Payback - Mobile

Great coupons bad search functions. Payback books are offered as fundraisers for schools and local organizations. The coupons are paper and electronic, though not all of the venders are aware of the electronic options. I like that my favorites stay from year to year. Good confirmation before using a coupon. No wonder nobody can get this to work. It's immediately clear that this app was designed for a VERY old version of Android. Some of the design elements I haven't seen in almost 10 years. I would go as far as to say this app isn't even safe to install on your phone. It has very outdated permissions requests, which include access to microphone, phone, storage and location. All can be denied by the user of course, but that's beside the point. This app is in desperate need of an update.

App download requires permission to access microphone, phone, and storage. Creepy and unnecessary, so after downloading I went into the 'app info' and manually turned off its access to those. The app appears to work fine after doing this. I'm very pleasantly surprised! Several current offers appear for me. Both the search bar and favorites functions seem to work. Hopefully this isn't just because I have a slightly older model of phone. Mystery how... app store says last update was 4 years ago.

Downloaded app a month or so after got the book. The app loaded but once search is entered the thing just spins and spins. I got a new phone I am giving the app one more download shot. Second time great results. So I would recommend to other that they have a newer phone when using the app. Some phones may not have enough MB for the catalog search download.

Last year downloaded the app and it did nothing. Sits on the loading screen and nothing happens, even with Promo code. This gear i downloaded it again thinking it would be fixed....nope, still the same. Dont know why the advertise to download app in Paybook books if you can't even use it.

I was logged in and set up and now for some reason it reset and won't let me log in without putting in the promo code again and I obviously don't have the book with me. That was the point of the damn app.

Signed up, used code from the book, but the app does nothing. Shows loading but never loads anything.

liked the app but it won't let me update it with this year's code so i can use my new book

I downloaded the app and trying to set up an account. The app asked me for a promo code and when I told them I did not have one it just kicked me out and said thank you for your interest

This app requires you to buy the physical coupon book and enter the promo code in the coupon book to be able to use it.

Doesn't even let you create an account unless you have a promo code

I bought a couple books, how can I register another code to my account? It's showing as if I already used the coupon when I didn't.
