PDFView

PDFView is a PDF viewer based on the excellent MuPDF library. It is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. The APK is provided here for convenience, you can download the source code at https://www.acadoid.com/src/pdfview.tgz.
NOTE: PDFView is not a PDF viewer in the sense of displaying PDF files, there is no graphical user interface and the app is not supposed to be started directly. Instead, it is a PDF viewer that provides PDF rendering service to other apps via a documented interface. At the moment, the app is only used by LectureNotes, but all other Android developers are invited to include an interface to PDFView into their apps and use PDFView for PDF rendering. Details of the interface can be found in the source of PDFView.

User feedback:We would love to hear from you, please send feedback and feature requests to us by email (devel [a] acadoid.com). If you encounter a problem with the app, please email us and we will do our very best to fix it quickly.

Major features:
* requires only minimal permissions and no internet connection (we do respect your privacy!)
* allows other apps to convert a PDF file into a set of PNG files with a given resolution, either a single page or a page set

One of my longest and most used apps! I purchased this back when I had a Note Pro 12.2 , and I have used it on tablets and several iterations of the Galaxy Note phones. Notes for school, to do lists, doodling even! A very versatile app. My newest device is the Samsung Tab S7+, and despite the page stating the app may not be optimized for this device, it seems to work fine. I have used the PDF viewer, but not the other peripherals. I recently purchased Document Scanner and the Video Recorder.

The suporting team are astonishing... They helped me very kindly, and fixed my problem which was associated with lecture notes app and taught me how to deal with that problem My problem was: "I need an app be able to imprint shortened-size of all pages of a pdf on one side of my notebook, the same we can see in onenote. Not only there is not such a feature in that, but also the imported pages are horizontal"

Problem sorted! (Works ok, but I cant import more than 1 page at a time from a pdf of 20 pages. Is it possible?) I worked it out and yes it is possible. Great feature to a fantastic app!

extremely customizable and i love the widget for showing a preview of a notebook page on the home screen, if you wish, which then allows for very fast access to a note especially for general purpose daily capturing of ideas. works SOOO good with the S Pen

Steep learning curve and unfriendly options/UI. Stick with it though, because once it's dialed in its awesome.

Can't say much about this app as it has no UI. I dare say LectureNotes is only half useful without this "plug-in". For that, it gets the same rating as the host app. Thanks for the developer!

No joke, this is the best note taking app for making and presenting lectures I have found. I even installed an android emulator on my windows PC just so I could use this. Keep up the good work guys!

Though the user interface is a little intimidating, this app has everything you need for a digital notebook and it's amazing.

Best note taking app for use with a stylus. Quite complex so lots to learn but well worth sticking with.

This app allows you to import PDF files into lecture notes, where you can then annotate them with all the cool features that lecture notes offers.

Brilliant setup, with instant help desk service!! Only upgrades I can suggest is to also create a desktop version and get commercial cloud storage from rackspace to host and backup content straight to your own servers. Then you will overtake evernote which is absolute garbage.

Very simple to use for marking up documents. The ability to create multiple layers is great.
