App used to be pretty good, but the latest updates are all over the place and it is no longer easy to use and navigate. You can't change the preferred stores it thinks you use, so your promos and specials are always wrong. You also can't see the current specials without digging deep into the app (used to be front/centre when the app opened). The sections and functionality is not easily identified/separated so it has no flow. It is just a hot mess now.
App will not open on phone! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and it still will not open. "An unknown error has occurred" is all it says over and over. Very frustrating! It's extremely annoying as I'm missing out on Optimum Points! Terrible app!
Not sure who thought adding an autoplay video to an app I need to open in store (on Canadian data) was a good idea but they couldn't be more wrong. This app keeps getting more cluttered with each update. So much junk too see a handful of offers for things I've bought once or never. Developers clearly don't care how much people dislike the changes as they keep adding more. Very disappointing.
Tried to transfer my points from Esso, they seem to be lost in space. My phone has the latest updates, I have the latest update of PC Optimum, it won't let me input a claim on the app for missing points. I go from one page to another it gives me "an unexpected error has occurred" FIX THIS APP stop making excuses. Oh and give me my points back.
Latest "update" where you "moved things around" came with a "Your points are here" pop up message and a "Got it" button that doesn't work. The pop up goes away when you "get it" but keeps constantly coming back. THIS APP WON'T "GET IT" THAT I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! Did you get it? I got it! "All bugs that were fixed in this release were too small for the eye to see. [...] the app is now better than it was." Your "bugs" are elephants. Better? No it isn't! Just read feedback here.
I HATE this app! Over the years, this app has caused me hours and days of mental anguish and distress. Ever since Loblaws' took over, this app constantly malfunctions. Every month or so, the app crashes and will not accept my password. So I have to set up my account - with a new password - all over again! The last straw was today, when for the tenth time and for NO reason, it would not accept my password. I am outraged! Loblaws should give me some bonus points to make up for my wasted time!
for months now the app has displayed an error and never loads my offers! says "Our apologies, an unknown error has occurred" Logged out and back in, Uninstalled app and reinstalled many times. always updated. With this error the app is entirely non functional. Edit: I have tried to view the offers tab on the desktop website on my computer as well now, the same error message shows. Is this just a very messy way of them phasing out the PC points system??
App worked fine until I upgraded my phone to the Pixel 6 Pro. Now for over a week simply get an error msg telling me it's not me it's them and to refresh. Nothing works and the worst us I have submitted multiple complaints and have had absolutely no return contact. It's already cost me at least 5000 points as I haven't been able to scan my vard at checkout and PC doesn't seem to care. I would rate it 0 stars if I could.
Absolutely terrible app. When keeps saying "an unknown error has occurred, please keep refreshing". It has not shown anything or worked for weeks now. If NO stars was an option, l'd do that. And developer: don't bother answering if it'll be the same copy paste response, the link does absolutely nothing, your app is garbage.
I faithfully load my offers every Thursday morning. About half of the offers are useful and reflect my shopping habits. Unfortunately, most times the points are not being awarded, which means I have to start a points inquiry for missing points from a transaction. To add insult to injury, the "investigation" takes place after the points expire and I am told my transaction does not qualify. Thankfully, I kept a screenshot and am waiting to hear back from customer service. Repeated issue; terrible.
I really enjoy getting the points . also appreciate that there's a choice and PC make sure that all my cards are linked and connected together .The regular weekly offers that assist me to achieve maximum points. They pay me to use the everyday banking as well as the credit card. The big banks of Canada charge me to use accounts. PC financial pays me so they get my business.
Great app, but it would be nice to be able to delete the flyers you don't view for others you do. I would like No Frills and Independent automatically come up, but can't get the Shoppers flyer off to allow Independent in. I always have to search it up each week.
This app used to work well and it was very convenient. But, for the past two to three months, it hasn't been working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but no luck. It gives the error "something unexpected went wrong," with no option to report the error. The most frustrating thing is that I can't see my points balance. It says I have zero points. My account was hacked previously, and I am worried that it has happened again and my points (140K) have been stolen. Why isn't the developer fixing it?
Can't seem to change/delete selections for 'Save for Later' in 'Offers' - please fix this, or let me know where I missed this option, thx. Also, need ability to merge YOUR "Shopping List" with OURS - whether ©Reebee, or whichever is used, so we can see OUR LIST ENTIRE ON ONE PAGE, THX.
App was working fine until March 31, 2022 when I tried to use the app after a purchase to accumulate points. The damn app gave me an error message stating "our apologies an unknown error has occurred" I cleared the cache, force stop, restart phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but to no avail. I was so upset the app just had to give me problems at that particular time. Right now I'm submitting a one star until this issue is resolved.
The optimum points rewards system is really good but the App has glitch or something. I have to always contact the support to add points as the points are only added for the transaction and not for the bonus that goes on.
My points are not loading. I have to save my receipts and go into the app and file a missing points inquiry. This has been a problem for a long time and there doesn't seem to be any progress on fixing this issue. Maybe you don't really want people to collect their points?
First off, don't go treating us as if we're stupid. The sheer fact the AI chat bubble can't be moved out of the way or turned off. Then we have it constantly reminding us to tap on if we need it's asinine useless basic scripted help responses. It's as stupid as Loblaws email response team who don't bother reading our emails and respond with a canned message regarding how to load our offers. When it has nothing to do with our inquiry. Honey I have 5M points. I know how to load offers.
The functionality of PC Optimum is brilliant....for them. When you buy groceries, you have to play with the app EVERY WEEK to "load offers", otherwise, you won't earn ANY points. Sounds like a great way to force traffic to their app, when they could just auto load offers for when you shop. Program built for them, not for you. Better to go somewhere where they just give you points based on $ value.
This has been nothing but problems, missing points, points not being added when the card has been scanned, uninstall then reinstall and still, PROBLEMS! It doesn't work! FIX IT!
As usual the PC app doesn't work and won't load offers. A constant message of error and now with the redo of the app, it seems my points have disappeared. Ridiculous again, like my previous review.
Terrible. I keeps saying "an unknown error has occurred." And the developers don't seem to be doing anything about it and when I reached out to them, no response or they automatically closed my case. Ridiculous. If 0 stars was an option, I'd give it that. Edit- got a response from the developer, only to send me to the same, awful customer service form that was again, automatically rejected and nothing was done about it. This app is the worst. Their customer service is terrible.
I haven't been able to see offers in weeks now.. so what's the point in using this card if I can't even see what the weekly deals are ! The app has an error message and if I refresh or uninstall and re install it still doesn't work! Very frustrating. Please fix this problem as it seems to be effecting a lot of consumers.
