This needs more letters besides "E". After a little while you can come to recognize the shape of the letter and discern it's direction that way, even if the letter is blurry or ouf of focus. Instead of a shake feature, a "Cannot identify direction" button would be better
This app is good but it shows eyesight score after test as -0.3 and in simulation can't see this number so this glitch needs to be fixed
please change that "shake" feature when the child cant see the chart l. shaking is sometimes usless and it adds hassle to the process
Not for self use. Must have second person to administer test. 2nd person must explicitly follow instruction on the app for test to be valid.
Can I use this app in my tablet instead of my phone, if the calibration is right?
My phone has no gyro so it can't detect me when I shake it couldn't get through the tutorial

Its great. Patient understand easily how to use it.
Really need to provide a scaling option of less than 2 metres. Something like arms length (40cm or so). Most people using these kinds of app are looking to do a self test before seeking professional input. I doubt too many professionals would use a free source app over proven and tested charts they already have
This app is limited because it uses only one letter. It underestimated the eye power. 1.5 was given as 0.7. They need to give random letters not just one E.
Must have ability to check beyond 6/6. Many young people can achieve 6/4.
Hi. There is no any settings about the size of your screen . Does it recognize the size of screen automatically ? Does the size of screen affect the test? Thanks

How about add voice control to test my eyes by my seft. With a bluetooth headset i can do it easily without my sister help.

Really helpful and innovative.
Found out that one of my twins had an eye issue with this app during covid when we were worried about stepping out. When we later went to the doc, it corresponded quite well. It's very easy to use, and truly remarkable in bringing easy eye testing to almost everyone with a smartphone. The only minor issue is that you have to find out how to shake it when the letter is unreadable.
