the "beautiful new" version of the app is terrible. lots of crashing, and the back button now takes you out of the app instead of going back a screen. and there are no visible changes to the item list and specific item pages to justify the change overall. worst of all, they jacked up the delivery price several dollars. without any announcement. you just find the higher charge when you go to check out.

I can't use this app on my phone because it cuts off the images of "add to cart" and the number of items I want to buy. I just completed an order using my computer and had trouble with that, too. The sort/filter function was so large in the screen that I couldn't only see parts of the images, add to cart and quantities. This needs to be fixed, please. I depend on grocery delivery due to illness. It took me over two hours to buy $100 worth of groceries, way too long, and very tiring. Please fix!

Haven't used this service in a few months but I remember the app being much smoother. It's very slow and glitchy. Took me over 30 minutes to place an order earlier today and just now when I tried to add/search for an item it gave me an error message. Hopefully someone is on this issue, as it seem to not be the only one experiencing it.

Whatever you guys did to this app for this update is a disaster. It took me a half hour to shop. Items were removed from the cart, the back button exits the app rather than closing pop ups on items, so I had to re open it 15 times. I feel like in-person shopping would have been less of a time waste. Oh also, all of the regular sliced deli items are gone and all that's offered is "shaved"? I don't know what that even means but can you guys fix this because I liked peapod up until now. Thanks!

This is a service I didn't know I needed but absolutely LOVE! It's so convenient to add things to my list during the week by scanning the bar codes as they go to the trash. I've decided at midnight that I didn't feel like walking around the store in the morning and added all my regular items to my list and picked it up in the morning. The staff is always amazing and super friendly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This app is honestly SO poorly designed. It is almost impossible to navigate between windows not loading correctly, closing unexpectedly, or freezing. Pressing the back button to change pages closes the app. It takes so long to order. I'm so disappointed for the people who depend on Peapod regularly who have to use this.

Welcome to 10 years ago. Can't view order invoices, can't easily go through a list of what was allegedly delivered and checkbox items as missing/damaged, there's a "report a problem" contact box that apparently goes nowhere. I wish I never had to interact with this app except for it to tell me when my driver arrives, but with the error rate on peapod delivieries, I find myself opening it more than I'd like, and pondering all the ways in which it's lacking.

The fact that there still isn't an update to fix the issues made me come back and rate this 1 star. Now not only is the back button closing the app still, but coupons aren't loading, the app is randomly adding food to my orders if I was just looking at them, and at times it is so slow I have to wait and come back. Freezing and not updating orders as shopping. I had to close and reopen my app anytime I wanted to update my total and shopping list, coupons etc. made it so much harder to shop.

Absolutely worst app and website I have ever used. Took an hour to add groceries, took two just to find a way to create an account just to check out. Finally after reloading app and multiple pages I finally did it. my billing address recently changed and it absolutely no matter what will let you edit this info. frustrated beyond belief I will never even consider using this app/website/service again.

I started using them because I have a disability. Really a great tool. Navigation is simple to use. They have good specials. They're linked to an actual supermarket so they have store-brand items too. You are able to look at nutrition facts and pictures, sort and filter. And they deliver. I've been using them for years and I have no complaints. If ever there is any issue, customer service is very helpful and prompt. Highly recommended.

I can go from one device to another with my shopping because there's nothing there. I have to stay on the device I started on. It wasn't like that before. It's very inconvenient!! FIX IT!!!!! I just had to search for my iPad to add an item. My cell phone is awful to shop on all of a sudden!!

the app will not allow edits or additions of payment options. my card expired July 31st, so I needed to edit the expiration and security code-it won't save the changes. I then tried to edit it to an entirely different credit card and it still tries to charge my expired card. i called the help line and was told my wait time is 31 mins?! I've also had issues with their "holds" on funds even after the purchases have gone through. i will be deleting the app and using other pick up services instead.

I originally placed my order coming out to 60ish dollars I edited that order before picking it up and it came down to 52 and change. When I picked up the order It went fine but I later received notice my card was declined. The card was declining because the hold for 60ish dollars was still being applied. I called customer service and we figured it out but now I have two pending charges for the actual amount. This is just being more of a hassle than is worth it.

