PDG PROmote 2015-2017

This app is great on the phone & have had it since very early on. I've been using the Computer based app & I've had issues taking tests. For Example when trying to take a test for Chapter 12 it populates Chapter 13. When I Do 13 it does 14. When I do 14 it either won't open or it opens 15. When trying 15 you get 17. It's really frustrating having to go back and forth or not being able to test out of certain subjects. Using the computer makes it so much easier to study but this is really annoying

Saw alot of people recommend this app for studying for waps testing, never saw a mention of how many questions there was for practice tests, this app is extremely overwhelming to study. The end of course test has over 2k questions to go through, I was expecting around 5-600 overall questions. The information should definitely be more compacted and easier to get through, would have been just as easy to read the handbook.

It's overall pretty good, but for some reason the Audio section isn't working right now. I like using it when I'm driving and working, but it's not playing any audio.

Been using this app for the last 3 weeks as a start studying for out of cycle testing when I get back. So far it's great and is helping my confidence 10 fold. The only thing I wish is there was an option for flash cards rather then having the answer on the same slide. I always find my eyes want to wander toward the answer as I'm reading. Will be sure to update review after I test in a few months.

The app constantly crashes when I try to resume a test, I've sent multiple emails without a single response, and even the basic grammar in the questions is off frequently. If it gets me promoted, great, but I shouldn't have to pay for something that doesn't work properly and was so rushed that the wording of questions don't make sense.

Audio portion needs to be redone. Distortion of words and numbers distract me from taking in the material being read.

What actually even are these slides. It's almost the same information repeated on slide after slide after slide with no attempt at consolidation or ease of reading. I regularly find the exactly same information repeated on anywhere from 2- 4 slides. The first 9 slides of Air Force Heritage can literally be consolidated into a slide or two.

Is there a way to send feedback for incorrect Info? One of the questions about combatant commands says there are 10. 6 geographic and 4 functional but this is incorrect. Since 2019 there are actually 11 now. With 7 Geographic (the new addition being space command) and 4 functional. Otherwise good app, I think. I'll let you know if it helped after I test.

Great study material to get ready for the big test, some tie-in to other questions and sort of gives the answer for a previous question. Only gripe is that it's REALLY boring, hard for a young airman to docus and read through 20 questions to absorb the knowledge(hands-on leaenee and gamer). Also, I'm not a fan about how the answers are on the same side as the question; my eyes just can't help but read the answer first most of the time. And yes I tried using an answer cover.

The latest update appears to have broken serval things. Missed question options and Study missed questions are no longer loading.

This is a great study tool! my boggest complaint is that you cant swipe between bookmarked questions. For example, if I bookmark questons 3 and 8, I cant swipe between them in the bookmarks tab. it makes it difficult to review. One feature that would be nice is a rating or color feature. That way you could mark things based on how much you need to review. For example, some questions I am fairly confident with, but would like to review. Other questions, I definitly need to review.

App itself for the phone is great, what I absolutely hate though is that the PC version is a separate cost. There shouldn't be a reason why that if you already paid for the mobile version ,you should have to spend more money on the same content, just on a PC. Unsat

I think the App is great, let's get that out of the way first. Second, It seems that only some parts of a specific unit is available to look at (i.e. only section 2C or 3A) for testing for a specific rank. Is it like that for a reason to not add all the sections for a chapter or is it to streamline and funnel the most important information quicker?

Small price for a big paycheck! Got this app few years ago (all updates are free!) and I did a little studying with it. It is a little overwhelming when you see 4000+ questions. I missed TSgt by 6 points last year but I knew I should of studied more. I dove hard into this app this year and scored 17 points over! Highly recommend if you cant see yourself reading the pdg. The questions are almost word for word on the WAPS.

Used this app for E-5 testing. Wanted to use it for E-6 Testing, but I work in a secure area and I can't use my phone. Their solution was for me to spend more money for the same product so I can use it on my desktop with the excuse of "we had to develop a new app." This is dumb. They should look into either increasing the initial pay and give the user access to both PC and app. Maybe even off a discount for the PC version if you already own the app. Not full price for both. The USAF always spoke about flexibility and this app is in fact not.

I really like this app and have learned tons of material that I would have had to painfully read over. Feedback: If there was an option to remove questions we already know from the question bank that would be awesome. Then it would pull more material we need to learn and make the app more effective.

It's boring, no options for audio and it doesn't really have other ways to study. I think the 3 options are almost the same. The only difference is how detailed the hint is. It will take awhile to study in here.

Everything I studied in this, I remembered while taking the test verbatim. You guys got me to promote this year. I recommend this app to every airman I supervise. The cost, the format, and the free updates, and dedicated development team make this study guide the best available. 100% worth the price. Thank you!!

Fantastic app! focused on all the multiple choice mkts 1 and 2 questions and got through as many mkts 3s as possible before my test. recognized 85% of questions on test and made MSgt by 40 points first time with a promote epr, and scored highest then I ever had on PFE test. Customer service is great as well, found a wording problem with one of the questions and got a fast reply from CEO. I recommend this to all my friends that are testing for promotion.

It's a great app but it would be helpful if there was a way to bookmark your place while talking tests or studying so you can continue where you left off if you can't take a 200 plus question test in one sitting.

This app is pretty useful for studying, you can never predict what the actual questions on the test will be, but you can never be too prepared. This app gives another layer of learning the source material that compliments other methods Personally, this is one of two study methods I use, and I feel satisfied with the apps content

Made Staff & Tech my first time solely studying with this app for 1hr/day for 1 month with a bit of cramming on the final week. Glad that I no longer will have to use this app since I won't be testing anymore! My only feedback is that they should add more mnemonics. I made my own in my head but the ones in the app helped a lot. For example: remembering Kabul with "cable company."

Questions are alright, the "helpful hints" are pretty nonsensical to me but might work for someone else. Was perfectly happy to pay for this app, but having the desktop app a separate purchase is super scummy. The mobile app and desktop app both could have been made in an hour by a high schooler, I've already paid for the effort of acquiring the questions, but they feel entitled to double dip.

There's currently a bug that crashes the app every time you hit resume test when trying the end of course test for TSgt when testing for all questions. Other than that great app.

How many minutes before the app closes out. I'm trying to study all 2000+ questions in sequential order but if I take a break (while keeping my phone on).......it restarts from scratch. What kind of sense does that make. I was 200 something questions in and now have to restart. I want to only see new questions before seeing the ones I know and have answered
