This app is perfect for stall holders who don't consistently go to markets. Eftpos machine can get pretty pricey! This app makes my life as a stall holder so much easier. I have had a few days where the app didn't want to work, but overall the positives definitely outweigh this. 95% of the time it has worked without any issue. Definitely recommend.
I have been using this app for about a year. It is an excellent app that does all I need it to at markets. The only improvements I would recommend would be the ability to use a card without a cvc number. Here in NZ we have a few people who don't have credit cards. Also the ability to have funds transferred into my bank sooner than 5 working days would make this app pretty close to perfect, hence the 4 star rating. I constantly recommend this app to other businesses.
I have used this app for a long time and never had a problem with it. It is great for the times I want to sell books after a speaking engagement and people don't carry cash (I never carry change!) I'd definitely recommend it. I already had a stripe account and was looking for something to add to my phone which would connect to it and yet be free of fees, so Pay Now was a perfect solution. It sends a receipt straight to the email of the payer if they want that, which is convenient for me - less paperwork to do.
Whenever I try to make a payment as soon as I add the email address it drops out and doesn't allow me to charge the card. What am I doing wrong? I have attempted to do this numerous times without success. And there is no fingerprint scanner so this feature mute.
The PayNow support team were SUPER helpful in trying to recreate a silly error I was making. It turns out the issue was that the security was so good it didn't just bypass the issue - it did its job and kept the transaction safe and secure. The support agent didn't just bypass my issue either. The agent went to great lengths to try recreate my weird anomoly and solved it all in the process. I got an immediate response with some very thorough investigations. And just like that, zip, zap my transactions are whizzing - Easy as! So grateful for the help in getting me going with a pretty, safe and extremely usable app. YAY! Thanks!
I love the simplicity of the app. It works as a simple gateway for merchants using the stripe payment gateway. All you do is login to your account. This works to hand off to frontline workers as they can take payments without viewing customer past info. This is for simple 1 time transactions as well.
This is an excellent app - I use Stripe for my online store on my website but I often have people call me because they want to pay over the phone - with this app it is really easy to take payments, wherever you are at the time - great for small businesses like mine.
Very handy being able to charge customers internationally. Quick easy and super simple and fast to use. Also flags suspect customers and blocks cards if necessary

garbage... after you enter all the details it asks for fingerprint... then just wipes everything. totally suckful
holding on to my account payouts for past 7 days i think its two weeks now it just gets getting postponed everytime i should have just waited for the shorter process of a PayPal here account. there customer stripe support is not responsive which is kinda scary when people have your $

Quick, easy and it works
As a small stall holder, this app is exactly what is needed to take payments via credit card. Having the ability to offer this form of payment has definitely improved sales. It saves on using pricy EFTPOS machines with monthly charges, especially when you don't know if you will get a sale on the day or not. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to take debit card payments that don't have a cvc number. I have lost a few sales due to customers not having a credit card or cash to pay for the items. Overall well worth having.
