On locking the file, a new file will be created in the same directory with LOCKED appended to its name. And when the file is unlocked, it will create a new file in the same directory with UNLOCKED appended to its name. The permissions on the original file are preserved.

This is not just pdf unlocker, but stress reliever. For those of us who buy books at high prices only to find that you can't even highlight it, yet it's the pdf book. This application is a must have.
It does what it says. It removes the password protecion from PDF, but you need to provide password.
Does as it says. Removes the password IF you know the password already. It's not magic like some people think.
it cannot open encrypted password without entering the code.

App works on a 3 page pdf but crashes when I try to lock/unlock a 25mb pdf. Devoper, please advise. Thank you in advance
Works ok. Would be nice to save straight over the existing file rather than doubling up. It would also be nice if this worked directly with files on Google Drive, rather than download, rename, upload.
