PBA® Bowling Challenge

Cool game. Great physics. Just seems odd that you can only play three games at a time and then you have to wait for your bar to recharge. Boggles my mind that you would make a game that limits how much you can play. Just, WOW. Not to mention the constant ad interruptions. I hadn't played enough to determine if making in-game purchases were worth it but I'm just annoyed. Moving on.

Completely bugged synchronization makes it impossible to play this game between devices. Each time the game is run, a "save conflict" appears, on any device, with the possibility of restoring the newest local save, or an older cloud one. On a single device, it would be just an annoying yet skippable error, popping up due to bad coding - an obnoxious bug, but not a game-breaking one. However, since the game defaults to an older cloud copy, the bug makes is impossible to restore the progress made on one device if the game is run from another device.

This game is just okay. Kinda frustrating and inconsistent. It's a little ridiculous how often I hit the pocket perfectly, but end up with a split. Sometimes in the same game, using the same ball, the hook is extremely inconsistent, I'll barely touch the hook and it hooks way too much, but then on my next roll, I'll hold down the hook, but the ball barely moves. Also, when I try to pick up a 1 pin spare, sometimes the ball will touch the pin (barely), but the pin won't move, that's annoying.

I'm very impressed highly recommend this game to anyone that has an interest in bowling, have to really pay attention cuz this is really really close to the real thing you control every aspect of your roll. The only thing is the directional bottoms on either side and I'll send an in app message about this but you'll see what I'm talking about for me I just don't use them it's easier and the special balls you get they're ok but I'd rather do it without it shows talent and real skill. Awesome game

Game is great but multiplayer has become very buggy since the last update. If the servers connect (big if), it often shows the name of the last person you played against rather than your own; obviously this is an issue. Additionally, you are forced to sign-in, over and over and over. I will revise if the issues are fixed but, as of now, multiplayer is entirely broken.

Probably the best physics in the bowling category. Pins don't wobble around ridiculously and fall 10s after the ball strikes. Oil patterns make a difference in how a ball breaks when throwing a hook, etc... And the devs are very generous in giving you options collect the premium pins to get the good stuff ahead of the leveling system. Very F2P friendly with minimal ads. Interesting control schemes. Two to choose from. And you can mix and match to suit your style. Its a good time

I have played this game off and on for several years. I'm at 1870 max energy, completed all but the Elias cup with gold star, only showing at level 57 and only have 26 bowling balls in my inventory. I've lost about 50 balls even though I always save progress. I used to have MANY more balls to use. It's not possible to have that much energy and progress with nothing to show for it.

This game is fantastic! It takes practice to gain proficiency, and just like with physical bowling, each alley is different, each oil pattern is different. It takes razor-sharp accuracy to bowl a strike every time, but it can be done. I've bowled 12-"300" games myself, so far. If you like bowling, I highly recommend it; if you'd like to check out bowling, here is a low-risk way to experience the game!

Great graphics decent bowling and a fun game. The reason for two stars is there is an add after every match. I understand adds but also kicking you out of your match and you have to rejoin every time gets old and I will be Uninstaller for this reason I played this in the past and there wasn't all the adds I'll find a better bowling game or at least one with the option to remove adds.

I've been playing for a long time. New people at Concrete? Challenges noticeably more difficult in the past few weeks. More splits, lower scores, less ball control and more lost games than previously. Some lanes have very little ball control now regardless of what control the ball says it has.

It's very addictive. My only complaint is the splits. Any remote light hit results in a split it seams which is almost impossible to make because there isn't much pin reaction. Even a 3-10 there is no ball movement to bounce off the 3 into the 10. Overall a fun game though. Gonna try to get friends to download so I can play them!

Game does not have a paid feature to disable the long and constant ads. Turning off wifi and mobile data, ads still load..which means game installs these ads (and whatever else) onto your phone. Developer says you have to make purchases in-game to temporarily disable them. Unacceptable. Game also "auto aims" single pins which tells me I am not playing with my own skill or consistency. Game is fun but is absolutely ruined with the 30s to 1m long ads.

