The Peakhunter app is by far the best and easiest way to keep a record of all the mountain and hill summits you visit.
Good app. I was really pleasanty surprised when it recognized even rather obscure peaks and hill-tops in Slovenia.
Hi , I installed with high anticipation, but I don't want to sign up. Hence i am uninstalling.
Where is Wales? 137 Hewitts but no way to download them separately :(
Wish I had started using this App years ago. Can only log a summit if you are physically there. Not going to go up all my hills again but a great feature going forwards. Can also log new summits not on PH database. Best of all you can download summits by country so can be used off-line.
Works nicely and reliably, great for keeping a log of your hikes with fotos etc
If you want to find some nice hikes this makes it easy.
Love this app , very handy
Having fun with the peakhunter
My go to app as soon as I hit a summit! I would love to see the Pro version made available here!
I love that you have to physically go to each peak to claim it! Get out and enjoy!
Great fun to log the peaks, gorgeous design. Tested on Samsung Galaxy S2!
Crashes all the time
Once you learn to navigate and realize you must enter Peaks it is a great app. I will be adding a lot of peaks my local area. It would be nice to have satellite as a default instead of having to change it every time. Will upgrade to 5 stars once I get in the field
Great app for people who hike a lot. Tell people where you've been; look at your comments to remember special moments along your hike.
Crashes every time it tries to download lists
This weekend I took the peak hunter app to task for my second peak bagging trip. This time it worked a lot better. Of course I had to log my peaks off line due to the remoteness of the peaks but when I got a connection I was pleasantly surprised at how similar the peaks were. I'll keep using the app, just wish there was someway of knowing how close to the peak I am when in offline mode! One peak I logged once I got online said I was off by 20 feet but I was at the geo marker when I logged the peak?
A great app, really well built and I enjoy it thoroughly. Just re-downloaded it after a break from hiking. Only issue is that I'm living in Kuwait at the minute and the app has Khasm Ghudayy on the map (which is in a restricted area) but not the highest point in Kuwait, Mutla ridge. Hope it gets added soon! Other than that fantastic and highly recommended. Edit: Even better thank you!
