Easy to use and has good decisions for user experience, like the card number copying to clipboard with a single tap instead of a hold-"copy" style. The biggest addition I would make is I would like to see far more in the way of customizations for the cards. More colors, more icons to choose from, more to individualize the cards so I know what I'm selecting at a quick glance.

Love this service! I use these virtual cards for basically every online purchase. I ensure that I'm protected in case any of those services get hacked, I can easily pause or delete that card. The support has always been super responsive and helpful. They have taken suggestions and researched making the service easier to use. I recommend this service to all my friends.

Excellent program. I use it for everything now. To be able to pause or restart card us priceless. I have one for Amazon. One for auto zone. One for netflix. Etc. You change yourdinding source in an instant. I love it. Glad banksate slow to come r it because privacy does it better. I had another through a bug brick and mortar bank and I rather on line. Aaaaaa+++++++++

I love the idea, but I haven't been able to use the app at all yet. Two of my bank accounts are being claimed as unsupported and I can't link individual debit cards because I have a bank linked which was required at the start. And any time I attempt to make changes to the funding sorce my account is put under review for the next two days. I have multiple accounts for multiple expenses like business or personal and not being able to link them all defeats the purpose for me.

This is great!!! I can finally ditch PayPal for paying for things online!!!! It's much safer too. Super easy start up and use. Basically you just add the card you want to use online and when you go to pay for something you can make a virtual card that can only be used with that vendor(after the first use). You could set limits to make sure you don't get charged extra or make it one time use only so you can't get hit with a payment after a trial ends etc. Unless Privacy gets hacked, the card's ok

My experience after 3 months has been excellent. I started with the free version but after 2 weeks moved to $10 a month paid. Love the control this gives me online sharing my card info. Great that you can set limits per card and even change the vendor name that shows up on bank statements. Great service at a great price!

Overall this is an amazingly useful service and a logical and easy-to-use companion app. I do, however, have a few quibbles with the app, hence the missing 5th star. The first seems a glaring omission, and can annoy, but hopefully an easy fix. Now perhaps I'm missing something, but there appears to be no way to display the amount remaining before the spend limit you've set is reached, or conversely, as on the desktop site shows, $total.spent/$spendlim3 cardit.set per (month, year, whole card).

I've used this service for years now, and apart from some issues when I first started using the app, it's incredible. The glitching cards I experienced have been worked out in updates, and the service always performs properly, efficiently, and beautifully. The protection Privacy provides is unmatched, and since using it, I wouldn't want to live without it!

I've been using Privacy for a little over a year now and it's quickly become the most helpful and indispensable financial tool of all that I use. Such an ingenious service. Privacy has truly made my life easier and makes tracking my spending easier, as an unintended side effect of seeing all transactions by card type. I've now transitioned over every single bill that I can pay with a debit/credit card to Privacy. I genuinely don't know what I would do without it nor how I managed without it!

I use this app to create credit cards for most of my online purchases or purchases through online apps. I like narrowing the security of the transaction to the vendor and or putting a limit on the spending in case the vendor starts to charge me for recurring charges or any other crazy stuff. I am in control. There are some usability issues with the app itself that could be improved and some things that are not intuitive even after using it over and over like the red button in the upper corner

Amazing! At first I was skeptical but this app is a game changer when it comes to paying for things online. Very easy to use. You link bank account with Privacy then you make cards (legit credit cards) for each vendor. You set the credit limit for each card and you can choose that limit to apply monthly (for example). I will never give out my debit card number ever again. Thank you for a well thought-out app👍

I'm a big fan of this service after using it for a few months. Setting individual charge limits and being able to pause some cards while keeping others open is SUCH a game changer. My biggest gripe though is with the android app. The chrome extension works perfectly, but half of the time the android app won't open. This is particularly annoying when I wanna go in and create a single use card or unpause a card I already have. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars.

With the increased state of cyber intrusions on all our systems, I have grown fond of this service, to protect my credit card info. I do a lot of online shopping, and am comforted in limiting card exposure. The interface is simple and intuitive, so quick to setup. All this, no fees or intrusive ads, 🤔 overall, love it.

Awesome service! I just wish it was accepted by more merchants. Some merchants do not accept Privacy cards (such as OnlyFans and Bumble). However, for the ones that do, this is an absolutely invaluable service that allows me to control access to my money! I love being able to sign up for "free trials" with no worry about forgetting about the renewal or having to contact customer service to disconnect. Also, refunds on closed cards still work flawlessly!

This app is really great for keeping your card info safe though there are a few things I would love to see. Google pay integration would be great to automatically make burner cards with Google pay. Alternatively it would be nice to have a pop up when you click on a box asking for a card number to make a card with this app automatically. In additional to those useful features it would be nice to unlock the app with your fingerprint. Great app though.

