Almost every other time I log in, there's an issue with the password or the screen will not load properly or it automatically starts a repetitive restart in fast motion. Scared to uninstall then install again for fear I'll have to put in a request with paychex to setup the app. Trying to get to Task on website is a pain because the Task is not showing, but yet I get emails that I have a Task which seems to only show in the mobile app. Great! Still can't get in and next, my card will freeze. :-(
Same login problems the other reviewers noted and App keeps crashing if you try to reset a password. Just a headache and waste of time. Fix this app or, even better, integrate that function into the main app. It's silly that a second app is needed to make claims to begin with.
Absolutely Horrible The app and the website have been updated. Thier instructions for using it have not.. I have tried over 6 times to upload my receipts for my flex spending but there is no clear way to do it. I have emailed them and called as well but no response from them. I have started taking screen shots of my attempts to send them receipts. They denied my claim because they said I didn't send them my receipt. So frustrating
Great app but has a few minor issues, such as scanning item for eligibility i have a Samsung galaxy J3 and the scanning function inside the app does not work for me but works on my wife's galaxy note 5. I would love if you can resolve this issue asap. All other scanning apps or any other type of scanner works on my phone perfectly besides this one please resolve this and i will give 5 stars. Thank you!
App doesn't work anymore. We were told that to access this app we have to go through Paychex Flex account in this app. Sometimes, when I'm lucky, I get a text message with a code but, when I put the code, it doesn't go through and I have to start all over again. It's very desappointed. Unfortunately, I have to keep this Company because I have no choice. My employer is that decide that, not me. I wouldn't give not even 1 star.
Can't even get to the log in screen - opening the app immediately produces a white screen that reads "A problem has occurred. Please try again or contact your administrator." Paychex even had the audacity to send an email reminding me to "download the free, secure mobile app!"
Hate this. The other app was SO easy to use! Was doing the download to my phone and it didn't even end up on it! Edit: Thanks to the great support assistance, I am up & running & consistently have had no problems. Thankful for the help!
good luck trying to use this app. you would think it is a matter of national security. give yourself an hour to figure it out with lots of failures. get with it paychex or dont bother us. the only instructions that even come close to working are on google play, but even those are wrong but close enough to figure it out from there.
Not able to use 'forgot password' feature. It exits the app. I got a new phone. On old phone I used biometrics to log in. I don't know what my passwords are to anything, but can use 'forgot password' feature on other apps to get new passwords. Unfortunately this app doesn't allow.
Absolute Fail. Complete and total failure to work with LastPass. I gather there might be some alternate login method that is Not your standard username and password but that's where I just say No.
Most pathetic app. Why do we need 2 Apps, this one won't log in and forgot Password keeps crashing. I read lot of other users faced the same issue which means they don't bother reading reviews and fixing the issues.
I agree with all the other reviews. App crashes when you click forgot password. Finally got my password changed by calling in. But the app isn't even detected in my phone. Only way to access it is to open through the Google Play store.
I just got off the phone with a representative from Paychex and received a temporary password and username. I opened the app and typed it in. I made it to the second page to make a "New" username/password and wala, I made it to the third page. So i typed in my "NEW" username/password and it declined me stating none is correct so I typed in my temporary one just to see, nope nothing... Hitting the uninstall icon is by far the best feature for this app! I recommend this to NO ONE!!!!
One of the worst apps EVER. Can't take a photograph of the receipt with the app. If I choose photos, it loads my screenshot images and not my actual camera roll. Such a worthless piece of garbage. Why even bother? Just use the web.
This app is making me mad. Why does it make me login in, verify a code and then takes me back to the same login in screen. 6x in a row. FIX THIS APP PRONTO!!!! It's obviously useless if you can't get pass the login screen!!!!!!!
After sign on, after confirming 2FA, it goes back to sign on page. Un8nstall, reinstall, acts the same way. App doesn't work as intended.
I went through all steps to finally get into the app. this is the worst login usability I have ever experienced in my life. As a software PM that means something, this is literally the biggest s**t ever. Worked for a few months, now it is bricked - WORST APP EVER.
Logs you out even when just app switching. It's often outdated when looking at photos to upload receipts. Remember me functionality doesn't work.
Can't log in. When I try it just sends me back to the log in page. No, it does not say wrong username or password and I have been using this for a while with no issues until the last mo th or so.
Totally useless. It doesn't recognise my username or password, and if I try Forgot Password, the app crashes. Don't bother with this, just bookmark the website instead.
White screen contact administrator. Wouldn't let me login and I was set up for this worked last week for one time only then said unrecognized device and haven't been able to login since.
Just installed the app and it wont even launch. Just sits there on a white page. The other reviews and the low star rating are spot on. What a waste of time
It's impossible to login on this mobile app! Confirmation codes get sent to login but yet still can't login. Complete garbage!
Annoying to use and doesn't carry data over for recurring expenses. I hope you like putting the same thing in each month manually.
Revised review- I finally managed to locate the login credentials within the Paychex benefit webportal. Seems like an added layer of complexity with no obvious reward. App interface seems clean, will update the review once I've used it a bit more.
I find it almost impossible to use this app. I have to call and redo my username and password every single time I use it. I once even set up a quick access code, but it never works.
This has got to be the absolute WORST login experience ever. Completely incompatable with LastPass. Unable to use anything resembling a secure password that LastPass would generate. You have to HUNT to find what your username is (as it's not the same as anything else that you use.. nor is it easy to find. THEN once you change your password you get to do it all over again to log back in. I have no idea how good the App actually is at it's taken me 30 minutes just to get logged in.
