Penguin Diner 3D

I am changing my reviews ...because I am dissatisfied with this game ... There is too much need of crystals , which of course we are unable to get easily, I cannot win stars if I have not spend crystals and I can't play other levels if i don't have enough stars!!! This is frustrating and I really want you to do something about this!

Gives off the old nostalgic vibe and is a really fun game. However, the new crystals are quite hard to get. You need lots of crystals for every single upgrade in the restaurant, making the game require lots of ad watching. Some bonus objectives require you to buy those upgrades as well to complete it. And eventually, you'll get stuck watching ads because you NEED the tip multiplier. And the addition of in app purchases, I dislike it. Overall this game is fun at first but later on it gets boring.

The game itself is great and takes me back to when I played this online. But as an mobile game it's terrible because the entire leveling system requires you to spend money or watch an insane amount of ads. Very disappointed at how greedy the developers are. You literally cannot go far without buying the necessary upgrades and that takes away all the fun.

It's just like the original flash game. I really enjoyed playing it on game hosting sites. Major differences are in the art (cute) and the ways to purchase upgrades. Personally not fond of having to collect two different currencies. That's my only real complaint. I do like that you have an option of equipping certain upgrades per level. And the challenges that are set each level are fun.

I love it but it's hard to gain crystals, in the game to earn complete stars the challenges requires you to buy items for your restaurant that you'll pay using crystals but as a player that doesn't want to use actual money on a game it's difficult to go to the next level without requiring more stars. But on the other hand the animation is flawless and cute!!

I played the original game on my desktop when I was younger. I loved it. i searched for the same app, found it and beat it pretty quickly. then I saw this one when I was looking for a similar game! I love the customization but I'm not crazy about how "expensive" some of the items are. we only get so many diamonds, and like 1 table is 150 diamonds? that's crazy. plus I would watch a bunch of ads to get more diamonds but that option only pops up when it wants to. I want to give 5 stars but I can't

WHY TWO CURRENCIES? WHY SO EXPENSIVE! WHY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ADVANCE WITHOUT SPENDING REAL MONEY? I played Penguin Diner in elementary and love it! I'd had only played the first one but knew the second existed. I looked to see if they had transferred over as apps. I was so delighted when even the second one was available! Had a blast with em! Seeing this I was slightly hesitant but open. This rendition still has it's charm, great 3rd installment. But unfortunately I'll have to uninstall.

The game is good. It's somehow addicting. But like what I have read on the other reviews, you would have to have a lot of crystals to upgrade everything. And the worst part is you can't purchase crystals from the store. It says you don't have sufficient funds even when you do. I thought my funds were really the problem so I tried purchasing stuff from different games and it does work, I only get problems with this game. Hope that gets fixed soon, cause the game is awesome. What a bummer.

EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO EARN. The game was cute and fun. It was easy and challenging at the same time. However, earning diamonds IS WAY TOO HARD. There are levels which requires you to but certain items that cost WAY TOO MUCH DIAMONDS. Basically the only way to finish the game and move forward to other levels is to buy diamonds using real money.

Super fun, addictive game, but you can't get past a certain point without having enough crystals. I don't mind micro transactions when they don't interfere with the game. However when it makes it difficult to even continue to the next level without buying crystals it's aggravating.

It's very cute and I love the sound design, but even at the very beginning, buying new stuff for the restaurant is very expensive. Also I couldn't find a button to go back to the main menu and choose a level manually, so for now I gotta close the app and go back each time.

The game is cute but it gets stuck at certain level because you need more stars and to have stars, you need to have crystals and it's very difficult to get crystals. You either have to spend money or be super robot. I was really addicted to it but I had to reinstall it again and again to try to save crystals but it didn't work.

Game is really fun, and very engaging but, there is no provision to earn Crystals, only Coins. Also, can't upgrade without combination of certain Crystals and Coins. For watching 30+ seconds Ad, I get rewarded with two Crystals ? Understandably, they need to earn money but, thanks but no thanks, not interested in buying when the game developer seems to be ____. Because, I chose to play different Penguin Diner game instead hence, uninstalling..

I personally love the original, and would prefer a 2D style. I thought this game was going to be completely different, but I was fooled! The layout is practically the same, and the audio from the original is on there. The audio hit my nostalgia factor, and that made me really happy. It'll take a while for me to get used to the 3D modeling, but I think I can eventually get the same feeling from this game like the old.

It's a really good game, but you can't get through the first 30 levels without spending money or being an inhuman robot. It's a game worth paying for, but not through ridiculous, ever increasing crystal upgrades. I would much rather spend $10-$15 initially than spend $50 throughout.

This game is interesting. You have to be quick as much as possible. And one thing I'm not satisfied is that in each and every level you will have to buy equipments and you are provided the money but not the crystals, I didn't like that. As fairly we get the money that fairly crystals should also be provided. So, I had liked to have some changes in this game. This game will be the best for me if there were enough crystals to go forward levels. Don't make us play the same level twice just to earn.

I always loved the concept of game, graphics n all but it's really-2 hard game to play if you don't wanna spend in real money. The crystals are really hard to get and everything requires so much of crystals. Also they have provided the option for adds to earn crystals which doesnt work. It wud hve been a lil better if purchase for upgrades were available in coins instead of crystals. There's no way one can proceed further even with judiciously using crystals. Uninstalling it with disappointment!

It's a very good game. I really like the graphics but... I gave only 4 stars because you need to spend so many gems just to upgrade your restaurant. Starting from your speed. I'm really shocked when the gems you need to spend is too many. I hope you could lessen it a bit so the players can afford to upgrade. But over all.. it's a great game.

Will you ever open more levels? I already played all 3 restaurants and I wait for more levels to play.

Though the game is very cute. I find very hard to earn gems. All the furnitures require a certain amount of gems but you can only gain 2 gems by watching an ad. Also you can't move on to the next level without reaching a target number of stars. Please do something about the gems :( I really enjoyed playing but I can't keep repeating the same level over and over again.

Giving a 4 star rating because the game is good, but its not a free to play game after so many levels. It is impossible to watch ads like it says you can, and you can't earn gems on levels or progress in the game without spending your real life money. I prefer the original game; however, i do like how they added additional diners besides penny's that you can unlock to play.

I used to play this on my PC, so i was so happy to see this on Android. The game itself is amazing as usual, BUT they require too many diamonds to purchase upgrades which isnt fair. And some of the challenges demand u make upgrades or u can't complete them. If they would change that then the game is worth 5 stars.

I would like the game more if it had an option to go BACK and choose the level. Fix that. Also the upgrades should not have to cost coins and gems. To complete some of the challenges you have to BUY gems and I'm not going to BUY them if the games doesn't give enough from the start. For example: To complete a challenges you must upgrade your tables. The upgrade is 300 coins and 150 gems. The game only starts you with 40gems and you cant move on to another level until you have completed the level.

Would be nice if you could play the game and progress without having to purchase crystals. Within the first ten levels you aren't able to complete the challenged without purchasing the crystals.

I used to play the original penguin diner games on the computer ALL the time & seeing this was such a rush of revitalized nostalgia! The graphics are very cute in my opinion, and I don't think they took away any of what made the original games so much fun; they only improved it! I'd refrain from 5 stars mostly because I'm not highly interested in the microtransactions :^(
