Awesome, it is the best pedalboard app I could find for android! Perfect to plan and play with different configurations to see how everything fits on the board of your choice. There is a custom option for unlisted pedals. If you could insert a custom image it would be even better!!! But the developer is very communicative and adds everything if you send him dimensions and images...
It would be great if you can give us the list of the pedals that are added in every update. Also, having the pedals sorted not just by brand but also categorized by type (dynamics, overdrives, delays, etc.) would be great so that people that are new to pedals can easilly browse through the list and not waste time guessing or researching for what those pedals do. 😊
Won't say it's bad. I'm sure they're just getting started and on their way to a super clean finished product. But I can't seem to be able to rotate the pedals which kinda important for the Tetris game that is pedal planning. Maybe it is available and I just don't know how to do it EDIT: just found in "What's new" section that I have to doubletap to rotate
Love this app. Really great to plan a build when you are looking for a new sound. Being able to add a custom item or a scale photo of a homemade or rare pedal makes it a lot more flexible than most other apps and websites out there. This is my goto app when I'm planning a new build being able to save that layout for reference layer is always a plus.
Fantastic! I have spent countless hours making pedal boards. I have an idea though, I don't know how possible this is. The addition of custom pedals is great but what If there was a way for users to insert their own images into the app and be able to update the pedals in there themselves? If would save having to update it all the time?
This is a good fun app. It has a huge variety and range of different pedals. I have never encountered any adverts either so thumbs up. 👍🏻 The only negatives for me are it's missing a few pedal brands that I was planning on purchasing. Also it might be nice if it would calculate the power draw in mA. Overall though its actually good fun seeing what your planned board could look like.
This is miles better than the pedaltrain version. I would like to see a paid version with features like power requirements, jack and DC connectors for better spacing/routing, PSU options (some people have them on the board), updated pedals, switchers, and snd/rtn boxes. Even if they put ads on the free one and updated the pedals, I would probably still use it. It's useful but for now I'm going to stick to the measuring tape and spreadsheet. Worth downloading.
Gàve me the correct pedal board that I have and has a good array of real looking actual effects pedals. I would give this app a perfect 5 if the pedal inventory was complete. Overall, I'd recommend it to design schematics of your pedal board as long as you have the basic knowledge of effects pedals and how they fit in the order of use.
Great app, but it doesn't have the entire range of pedals to choose from. I have pedals which are not mentioned in this app. For example I have the BOSS GT-3 Multi-Effects Processor, Biyang Metal-End, Morpheus Drop Tune, Fender YJM Overdrive, Twinote P¥ Fuzz, Donner series (Yellow Tail, Tuner, Mod Square, Morpher Distortion, Pearl Tremor, Multi Digital Delay Echo Square) Mr. Power Guitar EQ 7 Band Equalizer. These pedals are not available as an option. Please update to make it more widely usable
This is definitely an awesome and much needed app for Guitar and Electric Bass Guitar Players! I , however couldn't find my pedal board listed( SKB), which I always thought was a very common pedal board! Also I am curious, if the app gives any recommendations on pedal order? I personally went to School for Music in Philadelphia, and studied Upright and Electric Bass, and just recently began playing Lead Guitar in my Church Worship Band. So I bought 9 Guitar pedals and need to learn how to set up
I give it 3 stars because it is a nice concept and has a good layout & ui. Unfortunately only 2 of my 14 pedals are listed and neither is my board and it's not like i use junk equipment. This makes the app essentially useless for myself but ill give 3 stars for the devs efforts. I'll have to check it out at a later date to see what the updates bring
Crashes and buttons don't work well either. Could be great but needs a ton of work. Takes forever to try load new boards. If it ever loads it before crashing. Wish it was better. Using android and it's pretty unusable.
App takes forever to load. When it loads, it crashes about a minute later. There's no updated pedals on there especially with the release of all of the new gear out now. Fix. Your. App.
No wiring suggestions. I was looking for an app that would show the best way to wire a pedal board. I have about 15 different pedals and depending on the order they're connected really effects the sound. I'm still not sure the sequence I should wire my board.
I really love the app. It helps me plan out the chain of effects no matter where I am. One question though. When I ran the app, it said there was an update. I clicked yes on the update and it downloaded a 100+ MB file but nothing happened after that. I had to update it through the app store and it was just a 3mb update. What happened there?
Interesting idea, but the database is missing too many things to be useful to me. And the pedal sizes aren't all represented correctly on screen (Maxon and Ibanez 9-Series are the same size in real life but not in the app).
No Diezel pedals? No Xvive Golden Brownie? Maybe a good feature would be, when creating a custom pedal, to be able to apply an image and the app automatically resizes to match custom pedal size.
Incredible selection and the pictures next to the names helps so much. The search tool is really helpful to find whatever pedal I'm looking for.
Does what it's supposed to, more or less. But the Menu option is somewhat broke on my Samsung S10. Seeing "Handling the unknown error. ?.0: attempt to index upvalue "?" (a null value)". Request: all currently offered pedals from Idiotbox. Thank you.
Useful for planning a board but missing tons of pedals and boards. It's been 5 months since the last update and developer does not respond to requests.
Very nice app, has almost everything i was looking for. Sometimes it crashes when i try to search for pedals and I have to start over.
I have all available branded pedals and I am looking to buy or make a board. This is a massive advantage to ordering and pedal position. Spent far too much time on it already....
My board is a Trailer Trash Pro. Why isn't there a TT board template? This was the initial impression. I went on to find out the app does not work at all.
Great idea, please add some bass pedals. Edited: more added, custom pedal options. Only downside is I'll end up buying more pedals. Well done dev
Hi! Just want to say that it's an excellent app! Hoping that the HeadRush Pedalboard, HeadRush Gigboard, and the HeadRush Expression Pedal will be added soon in the next update!
Excellent app. Now I can figure out planning my board. Hope the newer R-Series by Joyo can be included. I thinks there's a total of 15 pedals from them.
+ Lots of pedals, lots of pedalboards; - can't add two boards or more, some pedals added instead others (i.e.empress compressor added as diamond), no custom sizes
Very useful in planning out an ideal pedalboard. I would have paid for this! Or least donated for the trouble of making it!
Pretty cool for brainstorming. Mapping the cables is maddening. I don't use the arrows, they seem pointless. Frequent issue with some error message that won't go away for a minute. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now my custom item are all see through, no color. It's discouraging that this hasn't been updated since November 2019. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall one more time.
