PDF Reader

Spotlight and Shelf view is exceptional and spontaneous! And highly customizable tap system definitely is suited for mobiles. But zooming configuration is not what it should be. I want to tap so that it zooms immediately to certain level, not to see a zooming scale then set the level. I can easily do that by pinching.

I really liked the interface. It was easy to access various files, and most importantly, I was using this app to read pdf books so I really liked the bookshelf design. Moreover, whenever I returned to the same file, I would be brought exactly where I had left off - perfect for someone who is reading a book. But the app kept crashing almost every minute, completely ruining my user experience and making the app unusable despite its thoughtful functions. A genuine pity.

This application is based on an open source app with no ads called EBookDroid. This app reworks the UI a tiny bit. PDF Reader has ads which, when shown, randomly throws my book way ahead to pages I haven't read yet. There is no option to pay for the app to disable the ads, so it's an all-round horrible time-wasting experience. I would never have looked for alternatives if I could simply disable the ads.

Good app but the ads that stays at the top front of the screen can be so disturbing and annoying. I don't know if they didn't remember the purpose of this app which is to read pdf's, but when they've left a little space for the read to read where they could've provided a full screen view, what then is the use of the app? So if I saw anything less than one star I could have chosen it. They purpose of downloading the app is more important than every other thing and hence must be protected.

Well,it does what it claims - and thats all good. Apart from occasional shutting down,its a pretty good app. Beautiful layout,easy and flawlessly smooth page scrolling,clear and quiet neat as well. I find quiet very good!,ofcourse,with always a room for improvement. But a good app otherwise.

I had encountered some issues. Well, only one, per se. But there's a lot of missing texts in a pdf file. And it's not the file itself, but the app. I tested it on different pdf readers (ex: MEGA's reader), and it only appears within this app.

It was good experience, if i want to read something i can easily read from it , i don't need books, i can easily do my work without light and in night through it,but the problem is that i can't choose page which I need so i have to find it through skipping all the slides by touching the phone which wastes lot of time so that's not good.

I have a hard time getting this to work right. I can't seem to save anything to my phone, and the UI kind of glitches out whenever I try to make it do that. The app itself is slow to open, and I don't like where the ads are placed. It does view pdfs fine however.

This is a terrible app. Trying to find what I want to read on my phone is very difficult as the font is white on a white background. The UI and settings aren't user friendly. An errant tap can cause it to back out of the book and trying to get back to the place I was at takes more effort than it's worth. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because at least the ads aren't intrusive. But I don't recommend this at all

Good evening dear pdf reader it is simultaneously closed or no keeps longer on it sometimes doesn't responding or it minimizes his window self by notifying error occured ......... It doesn't work like it works like in previous times .. It have more problems creating in it . It sometimes keeps no longer or disappear from screen.... Please fix the issue as soon as possible ...

Used to love it, then the ads got annoying so annoying that it made me go search for an ad free app (which is not hard to find). I had this app for years but it's a goodbye now. It also asks you to rate it every time you close it. There's only so many times you can rate it!

Good lightweight pdf reader app. One little thing needs to be improved is that when accessing folder to choose files, the file names are all white on a bright yellow background, extremely difficult to read it. Please fix it asap. Thank you.

This app is great, but the ads aren't loaded immediately at the start, so if you tap to open the first book in your list, there is a 50% chance you open an ad instead. The first book is the last one you viewed, so this happens pretty frequently.

I use to love this App until it stopped opening documents on my phone. It closes itself instead once u open it and click on the documents to open, the App would automatically close itself. I'm really disappointed, I wish this issue could be resolved or I'd have to uninstall it

Was amazing at first years ago when I found it. Now it's always crashing. Crashing, crashing, crashing and crashing again. It would be one star of not for the fact that I've been using this for a few years when it was good

Recent books list is very helpful. To stop auto rotation first need to open a pdf file, then you can see "Book settings" option in menu. There you can select rotation options. Good app. But ads may irritate you.

The app is simple and does what it is supposed to. No you can't edit any pdf but you can download and read them online and offline. The dark mode and auto-rotation features are very helpful too.

Travesty. Developer is sure s/he knows app, so fails to SAY how it works to user; opts for arcane menus only the dev grasps THOUGHTLESS DESIGN+TRASH LOUD ADS So this all-too-typical PDF reader for Android 9 makes font size so tiny, u can't read pdf on a cell phone, no matter how high u zoom FYI test pdf I use for 9/2020 pdf reviews is Assurance Wireless user manual for UMX693CL (cell I just got). Same manual displays fine in Android 7 pdf voice readers (they don't work in Android 9)

Really pretty nice app, but I would much rather spend a few bucks on an ad free premium version. Other than that a pretty solid reader for tablet users. I use it on a 10in Samsung and it's just fine.

Won't access removable storage (anymore). The setting screen for searching individual paths in the phone has the text color identical to the background color - because that's super uaeful.

Useless, at least for Pixel Phone. Unable to properly open any PDF document. The text was totally gibberish and scrambled. Uninstalled. Found out that Pixel Phone has built in reader. No need for an app.

Great reader with a ton of features, however it lacks the ability to zoom in and autofit the text (so you don't have to swipe left/right to read the whole line).

My first experience with this app has been excellent. I love the various viewing options it has for I can able to read my documents any time anywhere. I strongly recommend everyone to download it. Thanks to the developer.

It's good but have some bugs that when opening some books or scrolling down fast the app sudenly get closed and do not respond and i have to restart it. I hope you will fix this problem. By the way my phone is samsung glaxy s7 edje. Thanks

Great site to keep and sort your PDF files! The only thing wrong with it is that it keeps stopping and closing out. You have to reopen the app and reopen your file. That is aggrevating!!

This app used to be my best. Now, it keeps crashing and occassionally flips my pdfs to the last pages when im reading the begining. Imagine trying to scroll back to page 10 of a 1000 page book. Thats horrible.

my primary go to reader for the last few years since i stared using a smart phone has ads but are unobstructive auto rotation feature is also a huge plus is (was) very light even for my 7 year old phone a little drawback is that its unable to properly display some pdf files

Terrible interface, it had white text on a light grey background and no way to change it. The ads blocked a portion of the screen and had an overall bad layout.
