PDF Max Pro - The PDF Expert!

What a shame. This app was so good...it was my go to app--so reliable and robust. But now, it can't even read documents that it writes! And I have the paid version! What a waste. I uninstalled it two years ago for this reason, and nothing has changed in all this time! It appears to have been abandoned by the author. Please don't give this author one more dime until he shows some vague interest in updating this app, or professionalism and respect for his patrons. It was such a great app.

don't waste your money on this stupid apps. keep on saying invalid file. it's a pdf file you bloody apps. other apps open same pdf file without problem. and this problem have been around for so long, developer never care. i want my refund!!!

This is a rubbish app. It crashes and doesn't allow you to open most commercial pdf files.

Has not worked for a while. Just crashes on modern Android versions.

got this app and got refunded nearly straight away as when I tried to open a pdf it went into error not valid file it's a pdf this is a pdf app how the he'll can it be invalid

Do not buy. it doesn't work anymore save your money. it was a good app at one point. Mobeera seems not to care for it anymore.

$6.99 for an app that can not open ANY pdf at all. NOTHING! for $6.99 NOTHING!!!

Updated - has not worked with LG G5 nougat for several months now. Prior review- Some issues were fixed so I updated this. This is the same review I put on the non pro version. Good amount of.annotation options which are readily accessed. If it will not open a file saying invalid file, change the app permissions and give it storage access. For Google drive, upload your file to Google drive and open it from PDF Max to download it to your device. To sync it after making annotations, use the back arrow to go to the main Google drive page and it will say uploading file at the bottom.

Will not open pdfs that all other readers and pdf editors will open. Wrote support, NO response (no a response did not go to my spam folder). App is not being maintained by developers for new OS updates. Cannot even import a pdf from the device, because it does not see any files. Worthless, uninstalling. Should be removed from GP.

Bought the app as the adverts intruded into my studies but this one does not even open the files nor does it detect the files on my tablet. The free version is way better, just irritating adverts that interrupts studies and breaks concentration. This is really looking like a huge waste of money at this stage. Doesn't open files in Android 7.1.1.

This program used to be my favorite mobile PDF program. But when I got a new tablet I found that it crashed upon opening and was rather useless. Reached out to the developer and didn't hear anything back. Spent alot on the pro version (by comparison). Ended up moving to FoxIt and have a program that works on all my Android platforms and has a better interface. Sorry Mobeera, you lost a customer (although you got to pocket my money - So, I guess you win).

Needs lot of improvement. In pdf reflow pictures are missing, word selection for lookup is lousy. These features are available in repligo Reader. The caret sign to turn the pages is big distraction. Waste of money, glad that 50 percent was off, at least saved 50 percent on the app.

Considering everything offered, I don't understand anyone telling people to stay away. I tried numerous apps and challenge anyone to find one that offers all the features found in this one. I see apps getting over 4 stars that don't come close to the same functionality of what I used to need several apps to accomplish. My ONLY request is the addition of PDF scanning to complete the app. But expecting prompt daily tech support on an app that's this cheap and bashing the developer is beyond ridiculous.

Got this program looking for a replacement to PDF Expert on iOS, but cannot use it now due to "Invalid File" error when opening my document. Documents open fine on other apps. As others mentioned, it appears to be caused when using the program in Marshmallow. It seemed to work properly in Lollipop. I am disappointed and cannot recommend it until this is fixed. Hopefully they will address this soon.

I believe we've all been swindled and there should be a lawsuit brought against the company offering this app. I was using the free one and then was notified by purchasing the app I would be able to flatten copies. It worked for 3 Days and never again. I have contacted so called customer support several times with ZERO RESPONSE! CAN GET A REFUND!

This app would get 5 stars from me...but I get no response from Mobeera support. I sent a question in November..no reply. I just went back to their website and sent another request. I hope they reply so that I can change my review to 5 stars: "How do I flatten documents so that they can be viewed by anyone on any app? I am a music teacher. My students send their homework via PDF. I like your app very much (for making the corrections), but I can not send these corrections because I can not flatten. I tried "flatten as" but that just saves a flattened version of the document that I can not open or send. Please look at Foxit PDF reader. They have a "flatten" that actually works. I will return to Foxit for a while, although I MUCH prefer your app for editing. Please fix the flatten feature. Thank you."

Some one said they can't understand the one star reviews. Lol if you cannot even open a pdf locally, in Dropbox and from a email without the app crashing. Then open a help ticket and after 7 days of nothing and several emails nothing, this developer is a joke. YOU PURCHASE THIS APP AT YOUR OWN RISK IT CRASHES AND DOES NOT WORK FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE !!!!

Coming from an iPad to Android, I miss Goodreader! (It is one of the few things I miss). PDF Max 4 is the closest to it I have found in Android. The commands and interface are someimes hard to figure out, not intuitive at all. And any markups I do don't seem to carry over to other PDF readers (like Adobe on my PC). This last is frustrating, and I hope that the promised flattening feature will cure this. If so, I would rate it 5 stars. Good interface with Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box (yes, I use all 3). Update 09/24/2015: App reverts to first page of PDF if switch to another app or after a little time left inactive. I was in a 300 page PDF book, and it just jumped to the first page in the middle of reading/annotating. Other docs, if I switch to another app then switch back to PDF Max, the doc will also revert to the first page. Frustrating. Downgraded to 3 stars. Using PDF Max Pro, latest version. Update 2/2016: Crashes a lot since update. Flatten doesn't seem to work. Frustrating.

It just keep crashing on me. I can not open a single pdf file, it crashes or says invalid file. I am absolutely disappointed.

Purchased in March 2017 for a Samsung edge device running Android 7.0 crashes immediately. Have tried numerous things including re-install. I'd like a refund, I've not been able to use the application even once.

I purchased this app because i wanted to flatten the my pdf after putting some notes in but it doesnt do what it says it does. It gives me notification that says flatten error. Please fix it and ill give you 5 stars. Thank you!

I now regret purchasing this app. It used to be my go to app and worked fairly well except for the poor eraser that erased chunks of my annotations rather than erasing finely. I've emailed the developers repeatedly for about 2 years but they've done nothing, now the app has become unusable. I get the message, "invalid file" for every PDF I try to open, whereas all other apps I've tried have effortlessly opened the same PDF files.

As good a PDF annotator as I have found. One of my favorites, actually. However, syncing with Drive or Onedrive is incredibly inconsistent and unreliable. I have to keep a local copy of any files I need, then re-upload them using a file manager.
