When it works it's my most favorite app ever! But once I leave the house and return it's a pain to get bluetooth to reconnect again. It is not the phone, I have had this problem on multiple phones. also my current phone right now is brand new. I shouldn't have to reset the Pronto every time after I go out.

I was bummed when Samsung removed the IR blaster from their design, but thanks to the Pronto and this app I can control my TV and various other devices without hunting for a remote. The app works well, with a few bugs, but they've worked out most of the kinks.

It works fine but you can't pay to disable ads (you get an error message about not being able to contact server). Please fix this. Great app but not being able to pay for ads free version is very frustrating

Better after update, but getting error message when trying to disable ads. I would gladly pay for ads to be removed but still can't.

I like it better when it was free

I used to love this app. My phone has no IR blaster built-in so I bought the Pronto. It worked great until an update last year broke the app.

Take the full screen ads and shove them where the sun doesn't shine. Enjoy that warm cozy feeling and have a nice day, 😉

Does not let you set up. Can't get past 'unable to get lineups' error. Emailed support and they say it's not on their end (even though I tried several devices and different connections). If they can't fix it, don't waste your time with this app and DO NOT BUY USELESS PRONTO BLUETOOTH module. TRASH WITH INCOMPETENT SUPPORT.

I thought I was doing something wrong, since I couldn't simply bring up the TV part of the remote to configure the remote on my new phone like it was on my old phone a few days ago. Now I see its a problem with everyone. I do not have a TV provider and I don't want to buy a $50 part to make this remote work. Guess I've I'll b ed looking for a different approach to use

I USED TO LOVE THIS AP BUT NOW NOT. I JUST NEED A SIMPLE REMOTE THAT CAN TURN ON AND OFF THE TV AND CHANGE CHANNEL. NOW ITS SHOWING ME SOME FUNNY CONNECTING TO CABLE PROVIDER. STUPID JOB. YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR DEVELOPER TO COMMIT SUCIDE

This app does work, ignore all 1 star reviews, these idiots move to a phone without an infrared sensor and assume it's the apps fault. BUNCH OF IDIOTS. The S7 and many other phones don't have the sensor, so it's your problem not theirs. This pronto device is a way around for you to use your phone without the sensor as a remote. Your ruining this companies reputation for your idiocy.

Works great i had the peel app on my iPhone so i already had the pronto bluetooth IR blaster when i switched to my s7 edge. And the ir blaster is only $35. Quit being cheap people thats still less that you would pay for a decent universal remote that won't do what this one dose

This app works exactly as it should. Many reviewers have criticized it for either not working or requiring extra hardware to work with the Samsung Galaxy s7. Unlike recent s-series devices, the s7 does does not include an ir blaster. As almost all tvs rely upon an ir receiver for remote input, the s7 has no means of sending a signal to most tvs. This is not a flaw with the application, but a misunderstanding of the capabilities of the phone that the reviewers chose to purchase. It is their own fault.

I bought the pronto thingy since my note 8 doesn't have the ir blaster. My issue is that it only works when it wants too. On top of that I hate the damn adds and every time I start the app it gives me a message saying there's a mandatory update but there is no update. When I had my iPhone it seemed to work better.

Everyone understand the s7 does not have the same functions as the s6. Have to buy pronto is to fix what Samsung has changed. Having said that, I purchased pronto and it is garbage. The app will not stay connected with it, I have to continually reconnect the device by taking out the battery's. To top it all off I'm now getting pop up adds on the app. The app going to he'll is both Samsung changing things up as well and pronto being garbage and peel not adjusting to the change. DO NOT BUY PRONTO, DO NOT USE APP (IN CURRENT FORM) JUST USE A NORMAL REMOTE.

I shouldn't have to pay for a freaking USB that connects the TV just to use my phone as a remote. Especially when this app come ore installed to the phone. I'm definitely going for an all that offers better service than making people pay for things that don't need for a cell phone remote! Think elsewhere if you're wanting a cellphone remote controller

Mic. G. Dec 23, 2016

I don't understand how a respected developer can push out an app that only works with their Hardware (pronto). But have the app be polluted with ads with no option to stop notifications or upgrade to an ad-free version. Please respond if you read this peel

To all Samsung S7 users, your phone doesn't have an IR. Needless to say, your phone will not work just like how your phone with IR worked with this app. 😉 To the brand head of this app, you might want to put a notice saying "A separate device will be needed for smartphones without an IR (e.g. Samsung S7)." We need to be aware of sudden changes Smartphone makers do to their products. Samsung removing IR with their S7 is very unexpected so people now are assuming you changed your app badly. 😉
