PC Remote (Beta)

I needed something that allows me to send keystrokes to my laptop to control a Prezi presentation or a non-powerpoint presentation. I was very disappointed with all the apps that advertise themselves as "Powerpoint controllers". This app worked effortlessly and I can send keystrokes to my laptop with ease. If there's a negative aspect here it would be the UI. You guys need to review it, particularly the server UI. Excellent app nevertheless.

It's good and easy to use and I would gove this easily a 5-star if not because this. I used this to connect on my laptop because a few keys on the keyboard were unusable. It was all good but for some reason, I cannot use the features anymore after I opened an app or game on my laptop eventhough it was clearly said it's still connected. If this problem can be fixed, I will gladly leave a 5-star review and recommend this to my friend.

The only problem is that I can't control a PowerPoint presentation or any other software presentation without the mouse arrow. I would love to be able to move between slides in a presentation for example without having to use the mouse, just by pressing on the arrows (in presenter mode for example); while having my presentation on the tablet like it is. And also sometimes while playing a video in PowerPoint it can bug on the tablet. But all in all great great application

This app is great, I use it all the time now. The only problem I have is in the Desktop view is that I can not go to my second screen, but that is okay for now because it is not too bad of an issue. I also have one suggestion to have customizable screens or to have a way to also play games from this app. For example I tried to use this for Minecraft and when I keyed in "w" it did not register as an attempt to move forward and instead went straight to the chat. Just a suggestion, definitely not something I need.

I couldnt wish for greater productivity than this app provides, i now have the ability to use my desktop while sitting on the couch and its even made a fantastic xbmc remote. Downside - its a bugger when your wifi signal drops. This is my first 5 stars ever cos it deserves it

Very satisfied with the overall performance of app. The only thing is sometimes my phone becomes out of sync quite frequently and having to re connect to the computer quite often but only loose like 3 second in real life. Good work can't wait for updates

Excellent. Does exactly what i was looking for. And use password only have to do it first time saves lots of dramas. For people with reconnection issues might be worth making PC ip address static if on wireless home network, just a suggestion. As restarting computer can change computers ip address.

Quick question, anywhere else than paypal you can buy this software. For those with no wifi but mobile hotspot, go to pc network settings, and get your ip address. Also the remote software will tell you the ip. Now create a password and apply. Connect your pc to your mobile hotspot, and in the app on phone select + at the bottom of screen. Now enter the ip address and password. Connect and enjoy. For others, this software is free so stop complaining. Works on Win 10.

try splashtop I was not allowed to add more text, so I say splashtop is 1000% on this app. they have a free version that works. I like it. It's faster (feels like working on the host direct) and seems to need a LOT less data transfer. All keystrokes actually work. I also have had NO support from PC Remote, so hgelp can't be worse.

Will not work with my Win 10 PC and Sony Xperia. I tried searching for a solution. First suggestion was changing from private to public. I did so by tinkering with regedit in my pc. After a restart, my phone detected the PC then the app crashed after trying to connect. Then again, the other solution was going back to a private network. That got me no where. I wasted an hour trying to make this work. I will uninstall now.

I installed app on PC and on my phone LG Google Nexus 5. When I opened app on phone it showed me a list of devices connected via Wifi. When I tried to connect to my PC, app on my phone was minimized and nothing happened. On PC installed Windows 7 x64 pro. Also we tried to connect with Xiaomi 3 phone. Same issue appeared. Both mobile devices have Android 6.0.1 OS.

I would love to give 5 stars for the final product. Some bugs here and there I guess, eg I cannot type enter and back delete key on samsung s5 using default keypad for desktop view. Given the beta, some suggessions for much needed feautures: 1- stream audio from phone to the pc. 2- favourite functions that we previously used. 3- i will update later

Nothing else to say. Seamless connecting to the server, responsive even with a bad WiFi connection, great features. I cannot wait until the full complete version of this comes out, hopefully they will add more features such as webchat through the phone camera and microphone and also media streaming between the 2 devices

Most cool and superb app.. this app is too good and with this app now I can controll my pc in desktop view,mouse contrl keyboard,power everything..every thing...If you have this app in phone then no need to use pc manually bcz with this you can completely controll your pc each and everything without touching your pc.. mind blowing..

