Candidate for "Worst App Upgrade (=downgrade) of the Year" award. The new app workflows make all tasks harder and slower vs the old app (e.g. it does not automatically show your position on the map upon opening, you cannot slide with your fingers to set the parking time instead you have to TYPE the number of minutes, etc). What's worst, it did not allow me to end my parking earlier (despite pressing the STOP button), so it charged me for the maximum parking duration (old app easily did this).

Awful experience. Used for first time yesterday. Easy enough to use and they took the money from my GooglePay account. But it seems they keep the money for themselves and do not pass it on to the car park owner! After paying for 3 hours when I got back to the car park I had a £50 fine slapped on my car for non payment. Do not trust this app it's a con and you will lose your money.

Overall really good app. A few glitches, like the "confirm parking" screen that comes up after already confirming, and leads nowhere when you try to get out of it, so you have to force close the app. Also sometimes have a hard time bringing up the current parking event to check on time left and have double paid thinking that my payment didn't register.

Stressful! Trying to add new card and simply will not accept OTP from my bank app nor the authorisation link (getting network error messages for the latter and looping for the former with £0.01 being taken from a/c each time). Have tried to use as both registered customer or guest but still, nothing. Worst thing is the app used to work OK but something is simply going wrong & it's clearly not just me finding this issue. Ps. Even your updates don't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same probs

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. Every part of th paybyphone experience is dire. The App, the website and the telephone service are all shockingly bad. Over the past hour I've tried them all to pay for my parking, and finally the app worked long enough for me to be successful. I park all over the country, and use all the apps, all of which work faultlessly. All except paybyphone...

It takes too long to locate a meter and complete payment. Now it even times out while trying to process payment. I disputed a ticket once and won because I got a ticket before the meter guy could confirm I paid. New updates really slowed this App down. This App is terrible now. All these unexpected error messages. I sm going to message the City to use a different App.

It is extremely difficult to install and use if you are doing it on the parking lot: tiny light- grey font is almost invisible, the app does't fit well on the phone screen and need constant switch between keyboard view and app view. Finally, it is claimed to be a free app, but it added 7% to the parking cost.

This app times out after mere seconds to the extent where it is absurdly difficult to use, and likely is registering unrelated issues as timing out. It is literally easier to search for the website and navigate it and enter payment each time manually than to use this app. Please fix it, I like the company and want to continue to use your services. If you contact me after fixing it I can change the rating.

Have used app about 5 times, prior to today, without issue. Parked at a different car park, today, paid via app, aoo shows time paid till. Return to car 20 mins before deadline only to find a £50pcn. App parking history shows prior parking stays but not this kne. Either app has crashed after showing deadline of ghetes another technical issue. App is, in essence, totally untrustworthy and it may work, or it may not. The Russian roulette of the parking world...

I replaced the previous version with this one. The development team has a lot of work to do to reach at least the effectiveness level of the previous version. I hardly managed to only to pay for first time under this new version. The naming of the parking is not consistent with the naming in the previous version (which in my eyes was coorect). Eg in the older version we had Theaterparkplatz Erlangen and in this version is Erlangen Stadt. Please dot not update yet to this new version.

This is the most useful app I have on my phone. It is so easy to use and flexibility it gives to extend parking is fantastic. Using this app eliminates ANY worry of your parking time expiring and running the risk of being ticketed.

Forced to pay more. Their machines are kept in such terrible condition and are so slow that you are essentially forced to use the paybyphone app which adds a $0.25 convenience fee on top of paying for the parking. Pay parking is already a "convenience" based service!

Only works in Woolwich, Greenwich not anywhere else, with Google pay NOT credit card (required outside of where it worked). Thereafter, no longer gives option to pay by Google pay as defaults to credit card! Where it does not work cannot contact telephone number of machine as it hangs up! Practically useless otherwise.

Attempted to use to pay for parking. Does not show rates for time (presumably to encourage over parking), does not successfully process credit card (3 attempts, 3 cards, great 4G coverage) So my original review stands: "does not work, what is the point". If I "reach out to support", it is a sunk cost falacy; was quicker to buy a tin of juice with £10 and use coins, than waste another minute on this tragic app. Should integrate Google pay, offer to photo of your numberplate & "just work".

App is unusable. There's like thousand bugs. This is not a production ready, it's more like alpha version. Also, parking is more expensive through app then on the parking automat. Terrible experience.

The app doesn't even seem to be able to handle overnight charges.. Wants to charge me over four pound for parking when it's only 2 minutes till £1 debit charge is meant to kick in!!! In response: the app continues charging the day rate for however many hours selected, rather than swapping to the overnight rate once the set time is reached. The overnight rate is definately in the app as after reaching that time the price is the £1. Calculation of the correct rate to pay seems like an app issue!

Worked well until it forgot my cars and then did not allow me to add them back in again. Tried to delete my profile and never found the 'Profile' button the instructions said to find. Screen rendering on my Samsung not the best either.

Pretty poor. The search facility is next to useless, you can't just search for a place e.g. a railway station without knowing what the code is in the first place. Last week, it failed miserably to accept my payment, even when trying different cards, ended up having to login to the website to pay for parking.

It is a very buggy app. When it's working, it's quick and easy to use. When it's freezing up, crashing or giving errors, it's annoying as heck and leaves you wondering if you're going to wind up with a ticket because you can't get it to work. Often an Uninstall and reinstall are necessary to fix whatever it is doing wrong... can be very frustrating if you only have a few minutes.