I felt the need to actually write a review for this App. It is very glitchy, and at times slow. My coupons NEVER load up, and if they do it is not all of them. Now the App is not working at all! I often get 404 messages. It is so frustrating because I prefer to order my groceries ahead of time for pick up due to health issues and busy schedules. I am so disappointed. I will be searching for a new grocery store that can provide better service.

So slow! I don't know what changed, but it takes forever to add an item. I have a cat, and it takes a good minute just to chage the quantity for a can of cat food from 1 to 7. I used to really like this app, but now it's not worth the aggravation. I'll get my groceries from another supermarket. One where it doesn't take an hour to fill my cart.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE BACK BUTTON FUNCTION! I'm loving Peapod! It's so convenient while dealing with a long illness. The drivers are all excellent and kind. And the app is great. BUT, an update a few months ago made it so hitting your back button closes the app and it's SO ANNOYING! Please undo this change! I'm seriously considering uninstalling the app and just using the website.

A few additional unknown charges that don't add up to anything. My receipt shows one price but I was charged $40 more than the receipt which was still a different price than my total bill was. The coupons given to me were unaccepted which makes no sense because I am a new user but my new user coupon did not work. Called customer support and they said they would apply it manually but they didn't, instead they charged me extra. The free delivery also does not work for me even though I'm very close

This is the most misleading app I have ever used. Upon opening the app, you have boxes for delivery address and time slot and "change" next to both. I went to edit my delivery address and it CANCELLED MY ENTIRE grocery order I have been waiting to be delivered for more than 2 weeks (Stop & Shop peapod doesn't reopen cancelled slots, so that is Why the wait is so long.) Why would you tell customers they can edit their delivery address 'front page,' and not warn them it would cancel their order?

New update is awful. Please test your software on a broader range of mobile devices Peapod... Samsung Galaxy S9+ and S10+ both now exit the app when using phone back button. This happened with an update of yours before a long time ago as well. Using peapod app back button takes you back to the top of the results, which is a pain when trying to shop the top specials and such. Please fix or roll it back!

Yesterday I was getting the message that Peapod is in maintenance mode all day. Similar to other's experience. I knew that the server was up as I was able to log in from a browser. So at the end of the day I decided to uninstall, reboot my phone, then reinstall. Then it worked, at least for now. Clearly a bug in the app that needs to be fixed. And based on recent reviews, there are others as well.

App is slow and clunky. Warning: Not all coupons clipped in the stop and shop app will apply on peapod (though there is apparently no reason that they shouldn't work). Even half the sales or deals shown in the peapod app (2 for $5) actually work. E.g. Vienna fingers 2 for $4 or $4.49 regularly as shown in this app. Once added to cart there is $8.48 in the cart not the $4 that should be there. This problem is true for the app and the website.

I downloaded the app at a suggestion, only to open it to a permanent maintenance page. I hadn't so much as made an account with Peapod, as the service is entirely unusable. This was last month. Opened my bank account today to find they took a monthly fee from me. How did they gain access to my bank? Especially without me making an account? Why is this still available to download?

This app is terrible. It doesnt' keep you logged in and it never remembers your password. When I log in using my credentials after a day, its like the system forgot who I am, and im forced to change my password. This makes me feel like you cant manage customer data. To add icing on top, after I change my password and log in... the cart, is empty! Not to mention its so slow!

This app "drives" like a Mac truck! The categories when browsing are not at all responsive. I have had to leave the app in mid order to resist the temptation to bounce my smart phone off the wall.I press meat,it gives me cereal! Absolutely hate be it! The only reason I continue to use it is that you accept manufacturer coupons; stop doing thAt and, and I'm gone!

An astonishing and overwhelming quantity of advertisements and suggestions makes the screen extremely confusing for seniors. An 84 year old does not need 9 different "Add to Cart" buttons next to similar items when trying to buy a can of soup. It's mean it's so confusing.

The convience is awesome. It was better when they would leave the order at my door. Their vegetables, fruit and meat are good, but unreliable for freshness. Although, they will replace anything with a phone call. If you need it immediately, you can bring the below par item to a Stop and Shop and they will replace or refund, on the spot.
