This app has 2 major flaws: 1) It keeps sending me a reminder to clock back in 30 minutes after lunch. I can't set this to a different time length, so it's completely useless to me and distracts me. 2) It forcibly logs me off after some short period of time. When it does this, the app looks like it's crashing. It tries to load a page, fails, and then makes me press a button before it boots me to the login page. That process wastes 10 seconds. Instead of taking 10 seconds to fail, why not just boot me to the login page after x amount of time directly. Stop wasting my time.
Most painful app I have used for a while. Trying to complete basic "checklists" as required by the app and my employer and keep ending up in loops where it doesn't think I have completed the couese, and tells me to do it again. The course included tiny labels that I had to push which described the function of basic buttons. Who would have thought the "W-2" button would show my W-2?? Thank the lord I managed to press the tiny button to inform me, it only took 5 attempts because of how small it is
Absolutely worthless The best thing about the app is being able to punch in and out from my phone. Unfortunately, every time I try to punch in or out, I get an error message saying punches not allowed from my location. Even though several of my coworkers are able to when standing right next to me. I contacted human resources and they said that the geo-fence is set so it should work anywhere within the building. I also get a message saying it was designed for an older version of android.
I've been having ongoing issues with the 2-Step Verification process, I contacted HR and Paycom and it's going on 3 weeks now, since no action has been made. I've emailed the individual that submitted the original ticket order and have gotten nothing resolved. This has become very tedious and an inconvenience.
Had some trouble getting into the application before hand, because my password didn't match. Had to make some calls and change it so I could get in, second time around it worked correctly. Above all it is a good app, and I'm using it more frequently so I can understand it better before and after work.
It's ok I guess... I absolutely do not like that I'm no longer getting my pay early since my company switched to paycom, especially with the terribly oppressive semi monthly payment system they already use! Uggghhh paychex always gave us our money early! I also do not like that if payday lands on Sunday, instead of going ahead and giving us our money a couple days early, we have to wait until the that Monday like UGGGGHHhhh
This app has made expense reporting so much easier than the old way of holding onto receipts, manually tracking mileage, etc. Pretty simple to navigate. The only issue I've had was in accessing some of my older payroll info, and in making my selections for tax withholding. But for everyday things, it's great!
This app takes for ever to load simple pages, button presses don't register, and can't tell that I am in the app instead of on the web page, so constantly displays a banner that I should download the app. It also calls the editable time sheet "read only".
This app is atrocious. Firced to stay later than my sceduled time causes the app to "miss punch" your clock out. Once geo location is turned on you can't clock in at those lications and must repeatedly attempt to clock in for it to finally stick. And then, as a 3rd shift employee, I can't submit my clockout time because the system isn't setup to recognize what a 3rd shift looks like. This app is as FUBAR as the company i currently work for.
App does not work as it should. Key features that we are told to use through the app, are missing. Times are incorrect. Overall bad experience for something that should be simple.
messed up W2s for majority of my company, costing people tens of thousands. not user-friendly and super slow to load anything. the worst part is the back end. even with "admin privileges" you have to call, during business hours, to do something as simple as change the name of your clock. the clocks are always breaking and not syncing and force closing. if your company is thinking about switching, do NOT switch to this system. nothing but headaches and customer service is NOT 24/7. not worth it.
Very informative and has many useful functions simple to use and my app is fast if your app is functioning slowly it could be a number of issues unrelated to paycom such as available internet, phone type, howMany on-going windows and other apps are running on for no reason 😀
Great overall. I would appreciate some saved clicks. In two spots. The first is when I clock in. And leave the app. But don't close out of it. When I come 4 hours later to clock out that I get a warning that my session has timed out. I don't need that. I just need the login screen there. I have to click past the warning to get to the login screen. Second, it would be nice if the fingerprint reader was active at the login screen rather than having to click on the fingerprint icon first.
Trash app, hate having to use it everyday. Lags, doesnt load, or just doesnt let you clock in and then you gotta go back and make corrections. TRASH! NO STARS would be a better option
Can no longer login via fingerprint. It refuses to connect to my data or my wifi to complete the connection. Literally almost everything work related is on this app.
