Terrible app. It's ok when it works but...it doesn't! My card is confirmed and activated but I am not able to send any funds to it and have to use my debit card for a higher fee than just sending it to the Payactiv card. For the last week I haven't been able to access any funds and it hasn't updated the available funds and it's now, another pay period. It's just a useless waste of time and my employer just started using this "benefit" a little over month ago. Don't download,can't count on them.
It's confusing to add and link cards, the options don't line up, trying to think like the developer from another country is too difficult to walk through a simple process of adding and verifying one's bank then link one's debt card to that same bank and load funds to the PayActiv card you get in the mail... should be simple it's not; they system constantly gives errors or or is grayed-out.
The app is always having issues with the earned wage access. I now have to send a PDF of my paystub every week to prove repayment. I tried several times to get the issue resolved and have not gotten a response. * Edit: Devin contacted me and was extremely helpful. He resolved my issue and was a pleasure to speak with. The app has quirks but they are great at fixing them when you call support.
The support staff never want to assist you and either won't answer the phone or cut you off in the text chat support option. And after I posted this they still did not try to communicate with me just sent me one text message and a line that you can't respond back to and left it at that.
Having the option to access my money daily is awesome especially when unforseen events happen using payactiv has helped me be able to take care of those situations quicker than having to wait for payday for a week or two. Also, customer service is amazing and so helpful.
Awful. I got the card and the only thing I was able to do is activate it. I have been trying to add funds for weeks and nothing. I contacted them thru the app and they refer me to the number on the card. Called and they hang up on me once. The second time they transfer me but after holding for about 10 minutes a voicemail mail came up.
Could not load funds from debt card to Payactiv card. Worked flawless for a few months and then stopped for some reason. Contacted tech support and they said the would look into it. Tried following a message that was left and still could not get it to work. Sent emails and left a bad review (but truthful) and was finally contacted after 2 days. Followed given instructions and still can't load funds and see that my card has been blocked and locked so I called customer service.
EDIT: I was contacted promptly after posting my original review. Issue was fuxed immediately and my access has been restored. Thank you! ...I have been unable to transfer earnings for over a week now. I have uninstalled reinstalled, checked settings and reached out for help. Customer service phone just rings and rings. Started a chat with Mitchell B who never responded after his initial greeting then app timed out. Very frustrating.
After the new update it won't let me access any money. I click on the amount I want then after that it says add account but it doesn't let me add one. You can't click on the add account option because it brings you nowhere. I already have a checking account on file that I used to add my money to buy for some reason it doesn't give me the option to add money to it. It just stay stuck on add account. Please fix this or you will loose a lot of business.
Bank is connected but can't add funds. Very glitchy app with a lot of technical issues. Cant sign in with fingerprint, constantly having to reset password to work, and constantly gets denied at the pump despite having plenty of funds, using right pin #, etc.
this is very helpful to have as an option when you get paid every other week and you need cash before payday for something. it's cheaper than a cash advance place, the funds are transferred in seconds and its so very easy to use their app. def recommend
It works sometimes. It often takes 3-4 days to update. Need to update faster with what I've worked. It's unreliable though, as I've already paid back what I owe and the app doesn't update for me to pull money.
quick and easy... provided you get set up your first time easily. I had issues my first time. but they were willing to advance some early to help me through some financial hardship. they helped me buy some food for myself and I have to thank them for working with me. I appreciate the app and it helps me most when I have a bill upcoming and cannot make it to the bank for deposit. 10/10 recommended this already 👌 low key.
This app is still glitching after 3 weeks. It does this on every device including online on a computer. Please address this. I spoils like to use my card. I have tested this app on Android, apple, tablets and pc and the screen just jumps all over the place.
Lots of problems. Half the time never displays money earned. Most recently stop displaying card and Amazon account info. Plus I can never transfer to my payactive card. And always get the same answers when contacting help through chat. Now chat don't answer and get nothing from calling. Very disappointed.
The bad Customer service will be your down fall for this company. For the past 3 weeks I've been trying to receive help from anyone on this app calling, usingthe chat and nothing... probably the worst Customer service I've come across with an app. I will give them 1 more week to figure out the issues I have with the app and my pay not updateding... I'm so glad that I didn't decide to go through them with direct deposit especially with their bad service. I will be informing my company on this!
I have not used this app since the 23rd of April which is nearly a month, and my last two checks have both posted for $0, and the app shows 0 hours worked and $0 earned. When I try to contact customer service, I get nothing. I have bills to pay and need my money. Please fix this damn app
Okay thier customer service may be a little finicky, but if you have the time to stay on hold for 30 mins and the system doesn't just hang up on you, you'll eventually get some assistance. So it works I guess.
Terrible. No one answers the help chat. No one answers the phone when you try to call in to get help. I signed up to use the service, i downloaded the app and ive been on the website. When i log in all i see is my prepaid card information. Thats it. No other service. When i try to get help, i get connected to help chat and then ignored.
The app is ok. Doesn't always update when it should. Had multiple technical problems. The main problem is customer service is horrible. They make you wait so long with a response that the app times out. But the chat bubble covers up the timer so unless you know that its going to time out then it seems like they just kick you out while you are waiting for a response so you have to log back in and then start the chat with a new person and explain the problem all over again.
this app use to work great and was always updated. now they use my old pay rate from last year instead of my current pay rate and alot of times my hours aren't updated either. I have put in multiple cases but it doesn't seem to get fixed.
So slow, won't load, not easy to use. The chat help is about as useless as the app itself. I've tried to get help twice thru the chat help, they come on and ask "how can we help" I reply with what I need help with and then no response either time at all.
Love it!! I can get a pay advance without interest. It doesn't let you use too much but just enough if you need it. If you need it instantly it's in my bank for a small fee 🖤
If I could go to a different service I would. I started having issues with payactiv a few months ago. My password is always inccorwct on my next revisit. I always have to talk to a customer service provider to reset it because the "simple" reset sending a pin is an issue. The pin can never be verified when you attempt that way. Now, i accessed my money, had a $0 on the app, and never recieved it making me have nothing for my sons birthday.
Transfer-in stopped working and even in-app chat doesn't work. Tried to chat on a computer, but rep never said anything past hello. Hate that I've opened my banking data to Plaid/Stripe on two accounts and get nothing in return.
By far the best prepay app I've ever seen. With the quick pay options you never have to worry about being flat broke. You always have a little bit of cash for just in case situations.
Update: if I could do no stars I would. Go to bed wake up and the money you were expecting to be there after a full week of working is gone. No point in the app uninstall! Amount doesn't calculate well. Doesn't show all days I've actually worked. Keeps missing days.
Dont depend on the daily partial. You cannot rely on this service. I call customer service just to be told a script they were taught to ignore the issue and stall you out. Then ask you to take a survey... like really? This makes the third time ive relied on this service only to be let down. I will delete this app, re-route my direct deposit, and destroy my card. This was the last straw.
Edit: Nathan called me and i was able to get access to my earnings in less than 2 minutes! Thank you for fixing the problems i was having! Very upset with this app, after I went on maternity leave it stopped working completely and had lots of glitches. Now that I'm back to working it doesn't show an updated balance or that I have any money available to use when it use to show after 24 hours. I've been trying to fix it for weeks and I'm tired of it.
