A plugin for Canvas for Pebble ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pennas.pebblecanvas ) that allows the display of notifications from your Android device on watchfaces created using the Canvas for Pebble app.

The app uses the accessibility service to read all notifications, filter them according to user-changeable preferences, then sends it to the Canvas for Pebble app along with the icon of the sender application.
This plugin requires Canvas for Pebble and Pebble apps to be installed, and the use of the Pebble Smartwatch. Once the plugin is installed on top of these required apps, a "Pebble Canvas Notifications" option appears after choosing the "Plugin" type for a new layer in Canvas.

I love Canvas and it's excellent that we can now display notifications in our Canvas apps but having switched from "Notification Center for Pebble" for pebble notifications I'm seeing unwanted side effects of the Accessibility Service approach such as it not honouring the device's DND setting (e.g. at night) as well as being notified of unwanted updates to permanent 'connected' notifications. I think if you switched over to the Notification Listener instead for 4.3+ devices the user experience would be 5*! Thanks
Excelent complement for the canvas app. I wish it had button to cleanup the notification area in the canvas, I don't know if the notifications are new or are the same as the last time I checked the phone. Is this something that it already has and I don't know how to do? something missing and that it can easily be added?
Im changing my review as there is a huge bug that is preventing me from using this app any longer, if I run out of battery or my phone restarts I love all of my options and I need to wait for the list of apps to repopulate and select the ones I want notifications from one by one every time, App Isnt saving any data. ---- The last update that added the notification icon is amazing, I love this plugin but there is a still a big issue that would make this plugin perfect. The text of the notifications are still getting cut off, I know this might be a limitation with the way Canvas/Pebble works but I would suggest adding a new variable that splits in 2 or 3, for example, Subject part 1 variable would have the first 40 characters of notification 1, and another variable for Subject part 2 which would have the rest of the characters! Please keep up the good work, your plugin is essential for Canvas now!
All the entries are just blank.
As of June '15 on 5.0.1, doesn't update (send notifications to Canvas or to the watch), and when editing in Canvas, doesn't update the icon if you've previously had the icon at a different image. (That may be a Canvas bug). Fantastic concept though, 5 stars when all the links get worked out!

Amazing idea. Would be even better if the last 3 notifications could be displayed (instead of only the last 2)!

I would love to be able to set how many messages are under whatsapp, KiK, viber or facebook messenger. You have created an app that can see the messages. If you can make a dynamic number that goes up and resets when the notifications are read. It would be good to add a numbering system to the list apps or sort so u know which app corresponds to the number.