This app is a must for online shopping, your money is in good hands. I wish they still had the ability to not keep cards merchant locked upon request. (The reason is why some merchants like Amazon have multiple payment sources and you card will get declined when the funds get taken out from different services at different times.) I miss that ability to keep a total limit and leave it locked after the total amount is spent. However doesn't change my opinion on how much I love their services. This is the one of the few 3rd party apps I trust keeping my bank account linked too.

So far, so good! I really like the concept of this app. I've used quite a few burner cards already with it without any issue. They close within two minutes of making the purchases I created them for, so it definitely makes me feel more secure with the added security of a virtual card and ability to close them so quickly. I can't imagine not using this app now for online purchases that don't accept PayPal and the like.

Innovative concept, well executed. App makes it easy to pay on the go, even when service is poor. I have created a card mere seconds before it was run and it works every time! Being able to turn off subscriptions from a central dashboard has been great for budgeting and the premium features are worth it if you spend more than 1000 USD just for the cash back!

The app needs to have more than one fund source. Currently, you can only link one bank or debit card to your account. I need multiple bank or debit card accounts because I use multiple banks to pay for multiple subscriptions. Example, I use Chase Bank to pay for my Netflix and I use Bank of America for Spotify. I can't do that with this app because I can only have one payment account... also no discover debit card support. Otherwise it's a cool concept for sure. I really like it.

The Spend Limit is an annoying feature. I generally use this app for free trials and subscriptions that I don't want renewing or sources that I don't trust. For this reason, I have very few transactions actually going through these burner cards. The big issue with the spending limit is that I no longer even have the option to get a non-renewable 1 year subscription because the cost is >$50 which is my daily spending limit. This feature really cuts out about half of the use I had for the app.

Has saved me a lot of headaches.. In the sense of not being afraid to do trial periods. The provider can only spend so much, like$1, and then when the trial is over they can't charge me those Megabucks for something I might never use. Virtual card nos. are a must for me! I do wish I could tie my legit. Charges to a charge card. You can't.

Great tool to have for when you need to pay bills that would otherwise charge a fee for using credit cards. I've used it for things such as rent payments to DMV renewal fees! Beware the time lag depending on your funding source. Linking it to your debit card guarantees same day (note: NOT instantaneous) debit from your account. While linking to your bank account directly can take up to 3 days for payment processing.

I am slowly switching every recurring payment to this service, and I will make all online purchases through this service. The dispute process is simple and easy (In case of a scam and such). |I love being able to set how much per month each card can be charged. (Will prevent sudden price increases without my knowing). I also like getting a notification on every charge. And the ability to turn a card on and off on a whim is fantastic for sites that I do not use on a regular basis. If there is a data breach or my account gets taken over my bank account can not be drained. There are only 2 things I would REALLY like the service to add. 1) Allow me to provide a pic/logo for a card if you do not have a pic/logo of a particular service. 2) Allow me to have more than one payment source. I would love to have both my main bank card and my PayPal card attached to the service. I prefer to use my paypal for most transactions, but I would like my bank card to be the fallback incase PayPal decided to decline purchases.

This app and the desktop version of the same is a life saving net against subscription based services. It allows you to create specific card numbers for your online payments instead of the same card numbers all the time, and then, you can not only choose the limit for each card individually, you can also PAUSE the card. That means that this specific subscription will not go through now but this other one will. In short, this app puts you in full control of your finances.

This app has only gotten better and I've come back to this review after using it for years now. I used to set reminders in my calendar to cancel services but it's easy now it just let decline and then cancel the service. The app itself works well and the service is great. For example, I never got a credit for Sinemia charges (they would charge fees not agreed too and then just closed up shop without refunding customers) from Chase Bank but privacy credited all of them back the next day.

I find the service to be incredibly useful and the app works really well too. And I needed to use customer service and they did a great job. Edit: be aware that all your cards could suddenly be closed. Very good to have an actual credit card backup.

I do love this app. The concept is perfect especially for bill pay and recurring subscription. However, I cannot add more than one funding source and/or I have difficulty with multiple funding sources. I use the most recent version of Android 10 on OnePlus 7Pro and have problems with it. But I enjoy this app a lot.

Great app and customer service. Provides a good level of security while keeping things easy. I reached out to them to see if I would get a refund on a return. Before my return was even processed I was ensured by their customer service that I would get the full amount back. Sure enough, I did. I would recommend this app to anyone looking for extra online security.

This is one of the first apps I downloaded onto my phone. Being able to have one-time use debit card numbers or cards that lock to one merchant gives me a lot of piece of mind that my information will not be stolen and used improperly. It also helps me keep my budget in line - if I set a limit on my card that is linked to Amazon, I can only spend up to my budget! I highly recommend this app to anyone who uses credit/debit cards online!

Fantastic, the burner cards are very helpful for buying on websites that you might not trust with your real personal information, or if you're like me and sign up for a trial of something, then forget about it until you realize you've been charged $20 a month for the last 6 months... no more! Use a burner card and never make that mistake again. I can't stress enough how awesome this app is. 100% of my digital transactions go through this app now.... well expect Google pay, they won't allow it.
