Pear Launcher

So far on Android 11 it is beating the others I'm comparing it to (Hyperion, Nova) and the ones I've ruled out (Lawnchair, CPL, rootless, ruthless, trebuchet) due to bugs or missing features. My requirements were pretty slim - I use a 7x11 layout and *many* of the launchers don't "go to 11" (the Spinal Tap test?). The icon customization will show options across all installed packs, which Lawnchair used to do (but it isn't working at all on Android 11). It also seems fast. The only bugs I've found so far are: 1, when customizing icons, there are "stray pixels like broken text" but only until I do backup/restore at which point it is fixed, so not a problem. 2, the "keep your place in drawer don't go to top" seems to not work or not always work, but, it is only a minor inconvenience and only during certain very uncommon tasks that I care. A winner so far!

The interface is amazing and just the way I like it, swipe up anywhere for drawer and swipe down anywhere for notifications. One major problem though, when switching apps the window crashes if you tap on an app thats not in the centre. More stars if it's fixed. Edit: Pity that huawei doesn't play well with other launchers, if it weren't for my phone it would be fine then.

Almost what I needed. Looking for ability to organize apps in the app tray. I could, but the interface to get an app into a folder was clunky. Cannot add a shortcut to the home screen, from an app inside a folder. Cannot re-order the folder (you're stuck with the folders in the sequence they were created).

Great launcher and plenty of customization. Smooth and fluid animations. I have a single problem, where I have set the swipe down gesture to expand quick settings. The launcher does not expand quick settings until a tap and hold, and select "launcher settings". I hope the developers fix this problem soon, and my rating will be 5/5.

Switched to pear launcher last night after sticking with my previous launcher for over two years. Already I love how much I can customise it and how good it looks! I love the option to choose the opacity for EVERYTHING as well as changing colours. The functionality is also perfect for me. So far there's nothing I don't like, I would rate this a million stars if I could.

Fast straight to the point and with all the right customization options. Bug&Suggestions: A small bug: drawer search(widget/shortcut/gesture)opens search with keyboard activated but it doesn't work unless you physically press the search bar (which is located above the apps drawer and hard to reach easily). Two suggestions: 1. folder immersive view option. 2. Icons search from the icon packs window (app edit) would be great. For the record I think this is the best launcher on the store. Thank you

Okay I've used it for some time now and I've noticed two bugs for which I'm uninstalling. 1) Swiping up to go the App drawer just stopped working and every time I'm swiping up there's a horizontal glitch appearing in the dock area. 2) Everytime I change my accent colour from themes in settings, the settings app for instance doesn't change along with the accent color and glitches every time I click on it going back and forth between the colours. I really wanted to leave a five star review.

Pear launcher is a fine app that works in its best way. But random bugs and lack of certain features needed (for someone who's new to smartphone & drawer system). Please add option of keeping all apps on homescreen alphabetically or manually like mi launcher. Dark mode is more of black mode try adding greyish mode also as theme. Downloaded Pear now companion but doesnt work. No day, time, month, alarm widget. Add app drawer button on dock. Renamed edit apps doesnt exactly that way in searching.

A fast launcher with dynamic clock and option to set search bar above or below dock. Dark theme isn't applied to Google Now. "At a glance" widget is not provided. The search widget of this launcher cannot be installed on home screen with "App isn't installed" message. Once wallpaper picker app is selected, it cannot be re-selected from the wallpaper option in the pop-up menu on desktop. It has to be re-selected from launcher settings. It is inconvenient. Please fix them. Thanks.

Got all the features I watched for a launcher, lightweight, home page and app drawer customization, folder style and icon normalisation. Just one thing that bugs me, when the home screen is locked the option of uninstalling app that appear on long press is still there. It happen that app got uninstalled unintentionally

It is generally are good fast launcher.The problem I personally have with pear launcher is the blur option.There is an option to change the color of the notification bar, the thing is changing the color to white to see your time and date when the blur option is on also affects the navigation bar and the whole thing becomes ugly.Another issue is when the blur option is enabled, the nav bar is unaffected by the blur. It would be nice for the full blur option to fix the bugs in the beta version.

Excellent launcher, go for pro version. One of the many features I like the most is to just shake device to lock screen. But facing few problems frequently;taping or sliding up for app drawer wont open. Status bar icon & text turns dark even in day time. In that case I have to restart the launcher all time.