It's a good app except you have to delete recently found server and search again for it to work. When you try to use recently found it asks for a password but I did not setup a password. One this is fixed I will definitely give this 5 stars and change this review. This app does a lot of stuff and works great once you get past the connection problem.

This app works as the screen shot and descriptions indicate. I've used other apps like it but this is the only good free one. Using this app to set up PC on the big screen for some family members who are not tech savvy and its perfect. I'm making donation to developer because it is a good app and the developer is actively working to make it even better.

Still waiting for the upcoming "connect via internet" and the YouTube feature. Also it looks soooo good on the pictures here (dark theme) but mine still has the ugly ugly old one even though my app is updated, and i could not find any settings to change the theme either. (Phone: Nexus 5x)

This prolly one of the best apps of all time when it comes down to computer and smart phone connectivity.... Man this helps a lot when u dont feel like getting up and your laptop is connected to a tv.... LOVE IT NO ISSUES AT ALL SO FAR

Have the windows phone pro version. No service on the phone just have one. While the droid version is almost as good there are a few minor differences due to lack of proper version here. If they release the pro version, I'll be content. Edit: Just to specify, I mean the file management on droid doesn't work. Can't view and open files unless I'm opening manually on desktop view. Windows does with ease :/ Edit a day later: if we could get the option to choose our colors that'd be great. Green isn't me.

Interface is poor, having to switch too many screens and go through too many actions to go from moving the mouse curser to using the backspace key or changing the system volume. It works, but there are much better options out there. Wasn't very well thought out.

its awsome but there is a problem when i open desktop view , the mouse pointer is unaccurate on the screen if you fix this this app will boost to a whole new level in ways to bring your pc anyware in your home , also the lag is annoying -_- .

Needed a remote to turn the volume down on 2 year olds you tube without causing distress from him thinking I was shutting it off. Snuck this program on the computer (got yelled at for messing with it) and now I am happily in secret control. I am also a bit amazed at all of the functionality the app provides. I just needed volume control but now I can do so much more (without yelling and screaming).

I really like this app... It's easy to use most times and is very handy. There's a few problems with this app but once those issues are fixed it'll be great! The multi media apps sometimes don't work with the media players on the web but when it do this app will be excellent and get 5 star rather than 4.

It contains all controls I looked for a remote control app, and even more. Possibility of realview of pc at smartphone screen is just awesome. Think about adding an option of streaming beside video, the sound from pc to smartphone. And maybe improve realview (right now video is streamed like pictures that change). But this is just an add-in for your awesome remote application! You have recommandations from me.

I was using Unified Remote before I discovered this. I get constant connection drops when using Unified Remote, but with the server for this app installed on my notebook, this app works perfectly. The UI definitely needs improvement, but the most important thing is the app stays connected to the server and it does not drain my phone's battery the way Unified Remote does. One thing I would like to see is a better Windows Media Center remote with better control. Excellent start!!!

Windows remote connection wouldn't work so pleased this does. Works well, only issue is when typing getting tttttttttttttt typed out instead of text. Not tried different keyboard app inputs yet so might not be too much an issue.

The display mode is slow, like 1 sec/change, and mouse is very big, its too big i think. Btw, mouse mode is cool and works perfectly but the scroll is too sensitive, or maybe this is becouse of i use QHD phone? Don't know but i can't use scroll. So this is the best remote app what i ever used! Display mode should be faster, and mosue scroll is less intensive and this app is the best app for remote your pc :) really good work 😁

Easy to install, User friendly interface, In depth remote control of the computer... What else can someone ask from a free app. I've been using it for almost a year without any issues and i will gladly support a paid version if it ever comes out.
