Absolutely love PB Tech, always my #1, I mainly just shop PC parts, which they have a huuuge selection of. Great staff, always willing to help and they reply very promptly, especially through FB messenger. But the app is a bit slower than the website, also seems to use quite a lot of data compared to other shopping apps. Maybe loading high resolution images where they're not really needed?
Took my money but didn't place my order. When I was making an order I was playing with Poli, but when I finished confirming and the transaction went though the app went into maintenance. Edit: Support was able to help and complete the order, they had a good can do attitude. Perhaps a feature to warn customers of incoming maintenance could be implemented in the future.
This app is so slow and takes forever to load every page. I love pb tech and buy a lot of items from the store. But this app needs to be optimised. And before you tell me to restart my oh one like I have seen in a few reviews, that is not the problem, the app is just slow.
Promising, but UI bugs mean the website on the browser is slightly better option. Website has same usability flaws when using in landscape mode on phone.
PBtech is the best placs to shop tech in NZ. But this app is so painfully slow and crashes constantly like when I replace a cart with my lists or search and scroll through items. It definitely cannot be my phone and I have no issues with other apps just this one. Please sort this out.
The images won't load properly. Keeps on loading but when I go back it shows up just before showing the previous screen. Some images flickering when scrolling. This is a recent problem and I tried restarting the phone.
don't often review apps, but this thing is persistent. slow and buggy as hell, would think a "tech" place would have a smooth running app, "trying" to run on Samsung s9 unfortunately have to give it a star. users just use the website.
Great app, easy to use. Could you guys add a feature to zoom? Sometimes it's hard to make out certain details in the pictures. Also the option to download photos would be nice. Otherwise 4 stars for now.
It's same as browser but the thing is I was on pc builder thing.. n options other than preset couldn't get selected n shows total price way higher than the items selected in front.. not hate comment just trying to be helpful for the must changes..
Absolute useless garbage app. Keeps saying my email and password do not match ecen after resetting my password with the app multiple times. If they cant manage such a simple tech issue, what else have they botched with this stupid app. Not impressed at all
Great app, could be faster, but it's overall really good and easy to navigate, PBTech has always been the most reliable and trustworthy place to buy PC parts and other tech related service's in NZ and at decent prices compared to other places.
Works well most part but I used the chat function and the keyboard is blocking the text field so you cannot see what you are typing.
Giving you guys another go, last time a staff member was rather rude in his replying, like didn't give a stuff, we'll see what happens this time around. By the way phone works brilliantly with volte, the staff member couldn't be bothered about volte, just said return the phone we'll reimburse you, yeah right,
App is good. Unfortunately ordered a Chromebook and it came with a faulty screen. Must return it to be either fixed or replaced. Little bit upset because my study starts soon and to have a faulty Chromebook arrive is unfortunate. Good app though.
good for browsing, but I coud not make a purchase. during checkout after entering shipping details, the app would not proceed to billing. edit: a different day and it now works.
Awesome staff assist when I purchased my new phone. Great items stock you will never run out of words to describe they have mostly what you want in terms of technology. Keep going on their shop in tauranga to buy phone, laptop, speaker etc. Thanks guys for the service. Thumbs up
Really good App with frequent updates and improvements. very responsive and easy to browse/shop on. a pure adrenaline rush from all the way from install to checkout.
App appears to be for Australian market as items I am interested show they won't ship until some later date but in you go to website direct shows items will ship same or next day. Most misleading and if in a hurry look to another firm and pay more. Surely not a problem to have separate apps for each market.
An efficient complement to an efficient e-tailer. Honestly the website works fine in mobile browser but this app is convenient. PBtech has continued to improve & has become my trusted first port of call for any electronics purchase.
This app is slow to load and has a stupid design that doesn't work it needs a complete redesign of the whole app or just needs a new app to replace this one with a better redesign that's easy to use and actually works
UI is a bit laggy and it uses up a ton of bandwidth but other than that it's a pretty good online shop and pb tech has some pretty good prices
Have used this site with a web browser for years and very good site. Installed the app and found it too slow in comparison so have uninstalled it. Stick to using the mobile browser version.
Can sign in with the sign in with Google button. Works on the website but not in the app.
App is great but custom PC builder doesn't load over wifi or data, hopefully it's fixed in the next few weeks or I will just take my money elsewhere.
Great app but pretty slow and doesn't retain all of the user data.
New Zealand's best tech store. (PlayTech is close behind.) But they sell gundam model kits!!!
Never seen an app so slow to load. Runs more like a webpage. Almost embarrassing for a tech online shopping app.
Used to work so very well, but I've been having trouble in this one recently. Whenever I try to open (tap on) a product, it will just keep on loading but will not open entirely. And when I exit, it will briefly display the product info before going back to my search results. I thought it was my internet connection or the phone but nah, because the website works perfectly well.