Great launcher, love the ability to have multiple actions for icons and also changing shape and size of icons. Will give 5 stars if you get rid of the navigation buttons while using gestures.

I very much like this launcher and I want to be able to rate it higher, but there are issues that take a toll. The launcher frequently just stops responding to certain gestures - specifically the "left" for Google Feed (Google Now) and the "up" for app tray. I have to restart the app (settings, advanced, restart) to get the app try to work again, but I have to restart the PHONE to get the feed gesture to work again. If it weren't for these daily occurrence inconveniences, it would be 5 stars (Samsung Galaxy S10e on Android 11).

After updated to Android 11 there is an issue in app drawer when searchbar in drawer is disabled and pull to open is enabled. Swiping up is not working after lockscreen. If pull to open is disabled swiping up drawer works, but swiping down drawer does not work. Thank you 😀 P.s. i use No Dock in Option. When pull to Open is disabled, App drawer is working after screen is relocked. Imho, pull to open is the issue.

Beautiful interface but keeps stopping. Yet to find a launcher that have all important basic functions or that actually works consistently in long run. Disappointed.

Best launcher in my opinion. Everything that you need normally is free, no ads, a lot of the customization available, can hide apps and runs so smooth . Great work. Only a few requests to developer . need alphabet with scrollbar and need option to remember the scroll position.

Brilliant android stock launcher with small package size and lots of customisations. And layout backup is an advantage over that. But there are little glitches that can be fixed. -I have Redmi Note 5 Pro but the icon shape in themer just doesn't work. -The Google search is great but it could be much better if there would have been a date engraved in it too. -The Google search doesn't work with Google go.

DO NOT PURCHASE PRO VERSION App still hasn't been fixed. It freezes consistently making it useless. And you know this and are ok with it...that's why there is a "restart" option. Until fixed this is a sham.

I have the latest version installed. Version 209. Where is the option to sort folders?? Old bug: adding apps to folders is not working fine. Other bug: Deleting folders is not working fine. Lots requests: - folders in tabs- custom coloured settings screen in normal theme. - in appchecklist hide the apps that already are in folders. About to uninstall :( Because too many bugs unresolved.

It is very good launcher, l like it, and i have bought the pro version as well , but when you create a folder on desktop you cannot add multiple apps to it I one time , that make creating folder very difficult and time consuming. That is why I give you 3 stares only.

'ReEdit- issue still not resolved,, what have you done. I have to go back to ancient version' 'Edit- app is losing data even in 2.0.1 version. Please fix. When i restart my phone all the icons on home get replaced by the default home apps(Google apps & contact).' Best best, stock-like & more customizable. This is now my main launcher in miui.

Excellent and lightweight launcher, has blur not seen on Nova and has ability to create folders in app drawer as seen only on nova. However, once u add app in folder, it doesn't disappear from drawer, thereby increasing hassle to configure it to ur liking. Developer, plz add this simple functionality and u have a winner who will knock down nova from the throne.

Clean intuitive launcher with lots of useful features. Great options which are intuitive to setup & use, I cannot think of any improvement. Fewer permissions than most, no internet permission, no trackers reported by Exodus. The best I've ever used.

I came to Pear looking for a less bulky, faster, replacement for Nova and Evie. I installed this a few weeks ago and found it slick, fast, and stable albeit with a few niggling bugs. The dev is active on XDA and takes onboard feedback, and now those bugs are already fixed! This Launcher is small, FAST, way faster than Evie, and almost as customisable as Nova. Where Nova wins out on customisation options still, Pear beats it by offering *enough* otions while being rock solid and lightweight.

some gestures like pinch in and out can be added ,iOS style dock ,even small settings like scroll effects and changing theme are deep buried in settings and it can be Placed on bottom part of overview which is empty ,in overview corners of page can be rounded , when long-pressing blank space of home page it should open popup message or overview like that , instead of google now left most page a page with cards like favorite contacts,weather,notes ,storage etc.like that I needed.

Very good. The only glitch I found: it freezes from time to time, and it has to be force-reloaded. It would be great to have the option to alphabetically sort folders inside the drawer.

Best launcher I've used I'd change a few little things like being able to custom arrange the apps and folder in the app drawer with a click and drag style and also be able to drag apps in and out of folder from the app drawer but other than that it's perfect for what I need.