I have to say, Paycom is one of my more favorable Payroll companies. The interface is very user-friendly and allows me to navigate quite easily. One of the features I would say I enjoy and use the most- is the mobile app. I love being able to clock in from my phone. Especially when I'm in a hurry or running a bit late. I can punch in from the parking lot as I am coming in instead of having to boot up the comp and punch in that way. Overall, I give 4 out of 5 stars. But I don't easily give 5's!
Would not recommend. It's very slow to open and not user friendly. The language used to navigate would only make sense to the programmers and not normal people. Nobody at my office likes it and everyone has trouble using it. Plus it's really annoying that sometimes you have to touch the fingerprint icon on the front screen to activate the sensor. Every other app on earth just works when you touch the fingerprint sensor.
My company decided to go with this app and eliminate paper timecards... so far, it's OK, except for it constantly popping up saying to download the app, that I am already on! Very annoying. Also, it keeps saying to choose how to receive my W2, but the "Save" button is grayed out. Can only choose "Cancel."
So far this is the best payroll company I have ever used. You make sure everything I need to complete is done, your updates on my pay and anything that needs to be done are completed quickly so I know exactly what is going on. I like that we clock in and out with you, I had to use another company that the company I worked for did that so mistakes were made. Overall this seems to be user friendly app that I'm not dreading having to get into.
Easy way to clock in and out for the day. Great options to access everything related to my time keeping,as well as making an easy to understand way to choose or change various other benefits and services offered.
Great application has absolutely everything in one app. Your clock in and out for work, your work schedule as well as documentations, and paycheck. It is a must have app definitely 5+ stars!
It usually works pretty good for me. This is the first time I used the "time off request" menue. It asks me "to choose an acural type".... It won't let me. I cannot get the "time off request" to work for me.
Same as onboarding haven't received any emails even with me using forgot login and password. My suggestion if you have to work with either avoid at all costs. They are great at giving the run around👍they more seem to pretend to care then actually doing anything.AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY!! Their employees are the only reason they have 5 stars so don't believe what you see
I cannot begin to tell you how much I despise your app and services. Our organization switched to Paycom claiming its better and easier. IT'S Not. Garbage app. So many notifications, especially email notifications which you cannot unsubscribe from or disable. The last update has made the app worse. The buttons to clock in/out/lunch have turned into unidentifiable white blocks. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME MAKING THIS REVIEW AND THE FIRST REVIEW WAS REMOVED.
I sent an email to this corporation to try send me my right send me my Texas information but on the application I've been trying to look for it but it's not in there even if you downloaded it before that before it's supposed to be right there as I list it makes no sense why they keep changing it unless the try to make the person look stupid
I've been using this app for a few months now and it's helped me a lot. There were some issues in the begining but things have ran smoother once I got the hang of it. I like the fact that I can keep track of my hours and approve my time sheets. I also like how its more simple to get paperwork done, trainings, time off requests and keep record of my benefits. I'm glad the company I worked for switched to this app so far.
Easy to use, super convenient. Only thing that is a bit difficult to use is the section that allows you to figure out how much your pay check will be. I find this section unclear, other than that this app is awesome.
The app works well. Everything I need is there. The only little issue I have is it could be better arranged. Sometimes it takes a while to find the info I'm looking for because it doesn't seem quite laid out logically. For example, Payroll should be the top menu as that is the most commonly accessed.
Has been very helpful in checking on my payroll and check issues. I've had many issues with my company, and this app has been instrumental in tracking down those issues and making it right. It is challenging though when it came to using and setting up vacation time.
Better than ADP, which isn't a high bar. For what problems it may have solved over that, it has its own to replace them. I use the app as little as possible and for only the most basic tasks. The web site isn't much better, but helps in navigating the hodgepodge of components. Was a clunky transition when we switched and still seems messy. Have felt more micro-managed since we switched too, and I'm a manager.
