Thank you

And. A. Apr 14, 2019

The updated app works (better). would be Nice if you had the opportunity to choose rpm for the hole range of the fan.
