Penny Dell Crosswords

Constantly either freezing or crashing. It's fun when it works, despite sooo many ads, but never know anymore whether it will work. I've gone three- or four days of trying and only getting as far as trying to open a daily puzzle before it freezes, or getting one word in before it crashes.

I go back to 5 Stars as the problem has been fixed. And now I get my 3 Daily Puzzles to solve!! I was hoping that Penny Dell would respond and/or fix this problem. The Ap will not open. Then when it does, you answer about 6 clues and it shuts down and doesn't save your Progress. This has been a great Ap. It no longer works. It opens. But when I select Daily Puzzle it freezes

Enjoy it. Like to see I can solve it. However, the medium is usually harder than the hard one?! Solve them all anyway with a hint or two ;)

I love working Dell Crosswords. I was having trouble with the app. I couldn't get it to load. It would close. So, I just decided to uninstall and reinstall. Now, it seems to be working fine. I just found out about an update. Now we get the wrong clue without watching an advertising campaign .

I absolutely loved this crossword game. Right up until a month ago. Now I have a very hard time getting into the game. It either just shuts down and I can't do anything or it will stop altogether and kick me out of it. I am not seeing any updates so I gave this game 1 star when it should have been 5!!!!

Some of the words I never have seen before so that made it difficult. I also had a hard time navigating when I made a mistake.

Want to share with my other tablets but could not get it sync with them.

I have not been able to get past the ads for 2 days because the program takes me to the Google play store when I hit the "x". Unacceptable.

This is a good app. Puzzles are relatively easy (the "hard" ones somewhat less so) and you get 3 free new puzzles everyday. Only downside is you have to watch a longish ad everytime you open a puzzle. To see where you made errors once the puzzle is completed you have to watch another ad unless you want to pay $19.99 for them to go away. Still a good app overall.

don't download this app. Ever since the update you're forced to watch a video ad. If you let the video run through you get a reward of some kind. if you close the video you go back to the puzzle page and watch a gear icon go round and round for the time the video ran. if you click start puzzle your taken back to the video ad page, not the puzzle and it starts all over. I had 4 different videos come on and never got to the puzzle so I uninstalled. Don't download this app.

I really like this crossword puzzle game. You have to buy the packs but it is no different than buying puzzle books at the store except you can get hints and a second clue. You also get 3 free puzzles a day. You have a choice of easy, medium, or hard when purchasing. Also the adds are very limited and only appear on the free games. I recommend trying this puzzle game.

I really like this particular app, but I wish there was a way to go back and do previous daily puzzles. It only lets you do the current day's puzzle, there is no calendar option to go back. Also, I had to uninstall & reinstall b/c it kept telling me to check my network connection when nothing was wrong, and now I can't reload my previous purchases.

This is the best free cruisers puzzle I've tried. The levels are was they say: From Easy to Hard. Watching an ad to get a clue is a very reasonable. I really appreciate that I can play a while game without an ad. I wish the ad removal were not so pricey at $20. It should be half that much. Otherwise, the app is quite intuitive and fun.

Best crossword puzzle app i've found. I like that it gives the choice of an easy, medium, and hard (or i can do two or all) for the day. I like that it asks me if i want to continue yesterday's puzzle (if i haven't completed it) when i choose 'today's puzzle'. It doesn't overload us with ads to watch- just before puzzle begins and each time a hint is requested.

Awesome app!! Great way to relax and train your brain, love the different difficulty levels, allows me to choose according to how much of a challenge I feel like having on a given day... Well done!!! 👍👍Just one problem, why can't you do these offline? keep getting a check your connection message right in the middle of the puzzle, really annoying!!!

I'm elderly and I have worked crossword puzzles since I was 17 yrs old... In an app, in newspaper and books. This Penny Dell app is the best cell phone app anywhere in my opinion. UPDATE: this app like other apps are using ads that you can't get out of. It's back and forth from the play store to back to the ad....back and forth. 😡. I leave the app totally and restart. With another ad but usually one that doesn't have the bad component. Come on Dell, y'all are better than this....or I hope so.

Great App as far as crossword types go. It gives options of showing mistakes and getting a hint (letter or word). You can easily choose which space to place letter in and/or across or down. It also gives you option of an alternate clue. I just wish it contained some of their word game type puzzles. It definitely needs more free puzzles.

This app gives you three levels to choose from. It is also easy to work on a puzzle, and the SHOW ERRORS button is FREE. I use to use another cw puzzle app and their SHOW ERRORS button always cost an additional fee just to turn it on. I also like the variety of puzzles you can choose from.

Going off the good reviews, I downloaded this app less than two minutes ago. Unfortunately, upon opening the app, it was quite clear to me this app was made for those who like the blocky, "Wordart" style. It's very reminiscent of 2007's Microsoft Word. I opened the Daily Puzzle no less than three times, and each time it refused to load. My phone even pulled me out of the app with a lovely "Crossword Not Working". A swift uninstall.

I reinstalled after not playing for years. I love it even more!

Really enjoyed the app for a while but can't get over one thing. If I click on any of the ads, the ad starts over. And then it never registers that I watched it so I have to watch it again. Uninstalling, other crossword apps are cheaper to stop ads and ads aren't so often.

This app keeps crashing. When I try to play, the app closes in the middle of the game and it's frustrating

I just installed this app and played the first puzzle. I didn't have any problems, knew the answers, didn't need any hints, made no mistakes. Didn't learn anything new. It took maybe 20 minutes to complete. Would like there to be an option of a timer. Wasn't particularly thrilling, no bells, no whistles, no applause...just straight to the point. Subtle, quiet, non-intimidating, easy to learn for new gamers like me. No great desire to play again. But if I do, I will try a more difficult puzzle.

Absolutely fabulous , just can't put down ! Everything is even better than your crosswords on paper . I don't say that because you get help . That is a wonderful thing though . I say that because you brought back some older puzzles mixed in with mostly new puzzles . The amount of puzzles is absolutely wonderful too . I could say more , but then you'd have a million page post . You are absolutely fabulous in every way . Keep doing what you do .

I love that there is 3 levels of difficulty in the puzzles. I love that you can get 3 puzzles every day to enjoy. I don't have to devote hours & hours to the yet I still feel satisfaction when I complete the days puzzles. I switched phones & lost all my history but it doesn't affect my playing. Love it!

I love this crossword. It's perfect for just taking a few minutes to relax. THIS puzzle and my solitaire game are the games I play most often.

Crashing constantly on my Samsung galaxy note since they released the update. Serious problems now. Please fix, because the game is great.
