Really awesome. You can actually play 3 free games and you have the option to play 2 more games after watching ads. It's better than luminosity app in this point of view, because their premium stuff is 'free' in this one. Like for example you can compare your scores with other users of same age and profession. After testing other brain games I found out that this is the one that I came back the most. The ranking systems is really nice makes me want to challenge myself and get better score. +Fun
The game starts very nice, everything seems so perfect, the game seems awesome, but as soon as you've finished the first assessment, you're completely blocked, you can't do anything until "the next assessment", you have to pay more to continue in the game, so not very free... It's quite sad the free version is so poor, because the app is very well made.
Crashes a lot! Plus there are a lot of times when the app gets hung during transition between screens. I'm a Pro member who paid for the lifetime membership, was not expecting such lags in the app. Please look into this.
I enjoyed Peak when there were 4 free games to choose from every day, but then it switched to only 2 free games to pick from. Then I only used it 1-2x a week instead of every day. Now I can't use it at all as the game will no longer load on my phone and stays at the blue intro screen. I'm really disappointed as I need cognitive training for a brain injury and this WAS my favorite app.
I thought when I first got it that it would be different from games that mak you pay for everything. You enter the game, you take a test and you start playing. SImple right. Well I thought so too but there is only two games for free to play players and you can only play each of those two games twice. This games isn't worth your time unless they change the free to play foundation.
I have an old acc that is a Peak Pro lifetime member, I requested to delete my acc because I think I won't be coming back again, now I came back with a new acc and wanted to purchase the Peak Pro lifetime but it said that I already own this item. I restore purchases but it said "Error", looks like the devs don't want money so I'll just stick to my free acc.
The app has a lot of "brain games" to offer and are grouped according to category, i.e. memory, problem solving, focus, etc. The games really challenge you to think and focus. I availed the "Pro" version from the start and I can say from experience that the money is worth it. You get to play all 43 games and have a specialized "brain workout" every day.
Been on peak since 2017, amazing app but its so pushy to buy the pro version, literally impossible to play unless you buy pro. Which I have done in the past but refuse to again now they've become so ad obsessed and pushy to buy pro. Ridiculous. Edit for response: they're not exactly short ads though, 1 free daily workout with an ad in between each game is ridiculous. Some games get interrupted by ads as well. I understand monetization, this is just being greedy.
The app was great and really enjoyed playing the games. But recently the app keeps on crashing. Earlier it was crashing only for the speed spotting game. But now it doesn't work for any game. The game launches and crashes after 5 seconds. I'm using One plus 5.
Daily workout (paid version) doesn't include at least one game from every category. Very often the same game is included in the next day's workout or sometimes two from the same category. Very, very bad! Clearly people want to train all the skills and not just a few selected at random!
There is error on game Memory (Partial Match). No matter how carefully i play the game, it always mismatch . When I selected the right one, it always give the wrong answer. btw, i know how to play the game.
This was once an engaging, helpful brain exercise tool with only a few extra games locked behind a pay wall, with the free daily workout containing 4 free games and two optional paid ones. Now the free daily workout contains only 2 games and won't even show you your stats without making you watch an ad or pay for a subscription. I think viewing my own stats is a basic function, not a premium. If you can get an older version to work, do that, but the new price-gouging one isn't worth the data.
I used to love Peak as had the free version before but couldn't keep up after just giving birth. Thought I'd pick it up again a few years later and it's all about pro now. They make you watch a video for even the free standard workouts they've assigned you and its just not enjoyable. I would have considered pro as it's only a few pounds but the way they have gone about it, so pushy! I won't get it because I don't feel like they've given a positive enough experience without upgrading
Just installed, plan on buying the premium version and sticking with it for a while until it loses its novelty. Enjoyable games, basic to begin with but presumably as I get consistent ratings the challenge will increase. I'd like for the statistics to be more specific, factoring in a person's total activity in game, time of installation and peak rating, to see where, at what stage of progression, you compare to others.
Really good app but the game Grow is simply too hard once you get to a high level. It gives you word beginnings that realistically only have a small handful of words so the fun is taken out. Would be much more fun and challenging if they stayed with the more open word beginnings where you try to put in as many words as you can within the time instead of exhausting the two words there are and then waiting for the timer to run out.
I've had this app for ages and used to enjoy it, I found it challenging for your Brain and relaxing in a way ,I've just been on there after a while of not playing and found it annoying as you have to sit through stupid adverts every game 🙄
All round a great game, fun but challenging. I would have liked to swap games more but I would end up playing the same ones. I have found games I didn't like at first I like them now after being forced to play them
While i only use the free version, it used to be great for my periodic dips into brain training. But latest play had my game interrupted by adverts, so i didnt get to finish either of the free games. This app now tries to force you to pay an expensive pricetag, which in my opinion is not worth it. Uninstalling.
There are still some bugs that you have to fix. I do tell my friends to download and play but when they try to buy pro mode, application crashes all the time. Especially with the iphones (even the new ones). Game diversity is satisfying but language games makes no sense if your main language isn't English. In language games, I just randomly choose letters and hope if they create real word. I can say that, this game should be necessary for everyone, kids in school, even in business life.
Excellent exercises/games. Good at adjusting levels to keep me motivated and pushing to do better.
I have just started and find some of the games challenging but enjoyable none the less. I hope to see some improvement over time as I become more used to them.
I just applied for the year and now it won't load. My internet is great and still is so slow, or it just doesn't load. Fix it or I'll ask for my money back
Great app. Really love the word puzzles. Only concern is that my score drops whenever my kids use it, but i guess they will have the advantage in just a few years...
Same games i have seen everywhere. But they kinda managed to make it fun-ish, at least not boring. And i like how organized everything is. Graphics and Designs good. Wish they would implement social stuff into the game too. Like being able to add friends and compare stuff. Kinda having indirect competition.
Cool games that might be scientifically proven to improve cognitive performance. I saw a video of similar games being played in a brain improvement video on Curiosity. Found the video on brain improvement after searching "Brain" in the documentary app/service. 37$ for the yearly subscription. I might subscribe depending on how well I feel this has improved my neuroplasticity. So far it has provided 2 decently cool games(crossword and numbers)with app wide compared overall scoring at the end. 500
Wow, came back to this after a few years and the ads really are too much. Will stick to lumosity!
Great app, have been using it for several years. But with latest update, there are way too many ads. Before, the daily training consisted in 4 games. Now it is only 2 ad-free ones, and in order to access the next ones, you need to go through 1 minute of ad for each game. That is definitly breaking the immersion, therefore almost questionning the efficiency of the training at this stage...