I find your suggestion of paying to remove the ads between games "temporarily" humorous! It's only a game & even though it's a good game, I have found another with less ads & great physics of play as well! I'm on a fixed income & can NOT waste $ when there are games that I enjoy just as much if not more for FREE! The only thing your response has resolved is that I can now Uninstall PBA Challenge to save space on my phone for apps I don't have to constantly feed $ I don't have! Thank You

Very accurate bowling with sounds and pin drop. It is something you can get pretty good at. Ads are always after a full 10 frams and it is a good break then to regroup and try again.

It lags yet the point of playing in leagues is for someone that has experience playing so now why instructions pop up every 15 seconds is annoying.... thanks. Oh and also the virtual aspect of the game is great!!!

The strike ratio for when you hook a ball is far less than reality and you'll leave a flat 10 nine times out of ten. Bowl straight and youll strike nine times out of ten. That makes the game boring quickly and just like every bowling game. Game is also unrealistic as balls can travel up to 30 miles per hour; even PBA pros only get about the low 20s. The game is also heavily ad driven until you make an in-game purchase.

Only reason I will not give it a 5 star is only due to the gold pins I mean I get it that the gold pins are hard to get because they can buy the balls. But if your using them to try and gain energy so you can just finish out a tournament would be great. Also why do you ha e to pay the high energy each round of tournament like you paid it once to enter you should be able to go through it all But thats just me. Other than this would recommend.

The bowling in of itself is the best ive had in any app. The problem is the golden pin system. This app is clearly more designed for you to install and play other games more than use this app. Plus the energy system which means you can only play two games every few hours is also annoying.

Great game really fun and distracting. Be careful full tye menu button is in a bad place. You can tap it in the middle of a shot, and mess up your shot.

Great game, challenging, I love bowling, wish I can put my name, instead of the name they gave me. I wish I can put my picture instead of the one I have now, I love this bowling game, very addictive, challenging, great sports game, all season, all year around

This the most accurate, motioned based bowling I've played. There doesn't seem to be any exaggerated movement with throwing ball down lane, nor with pin falls. What you give is what you get when you swipe to bowl accurately, I can't say enough about that. Not so much the case with other bowling games.

Deleted the app. Liked the game but the intrusive ads were ridiculous. Most ads had to be cleared 3 different times, 1 ad was pornographic, and then I had 2 ads that could not be cleared unless you actually clicked to go to the play store link for the advertised app. No thanks, not worth it.

It's a fun, challenging game. Ad's aren't too terrible especially compared to other bowling games. I can't speak for multi player mode because I haven't played it yet but career is a good way to earn tickets for balls and get the hang of it.

It's a great bowling game. Most realistic app I have used. However some of the pocket hits resulted in unexpected spare attempts. In over 50 years of bowling ( not pro) I never saw any spares like these. Otherwise great game.They need to work on spares. Never seen combinations of pins they have i have been bowling for over 55years. I still feel work needs done on spares. Like a real bowling alley. Still believe spares are unrealistic .

I just started playing. So far so good! My second game stunk but my fifth and last game before this review was great, even finally got my first turkey! Since I cannot use a real bowling alley due to health issues, playing bowling on my computer and on my mobile is my only option, and bowling is my most favorite sport!

Several times after replacing my phone all of my progress was lost! I contacted their customer care center and within 24 they got back to me and restored my stats to their previous scores. They really know what customer care is really about. I would give them 10 stars if they were available !!!!

Enjoy this game my opinion best bowling game on the app store. Only thing i would tweak would be more golden pins on daily challenge when ya win, and more tickets when ya win a final, have to win so many games to get enough to buy bowling balls ya need to complete challenges. But otherwise i love the game.

Great game. Takes a little while to earn good free items, but once you do it gets much faster and easier to earn even more free items. Good game play and graphics are nice. No reason for anything less than 5 stars. Ads are like 15 seconds or less after a game. No biggy.
