Great app that I use often to create Synthesizer and noise maker pcbs. It's UI is pretty easy get to grips with, layout is simple, and editing is a piece of cake. I do have a subscription, which I believe is reasonably priced. If you need to layout circuits and convert to gerber files for production, this is a great budget way of doing it. Thanks to the support team for helping me with my recent issue when I was locked out of my subscription account.
The tools in this are absolutely terrible and they make no sense for someone who's actually designing circuit boards the lack of functionality is ridiculous the measuring tool makes no sense there is no way to find a particular spot on the board for those components that have to be located in a specific spot you have to download every single component it doesn't come automatically when you make a new project you have to hunt for the option for a specific size it just pops up with some rando size
This is the type of pcb software that suits my requirements perfectly; small double-sided boards with around 15 to 20 components, mainly smd. With a little practice, the editing is quite easy. While I am able to view all the Gerber files with on-line Gerber file viewers, many pcb manufactures experience difficulty opening the these files for production. The premium version is a bit too expensive. I will opt for the Pro version. I am awaiting the PC version as well.
In my opinion after discovering a second version of pcb droid after login failure in previous day. This version is much better and easier to work with. I'm really glad login issue was a temporary thing. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE IT WEB BASED. I will rate that app 0.
It won't let me register... I get the same message time after time Registration failt! And it does not tell me why it failt. So checked my email addresses / passwords ..everything was ok But it still will not let me in.. So 2 stars... I hope this is a technical problem from the server.
this is what i needed and it runs good on older phones but I can't make a thing for when I tap the bottom left button to add a CPU or any other chip to something but I can use it without a internet connection and it automatically syncs when I go back online and open the app
App seems good, but not a fan of the ads. Not interested in a subscription but I would be willing to make a 1 time purchase to remove ads, too bad that isn't an option.
Unable to login the account. Think there is some technical issues with it. This has became a frequent issue. Otherwise a perfect platform to make PCBs
Garbage have to uninstall and reinstall then won't let you log into your account so you lose all your projects. It would be a decent app if it exported the right size according to app measurements. Along with the log in issues.
I thought this is a well works app, from the web review so I installed it. But unfortunatelly I could have never logged in as it kept saying "Server login Failed" or Register failed when I tried to register. Finnally I uninstalled it.
Good app. Does the job. For whatever reason, can't upgrade to pro version. Also, if you don't live in hungary, can't purchase board printing in app but .GBR export is available. Could use a basic tutorial in app as well.
Overall a good application but last month I purchased a pro plan, after a month my pro plan is deactivated but subscription charges was debited automatically from my bank account. I sent email to company but Still not any reply from management.
Be warned! This is a rip off outfit. They debit your credit card every month for a subscription then take away your access, so you can't export Gerber files and you keep getting ads. 21 April 2021 update: Can't even log in any more. 100s of hours work down the drain. They don't answer emails.
I've long been looking for App like this,it's really really beautiful,easy to use and learn with,nice Job,weldone guys, you just did something marvelous to me, Keep up the good Job.Nice one, but the little thing i don't like is the 'Auto Rotate',I wish i can do away with the Auto Rotating of screen from the App,But,The App is Woooooow!!!... It asked me to register before i can use it and i have done so many times but always says "registration failed". I uninstalled it and redownload still the same thing. Pls, what could be the problem because i can't use it...
I used to use this app, but now I can't login, can't do "forgot password", and can't re-register. Every action says "failed". Uninstalled.
move function is realy hard to use. when designing a pcb you move stuff around a lot and in the app that takes a lot of effort. edit: found out that "move" is not visible on my device (samsung galaxy s8)
PCB DROID IS VERY USEFUL AND WONDERFULL APP, I LIKE THIS APP VERY MUCH, BECAUSE EASY TO DRAWING AND EDITING. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.one more thing-please add relays list also and can you reduce line space because during making relays pads, center lead pads with relay leads are not matching. Thanq.
Was working great untill July 30 since then unable to Log in displays a login server failure. Cannot reser password or create a new account. Possibly a issue on the company end with their server? Hope they get it up soon
30minuites trying out made 1. 10cm file 4 hours trying to work out how to get the thing to work tried to export gerber . error 400 tried to save to cloud for different device failed managed to save a macro install, used onphone saved 1 gerber file the fully fixed design could not remove 1 mistake. and would not save as gerber file!!!!!! says contact support dont know why but i could not select a misplaced solder pad testing on a 30 minuite probject has my thumbs down
Excellent application. I would rate 5 stars if there is no server problem. I am to submit my corse projects after vacations. I am to make PCBs for projects but there is server login failure. Please fix this issue. Thanks!
Id bee using it for ages... Fully paid and now I can't access any of my work. Please sort this out as the work I used this app for is extremely important!! I cant access my account on this app or anything!! Your support crew does not respond!!
small library selection and no expandability. i need to add an atmega 328p and theres no way to do that. walled garden doesnt work unless it has everything.
I've used this app experience was great. But right now I'm not able to login in this app "server fail" show me at all time.
Good easy to use but u make sure to maintain server issues its can't login my 3 days efforts are wasted I contacted through email, Facebook, Instagram and no reply
I dont understand this app. Before i was used of about 5 months. But now i can not log in anymore. When log in always pop up the server log in failed
App requires a registration to use. Registration, as well as google login, does not work. Great.
Perfect platform to make PCB design... Need improvement to access... Most of the time the site shows server login failed...
Good job but Need too much improvements, I can't delete lines, can't edit text, can't get help files, don't know the function of icons, etc etc while working on it.
Overall I didn't think it was a bad app, but all the sudden I keep getting a "server login FAILED" error and cannot use the program or access old projects. The controls are somewhat cumbersome, but I find a lot of these apps are and I'm not sure exactly how you'd make it better for touchscreens; nature of the beast I guess. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 since, when it works it's pretty good, but as it doesn't currently work, it's worthless.
